I've only heard of this ballet because I'm sure we've seen snippets here! Good to see a little bit more of it. :-) Something cropped up in my feed today that I thought people (including our gracious host here) might enjoy, if they're interested in the American ballet: John Clifford's channel. He danced for Balanchine and his videos often have long descriptions of what was happening behind the scenes. Hope someone enjoys these (and hope BQ doesn't mind me mentioning it). And thank you for another fun moment of ballet!

Two quite interesting Mariinsky dancers, Maria Bulanova 2nd Soloist, and famous for her rotation ❤❤; and Yuliana Chereskevich 'Coryphées Dancer' ❤❤. Together with the rest of the corps dancers, they're performing The Legend of Love Act 2 'Court Dancers' ❤️♥️! Bulanova, she's beautiful, versatile, capable of dancing various techniques ❤, and she's one of the top students of Vaganova Class 2018 ❤; the other brilliant students being, Khoreva, Ionova, Nuykina and Petukhova ❤. A 2008 Vaganova Graduate, Chereskevich's a great Mariinsky 'Coryphées Dancer', a shining star dancer herself ❤! Gorgeous performance by the Corps de Ballet members, too ❤❤! It's Sergei Prokofiev, and the ballet is Cinderella. By the way, this is the act 2 pas de deux between Cinderella and the prince, one of my most favourite pas de deuxs! I feel that its music has such a grand feeling! 🤩💝

It's Brooklyn Mack, an amazing dancer performing Basil's variation. By the way, I think that the way the music is presented in this version, especially in the last passage, is a bit confusing in my opinion.

I love, appreciate all the spectacular pas de trois pieces, of this compilation video indeed ❤❤❤! ! I specifically love 'La Bayadère's Shades Pas de Trois Act 3, Royal Ballet dancers ❤❤. Tho, I also love the 'Shades' P D Trois Act 3, of Bolshoi's Osipova, Krysanova and Nikulina, and the corps de ballet dancers perform with the 3 main Soloists ❤❤. It's great to watch 'corps members' doing their movements❤❤; and the 3 main dancers executing their own exciting combination steps ❤❤! The Khoreva, Ionova, and Nuikina 'Pas de Trois' is a great P D Trois imho ❤❤. I saw, I like the Odalisque P D Trois of Guseinova, Selina & Gonchar, and in their Coda, they dance to a 'wonderful' finish ❤❤! I really love this video post @ B Q, soo spectacular, thank you very much ❤❤😊.

No perfect score for me...:-s There are just some ballets I _always_ get confused. And there are plenty of ballets that are on my list to watch the whole thing, if I can just find them online. Enjoyed the Naiad pas de trois. And the energetic Don Q, and La Sylphide, and... :-)
