all thread is pretty expensive, are you using 24inch x 1/2 ? not to mention the cost of washers and nut. can you share your purchase amount here. I ask becuase id like to copy your design for a 40ft 3 ft tall retain wall
@@chrisfernandez6624 I bought the all thread in bulk from KL jack. It was about .50 a ft. The washers were about .50 each and nuts are like 5 cents. It was expensive, but compared to industry specific pieces they were very cheap for a one time use.
Turned out great. I like the way you formed it up. I'm thinking of doing something similar in my front yard, but half the height and slightly less length. Great video angles, too. Thanks!
NO MASK???? Always wear a resperator doing this spraying.
Я порекомендую убрать все острые углы на швеллерах, что бы не ранить себя или других!
Nice!!! where did you get the rod/square washers? what sizes are they and materials? Thanks for the video.
Nice job!!
Is a 4" ledge enough to hold an I beam?
@@DevilTravels they're bearing on 10 inch
@@andersonpropertymaintenanc952 that's a 10" ledge? Gosh, that must be a very thick foundation wall
@@DevilTravels 8 inch core with 2inch ledge poured by cutting out foam and extending the concrete to the interior surface
where did you buy the back panel for the van ,? awesome work
👏👏👏👍It seems that you have a variety of skills. Good job bro.
Dude, this is almost exactly the plan I have for some walls I’m pouring this week! It’s like I’m getting a test run vicariously through your video. Only thing I was gonna do is use stainless rod segments and leave it in. I had the idea of cutting the spacers, but didn’t want to leave tunnels in the wall. But while watching this I realized I could drill out an inch or so of the pvc once forms are removed, then plug the holes with concrete. Thanks for sharing this!
Edit: After I wrote my comment I watched farther and you did the same thing with drilling out the pvc spacers too. 😂
Looking forward to the full length video! Keep up the good work!
If you guy will be in Utah I can help lol
love the safety crocs
Your pretty strong. I just installed HD springs in my F350 Superduty and it was a bear. Wrestling the new spings in through the fenders and dealing with 4 inch dual exhaust. Its pretty rewarding knowing you saved a bunch of money.
What does your home look like? I'm curious about your final shot of everything. Your project turned out great.
Ah ya already figured out it wasnt stiff enough. I didn't look at how old the video was
If you're going to galvanize it i sure hope you add some 2x2 along the bottom. They don't call galvanize HOT DIP GALVANIZE for chits and giggles. Your headache rack is going to warp.
With the bed mounting holes through the top of the frame just imagine how much easier this would have been to cut some 3x3x¼ blocks to weld the channel to with holes in one side to run your bolts down through the top of the frame for mounting. Then one wouldn't have to worry about trying to figure out all that notching over the hump and give you some place to run your fuel filler neck hose between to 2 frame rails.
@@davidcrumrine1165 the objective was to keep the bed as low as practical. That would've raised it up 3 inches. And no holes were drilled into the flange of the frame. That's a no no. That's why the body is bolted to the side of the rails.
@andersonpropertymaintenanc952 if you watch the video you can see the holes in the TOP flange were the ambulance box was mounted and new trucks are mounted through the top flange so obviously you're not the fabricator you think you are. Also 3x3x¼ pieces with holes welded to a 3x3x¼ is only 6 inches which isn't as tall as the 7" channel but would have ended up the same height after your botched job of trying to cut over the hump in the frame. But the holes are plain as day in the tip of the frame in the video because you can see where the washer was on the frame. Maybe watch your own video before commenting and making yourself look the fool. But if you don't have the knowledge to know what you are talking about, maybe you should stop making fabrication videos if you can't take advice on an easier way to do it. But watch your video and you will see where the ambulance box was bolted to the top of the frame in like 6 places along each rail then tell me it's a no no and look where the newer Ford truck beds bolts through the top of the frame and tell me it's a no no. You're nothing but a joke and know nothing about what you are doing and yet you show people how to do something that you don't know yourself. You're nothing but a 🤡
@andersonpropertymaintenanc952 you're such a 🤡 you do know that the ambulance bed was bolted through the top of the frame and the newer Ford beds are bolted through the top of the frame. 3x3x¼ with holes drilled in one side with 3x3x¼ runners are only 6" last I knew 6" was less than 7". Watch your own video and you will see the holes in the flange where the ambulance box was bolted to the frame. You are a joke of a fabricator and here you are making videos of stuff you are clueless about trying to show people how to do something you know nothing about. UA-cam needs to start sensoring these videos and deleting the ones that the people are clueless about what they are doing so they don't get even more people hurt. Hell you said you dropped your bed and broke 2 welds on the same gusset. You sure don't need to be welding something that is going to be hauling a sander in the middle of winter on slick roads. You're nothing but a 🤡. But what the video 🤡 and you will see the holes and go look at the newer Fords and see where the beds bolt through and get back to me about how you know it's a No No ya 🤡
@@andersonpropertymaintenanc952hell you even pointed at one of the old mounting holes when you said you may cut the frame shorter but your the 🤡 fabricator and know it all and I am the one who has built and installed over 100 custom flatbeds. Stop giving real fabricator and welders bad names ya 🤡
It’s great seeing these kind of videos gives inspiration to work on my own car

Great work! It's clear that you put a lot of heart into your videos. If you ever need help with editing or animation, I'd be happy to assist. Good luck with growing your channel!
What all the holes? Do you fill them in with something?
@@lutherhardnett1674 in this case I didn't need to because the interior is backfilled. The holes above grade I put water plug in. You could do that on all the holes if the interior is going to be left exposed
What all the holes? Do you fill them in with something?
Bein looking for this kind of video for 3days thengk u man
With all the holes in the frame might think of beefy it up you could put another rear end under their and make a tandem axle truck 19:55
I used to have a welding shop and most of my business was building grain trucks. I loved them fl series freightliner. Most people will tell you that you can't build a 10 wheeler out of the f l70 but we did. Normally, we went with a full screw and all we did to the frame was put a 3/8 x 3 flat bar on the bottom flange all from the back spring hanger of the steer axle all the way to the back of the frame. Cabs set high enough to build controls to the back for dumping in augers.
Depends what your cab to Axle ratio is if you need the cheater axle sometimes they hang up on curbs are truck did so took it off just have to see what you can bridge on it did my stuff right d o t never bother me my dad had a frr who would buy a single axle and cut behind the cab and make it into a tandem went down road weird like v shaped but never broke my brother in law brother his truck got to job and frame rotted out behind cab was stuck in truck till fire department freed him bad thing is just got back from a 40 mile run to get rock imagine if happened on interstate my trucks where double frame and heavy duty and well maintained i been there and done that 55years of it now retired 😊 12:41
The annoying music is louder than your voice.
Man i just found your channel, those porches turned out awesome. Iove the timber frame roof detail. Keep up the great work.
A little bit of information when you use your threaded rod grease them and the rods are much easier to remove
Good truck
Some narration would have been nice.
nice work cowboys🙏💕
First time ! You look like doing this all your life long
Would it have been better to extend the membrane down a few more inches and actually go over the edge of the footing just to have a safety margin?
Digs the hole then jumps in and cleans it himself!!! I salute you

It's bad enough you doing this crocs, but using a rock as a hammer is just showing off. good work.
