Yeah as a guy she completely confused me. She never even was like "hey sooooo im with this guy now just so it not awkward" or something. Also as an american dating has gotta be different See i read her completeley differently "more like thanks for not making a scene" i dont get yall lol. And ppl are so agressive in US no way those 2 guys would not have been getting in a fight within 1 min. I thought she clearly picked the hunk with the porsche and the millions. Inever once saw her desire/attraction for him after coming back she just seemed to be having fun boosting her self esteem. But would not waste her time with a dollar when there a vault next to it. Wow that take on Ben "I play" so interesting man i love Korean movies. Wow i know so many girls just waiting to "burn down"

I like how most of this video felt like it was all the fault of Thomas, like you say pippa did have an obsession grow but then say it was the fault of Thomas. And on top of all of this it’s noteworthy to mention that she did cheat on him. You cannot tell me it’s his fault she cheated on him bro. After all of this all I would have gotten from the movie is that it’s ok to get obsessed over someone and cheat on your partner with them because it was your partners fault for not helping you get rid of an obsession you shouldn’t have fucking had.

There's a phrase show me your friends and I can tell you who you are, all of Sarah's female associates are very flawed i.e she is also. If this wasn't a romantic comedy it would have turned out like sex in the city and she would have had an affair with him

What bugged me the most is that they called Patrick & Karin when they had the car accident at the end 🫠 instead of calling the police or something like that. (If I remember it correctly... I think in the car Louise said something like "thanks for coming to get us" towards Karin)

"when someone else ends up in the life that could've been yours" That's such a perfect description, and i think the only time jong su does something, is at the end when he kills ben. There's so much to break down and to understand in this movie it's crazy. Also the fact that there are so many different versions of the story which are possible

It looks like they’re just stealing the assets and properties of their victims, as in the final scene they’re on their way to another couples location they’ve manipulated with Agnes, as opposed to Bjorne and his family going to their location. I would guess it goes back and forth in a very twisted game. Also what interested me was that road house restaurant was completely empty like a contrived setting for them to continue the act. Perhaps more people are involved in the scheme like the babysitter and the waiter

Sorry but you completely missed the point of this movie. Your analysis is that she had to pay for not being her “true self.” But that is the absolute opposite of what the makers wanted to say with the film. There is no "true self" - we are all products of our environment. Human consciousness is like a substance that can assume all possible states of aggregation. It's always the same mind but it doesn't always react the same way. You're in a different mood on a rainy Monday morning than you are on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Which of these is your true self? When you are hungry or tired you react differently than when you are not. If you have had a successful day, your mood will be better than if your cat was just run over. Which of these is your “true self”? Saras Clone is a people pleaser and does all the things that Sara didn't do - she takes care of herself, she goes out, visits her mother, makes her boyfriend feel special, etc. - only to end up to be just as unhappy as Sara. Our lives determine our consciousness - not the other way around.

A lot of your analysis is blaming the characters on superficial things. The ending with her crying in her husbands arms is about the passing of the torch and finally giving up her Korean roots. In the film they stated in nyc she never cries and also we see she was a crybaby in Korea so now she can finally move on from the past love of being Korean and be herself in nyc. The conversation alone with the friend at the bar and the walk to the taxi was needed because he finally understood that he was holding her back and he needed to let go just as she did. That’s why he showed the flashback with them as kids again. Each time he had a choice and each time he failed. They both can now move on. Nora from her roots in Korea and the guy from his love for Nora

Patrick flatters both Bjorn and Louise manipulatively (insincerely) to gain their favor, unduly because retrieving stuffed animals is not heroic, nor is it that laudable to be vegetarian to the point of serving as role model. He furthermore lies when he says he's a doctor (highly respected helper of people) to gain their trust. The former is his laudatory abuse of them. The latter is his laudatory abuse of himself. Patrick uses Machiavellianism to set the snare that promises to bring him (and wife) ultimate Sadistic delight -- like the interhuman Predator that he obviously is, likely demonically possessed too (as becomes indirectly clear when he apologetically confesses to Bjorn in the car, "sometimes I have this thing right here, and it's so powerful and wild and I like it. That's the weird part. I really like it." Bjorn then admits to recognizing what Patrick is saying but that he manages to keep it under control, thereby suggesting to actually both be possessed but that Patrick allows it free rein, unlike Bjorn).

I haven't seen the whole movie yet, because l haven't download Prime video but, in my humble opinion, Pippa has developed a hugs crush and a heavy obsession, for her extremely hot neighbour Sebastian. She has tried everything until she had what she has dreamed since she saw him for the first time: a steamy one night stand with her next door hunk. Maybe Thomas was feeling it, these are issues you "feel" when you love someone, so he temporarily left, to come back and being killed by the evilish couple. As wrote on other comments, the four of them had insane obsessions ( maybe just Thomas was the real victim) that leaded to a very unhappy ending. Thankyou for the great job you did with this video, much appreciated 🫂🤗.

When I recently saw this film, I became obsessed with discovering its deeper meaning. I couldn't stop thinking about this movie and its scenes for days, despite not knowing what it was about. Although I didn't understand the majority of the metaphors and meanings, there was something about this film that stuck with me, kept me occupied, and made me think. After watching a lot of analysis, I wasn't completely satisfied, to be honest. But somehow your analysis really spoke to me; each and everything you said really spoke to me, and I was able to find closure. Thank you so much for the analysis. Great work!! <3
