@@tolboi3577 you could. Problem is they would be a little wobbly unless perfectly machined. The third hole is necessary for stability otherwise. You actually notice the stability when adding the third hole for sure
It's it there. I do that with a larger drill bit after I do all of the main holes for the screws. Just takes some practice lining up correctly with drill.
