Excellent and on point analysis 👍 I just watched the movie for the first time and thought the leads were such terrible people, I had to go find someone talk about it lol. Totally agree with all your points!
I also wanna add that Sarah's character is boring af, she has no personality outside of being beautiful, mysterious and having faith in destiny. It makes sense, it's so John can project more qualities of a perfect woman onto her. John likewise doesnt seem to have any traits outside his obsession with her and being sad, but it comes across as personality because he's played by John Cusack.
Hi and thank you for your comment! I though no one was watching this :)) I agree, if it hadn't been for Cusack, the character's flaws would've been so obvious.
