I have been trying a lot of right before sunrise shots and right before sunset shots. I hear you about being ready with all your batteries and trying to get your timing right. Love your new camera 📷. So what if you don’t see a profit before you head off to the old folks home 😂 Your son will love using it! 😂🤣🖖
Thankyou - yeh - it's all about practice really and just tryingh to methodically plan it. That said, once the hyperlapse is executing, it does just involve a lot of just standing around looking up! 😂 Have fun and keep it in VLOS 😉🖖
Just subscribed. Love the video and the entertainment you made me laugh with your sense of humour, plus I learned from your video. Thank you for putting a smile on my face from a windy York. PS I will catch up with the rest of your videos Tam.
Thanks Tam - glad you enjoyed it - it was a bit of a ramble TBH but I got there in the end! 😂😂😂 Thanks for the sub as well! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with wind! I'll be doing a vid about that soon - kindof have to, as I've been sent an anemometer to review (and I always though it was a device for measuring pineapples! 🤔) All the best! 🖖
Fly in the dark, normally at night! 😂 Mate you're fun! 😂 I have been wanting to do a transition shot from the time I bought my Mini 4 Pro (last December) and it's been until now I haven't done it! But thanks for your amazing videos!
Thankyou - best of luck with your transition video - and I’d definitely recommend trying out the ‘opacity’ method for matching up your shots (as used in my sunset vid). Thanks for watching!🖖
Thanks Paul... That's where we get the guts up to do it from the street - which I still haven't done yet! (Now there's an idea for a video!) But pop yourself down the park perhaps - blue hour should be safe... Good luck!🖖
Ooh - now boats… yeh! That would be awesome - vid coming up soon in extreme long exposure photos - and boat lights and night would be epic (needs to be v calm tho) I’m not sure that’s as what you were on about, but it’s given me some inspo! Take care buddy! 🖖
It’s a good point, but shutter speed and white balance was on manual, so only iso was on auto, so that was really the only variable and that seems to stick at 100 with a 2 second shutter speed at night. Thanks for mentioning it though! 🖖
@amoktimeflies oh my had! Sorry about that. I'm subbed and looking forward to future vids! I have the Air 3. It's my first drone. I've done 188 flights with it, 25.6hrs & 250km since 1st of July 2024
Thankyou! And to answer your question, hyperlapses are slightly different to normal video in that they are effectively a photo mode and are made up of multiple photographs that are then stuck together to create the .mp4 file (and it does that all in it's little brain while flying!). So unfortunately no, as there is no 'night mode' when taking photos, there is no night mode hyperlapse, but hey - if a dummy like me can do this stuff - just think what regular people can achieve!. Thanks for watching! 🖖
Technically, yes you can - make them during the day, then when you go into the waypoint section of the hyperlapse bit there is the option to load in a previous hyperlapse waypoint mission. (Little paper icon to the top left of where you would add the waypoints)(. However - be aware - I think there maty be a bit of a bug with this. Occasionally I've set the drone off on a previous waypoint mission and it goes a bit mental - I almost lost it the other day when it decided to fly off in the opposite direction and start DESCENDING rather than ascending! (Yep was taking off from exactly the same place)... So just be ready to hit the pause button as soon as you see it doing something untoward! Thanks for watching!🖖
No it's not you - I am whispering. I have a nuisance neighbour with 3 really annoying yappy dogs - once they start barking they don't stop for ages. They will react to anyone or any thing in a 100m radius that makes the slightest noise, so I try to pick the right time to take off etc, but sometimes they get let out while I'm flying and then all hell breaks loose! 🖖
OK - good to know. Although in my defence I have absolutely mental dogs 3 doors down that tend to go on a tirade of barking if they so much as sense me moving! But thanks for the feedback. 🐕🐩🐶🖖
Aww thankyou so much - as someone who's only been doing this sort of stuff for a year that genuinely boosts my confidence - thankyou! If you have any tips on tweaking the EQ they would be most welcome! (edit: BTW - you wouldn't believe how many 'breathy' and 'mouth' sounds I had to cut out of it!)💖🖖
@@amoktimeflies keep having fun with your channel. I got lots of snide comments over the years and with live radio, there were plenty of fist chewing moments of embarrassed regret. As for technical tips... don't ask me, I was just a gob on a stick (now retired). It all sounds OK to me.
@@cnrspiller3549 I do think when you can hear someone's tongue slapping around in their mouth then that's too close. I was listening with a good set of phones though.
Love that presentation style... chilled out, but full of nice techy stuff and cool aerials. Excellent work...
Thankyou Jaaaaa(I've used up all my of 'a's)y! Very nice to hear from you!. Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗🖖
Awesome video!!
Really like all you cover and explain!!!
😀👍🐾🐈⬛👏👏👏🍻
Cheers Chris! - I jump about a bit in it and it’s got hints of ‘stream of consciousness’ to it, but I’m glad you liked it 😁🖖

Jurassic Park! You are one of the few people that would get that reference! Fancy a pint later on? Nope, neither do I thankyou... 😂🖖
@@amoktimeflies Classics! I'm going to watch some right now!
Those hyperlapse videos are quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Hehe - yeh - I’m a bit of a hyperlapse addict myself! Thanks for watching Kyle! 🖖
Another super fantastic video. You are really pleasantly crazy😂😂🤣🤣. Thanks for the very good information.
Thankyou - "Pleasantly Crazy" 🤣 I think I might get that engraved on my gravestone! 😉🖖

Perfect ASMR-Drone-Video for hanging the laundry. Love it ;-)

Ooooh - but I have a better one planned on my whiteboard! One word - Stills.... 🖖

Shouldnt you take camera settings off Auto otherwise shutter speed and ISO may change

Great video. Will try this out. Can we simply turn on ‘night mode’ and let the drone take care of exposure etc?

Can you make the waypoints during the day light and fly at night using the same waypoints?
