Hey, i discovered your channel today and really appreciate your work on this channel. And your description of why you created this channel is really inspiring. You haven't let the limitations of your surrounding to stop what you want to do. The quality of content you have created deserves a lot more views and i really hope you get a wider audience in case that's what you are hoping for.
Oh my god! I absolutely love your analysis. I can't imagine being married to someone who can't move on from their first love. I don't like a people like hae sung.
A lot of your analysis is blaming the characters on superficial things. The ending with her crying in her husbands arms is about the passing of the torch and finally giving up her Korean roots. In the film they stated in nyc she never cries and also we see she was a crybaby in Korea so now she can finally move on from the past love of being Korean and be herself in nyc. The conversation alone with the friend at the bar and the walk to the taxi was needed because he finally understood that he was holding her back and he needed to let go just as she did. That’s why he showed the flashback with them as kids again. Each time he had a choice and each time he failed. They both can now move on. Nora from her roots in Korea and the guy from his love for Nora
How did you like “Past Lives”? I enjoyed watching it. It’s a beautiful film thought-provoking film. It kind of reminded me of “Last Night” (2010), which makes me think, should I make a video on “Last Night”? Let me know if you want it!
