For sure, it would be a completely different game as any other character. On the other hand, the slingshot mechanics are super janky and I just wanted to play to the end. I realize that Charmy breaks things, but that's exactly why I played as him.

@@Commodore128 Yeah it is janky. The logic for the physics of two Sonic characters tethered is correct, but the level design needed more time.

@@LorenzoDoesntExist Hah, yeah the game is a wild experience. There's a lot to like, and a lot that just isn't there. To me it's one of those games that might not be very "good," but it's still fun to play regardless.

I've actually grown to appreciate them a lot more now that I'm older. I think of them more like rhythm or timing puzzles, rather than platforming. Not that there are actually that many of them in this game.
