This Is The Future Of Basketball...
The NBA is seeing one of the best youth waves in recent memory. From freak athletes that bend modern conventions of the sport. To physical monsters that have dominant all around skill sets. To aliens that just don’t make sense and look like they could be unstoppable. And that’s just to name a few.
But what’s just as exciting is the talent that’s going to enter the NBA over the next few years. There are 5 players in particular that have stood out the most. And honestly each of these players are among the best I’ve ever seen at their age. In this video I want to talk about 5 players that are either in high school or college that you need to pay attention to.

My name is Noah Terranova. On this channel I make videos breaking down the film of basketball players in both long term and single game contexts. I use a combination of advanced stats, basic stats, tracking stats, and what I take away from watching the games to form my evalutions. My goal is to give my own perspective on the game with my own little twist on how I choose to present it.

Pay Close Attention To Cade Cunningham…
Переглядів 1,1 тис.14 днів тому
Entering the season Cade Cunningham was a decisive player. One of the more hyped prospects in recent memory, as a big creator compared to James Harden and Luka Doncic. Someone who was the consensus top prospect in a really good class with a bunch of future stars. However despite good numbers individually, his flaws have been highlighted, due to a lack of team success. Especially compared to som...
NBA Fans Are Lying About Shai Gilgeous-Alexander…

Shai is having a historically great offensive stretch over these past three years. Based on team record and impact, I believe Shai is the front runner for MVP as of right now. He’s having another historically great scoring season. He’s the engine of in my opinion one of the three best teams in the NBA right now. He’s impacting the game on both ends of the floor at a high level. And I want to ta...
Amen Thompson Is Breaking Modern NBA Basketball...

Amen Thompson is currently my favorite young player in the NBA to watch. He’s such a unique player compared to his peers in the NBA. He doesn’t really fit into the box that most guard/wings in the modern NBA do. But he also has things that allow him to play outside of that box and break the conventions of his position. When An NBA Player Can Do Whatever He Wants…

There is nobody in the NBA like LaMelo Ball. He’s one of the most unique basketball players I’ve ever seen. From his rise in high school, to his path to the NBA, to the way he plays in the NBA. He’s truly one of one. And while he has dealt with injuries these past few seasons, whenever he plays, he’s one of the best point guards in the NBA. The numbers back that up, but the tape is what makes h...
This Is The Reality For Tyrese Haliburton...
Переглядів 4 тис.2 місяці тому
Tyrese Haliburton has had a really slow start to the season. For a player coming off an all-nba season, and having signed a 244 million dollar contract extension last season, this isn’t ideal to say the least. Now it’s not as simple as “he’s bad now”, especially for a 24 year old who has 2 all-star appearances, an all-nba selection, and led the league in assists. However at the same time I do t...
The Best Basketball Player In The World Is Impossible To Stop.

The Most Chaotic Rookie In The NBA.

If you followed any of the draft content I made for the 2024 NBA draft, you know that I believed that Alex Sarr was the best prospect in the draft. In fact I believed he was one of two blue chip level prospects alongside Ron Holland in a relatively weak draft compared to some others recently, and how some future draft classes project to be. The reason I thought that Sarr was the best prospect i...
The Victor Wembanyama Problem...

Victor Wembanyama entered his second NBA season with high expectations to say the least. However while he's been good, it has been a bit of a slower start. Watching all 7 of these games, as well as looking at the numbers, it inspired me to make this video. Because we have lost the plot here. There is a lot to say about what he’s done to start this season, and how it relates to how he potentiall...
You Have No Idea How Good Bilal Coulibaly Can Be…

Bilal Coulibaly was somewhat overshadowed as a prospect during the draft process. Which was expected when he’s on a team with one of the greatest prospects in basketball history. In fact many believed he would be a 2024 NBA draft guy, instead of a 2023 draft guy. However towards the end of the draft cycle his name really started to pick up steam, due to his size, athleticism, defensive ability,...

Ja Morant is one of my favorite players not only in the game today, but also one of my favorite players ever. Zaccharie Risacher is one of the most under hyped first overall picks I’ve ever seen entering the NBA. Part of this is the fact it wasn’t a strong draft class, especially compared to the recent ones we’ve seen, and the excitement about upcoming draft classes as well. Another part of it is that Risacher wasn’t viewed that highly among draft analysts and fans alike, even in a class that’s perceiv...

If you are an Orlando Magic fan, you have to be ecstatic about Paolo Banchero. A rookie season that saw him average basically 20/7/4 and nearly win rookie of the year unanimously. I’ve been hating on Cade because I said his ceiling might be closer to a high end second option (which is still a top 15-25 player in the league), and I can’t slightly change my opinion because he’s made legit improvements with his handle and shooting?

    • @BASHirNimry

He's one of the elite 2-way players in game. Never takes a day off. Well spoken. Carries a team of 23yr olds w/ no ego. The only reason to not like Shai is because he beats 'your team'.

Slide ANY superstar guard or forward on that thunder team and they doing just as good if not better. Shai is having his 2018 harden run where everybody thinks he’s the man and then the play offs reveal who he really is. Also, saying shai was the best player during the Mavs series is unadulterated cope. Only one player made a difference in how those games played out and it was Luka. The only 2 games thunder won was when Luka played below his usual level, friendly reminder that Luka was injured. So basically, shai had a perfect series, he couldn’t have done better. But Luka simply had to play normal. Not even rise, just him playing normal was enough to beat shai. You can’t cope by saying kyrie did something neither cause in all 4 games they won, Kyrie played like shit for 3 of em. So aside from kyrie, his running mate, they both had pretty much 1-1 in terms of on paper quality of teammates. You can talk about age all you want. The mavs for hadn’t even played together for a reason and their back up big was a rookie All this to say, you can make all the excuses you want but shai is a player that does nothing special. He’s a good scorer and that’s about it. He’s not a floor raiser, not a great play maker, ok rebounder. Another friendly reminder, a point guard is averaging more free throw attempts than goddamn assists. Tells you all you need to know about his game.

This has gotta be the most casual take I’ve ever seen. You’ve clearly not watched enough thunder games to make this take because if you have you would know that Shai is one of the most consistent players playing at a superstar level. And your take for getting more fts than assists surely has to be rage bait because you get 2 fts per foul, it’s fundamentally harder to get 5 assists compared to getting 5 fts, it’s basic math. As an OKC fan I can say our roster is brilliant defensively but offensively we can be stagnant if our shots aren’t falling, Shai the previous playoffs was basically carrying out offense against the Mavs and he was objectively the best player in the series. The reason we lost was lack of size and inexperience on the team. You clearly have a biased agenda that has been disproven because Shai not only proved he is not a playoff dropper, but a riser.

Shai is a Combo Guard like Jordan, not a point guard. The NBA just has to give him a position, but that designation is irrelevant. Shai is the best 2-way perimeter player in the NBA and this Thunder team is a different and much better team from last year. Hope those Mavs are ready to buckle up if they make it far enough to face the Thunder in the playoffs.

It's damn near 6 games, I think. It looks like they have 2 Boston, 2 NY, and 2 Cleveland games in the next 2 weeks, plus Philly who's playing better. That's a buzzsaw of a road trip. lol

Mobility and Athleticism is there on the defensive end. He has that Kevin Garnett Mobility on the defensive end, on the offensive end, he just needs consistency, he has a 3 ball and can roll to the hoop, add a little more polish on his post game and add more IQ, he'll be extremely valuable to any team.
