Haliburton's struggle is pretty clear. You can see him on the sideline wearing a heating pad. He has a history of back spasms and the regiment isn't working for him. It's messing with his shot and his finishing ability. On top of that Haliburton has always been a bit streaky/emotional, when he get's hot it carries over into the next play but on an off night he gets in his own head with pressure. But the mental side wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for his back.
yea I remember end of last season he was playing terrible after an injury but Its clear he can still turn on the jets especially in last years playoffs
Hali copied Steph in that he used the threat of his jumpshot -- and specifically that you had to guard him at 30 feet -- to create easier driving lanes for himself. If you overplayed his jumper he could drive by you because he had such a long runway and could take wide angles. If you took away the drive he would shoot over you. If you brought help he found an open three or layup. But now that defenders aren't overplaying his jumper, he can't get downhill. It's a delicate balance. Plus the offense isn't as spread out as it was with Buddy so the driving lanes are smaller.
Good analysis and foresight! I been wondering about if he’s dealing with a lingering injury from the recent playoffs.. He seems to be missing his blow by speed that nobody could cover when he’s aggressive but playing more off ball
Tyrese is so skilled and i am rooting for him, but he is skinny for an NBA player. Just look at other NBA players his height and it's clear this man lacks strength. If he gained 10-15 lbs of muscle he would be so much better at driving to the basket and he'd have open threes for days a swell.

Hali is amazing he reminds me of Markelle fultz
?
@@fgea234 an odd comparison could you please explain how?
That’s just a terrible comparison. They are nothing like each other 😂😂😂😂
2022 Fultz > Current Haliburton
14-4-6 (51%FG) > 16-4-8 (38%FG)
@@MotpyrCNesia lol thats not good for the Pacers then. Haliburton is getting paid 2.5x more than what fultz got for that season.

Bro is just too focused on the Starbucks line.
Sad thing is the already gave him the Super max and he is not a super max player….
Haliburton has been awful since his injury last year and i mean awful this is not just a "bad start to the season".
Hali peaked at last year in season tournament after that he is regressing to the point Siakam and Nembhard play better than him in the playoffs😶🌫
I hope Ja returns the night they play Indy
Agreed. Pacers would lose however
His game is definitely mid … without the threat of his pull up his game is neutralized
Those are Killian Hayes numbers lol
Killian hayes has never even reached anything close to that
He has a back injury actually
1 year wonder lmao.
Sure, with 2 All-Star games. but okay.
