Fantastic! Lost track of my score so obviously need to learn more - why did I not know there was a ballet with a live goat in it? Also fascinating to see how the ballets have changed through time, particularly the costumes but also the physiques of the dancers. I imagine there are plenty more historical photos around so hopefully we'll see another quiz on this theme, some time. Thank you!
I got 20/20!!! I'm very happy you finally did it! It's amazing how many pictures you have researched (so there still was much to discover for me). But just why only one for Sleeping Beauty ? (; as I do like so much Marie Petipa as Lilac Fairy or Varvara Nikitina and Enrico Cecchetti as Bluebird (; Anyway, it was a nice challenge not only to have familiar pictures (yet, so typical again for you, nr. 2 and 3 (; ). What I still again and again think is baffling that Lev Ivanov was Solor in original La Bayadere performance and that there were black swans (but not Odile as black swan) in Act 4 of Swan Lake 1895 revival (the picture with Vera Trefilova)....
@@BalletQuiz Yes, I did! I just would have wished a little bit more of the romantic era (as these beautiful colored paintings...), and here you focused almost only on the classic era (and early 20th century) in the black-white photos. I know that it's harder to get the music for them, but well, perhaps at least for a few more? (; .... Perhaps you can do someday a part II (also perhaps considering vintage photos of middle 20th century performances). Just as input (;
15/20, disfruté mucho el video, quizas mis fotos favoritas son las de Olga Preobrajenskaya, Pierina Legnani y Matilde Kschessinskaya ❤️😭. Mas videos así 🙌🏼
Fourteen correct answers and it's a beautiful compilation video @ B Q ❤😊😊! One of my favourites is Don Quixote Act 2 Cupid Variation, by Sokolova ❤; I always remember Obraztsova when I see the 'Cupid' Variation, she has great speed & agility & acceleration ❤! I reckon Polunin and Ershova performed a beautiful Paquita PDD, I love them both ❤! For Kitri, Osipova's considered the best by many ❤; tho I also am quite fond of 'Cynthia Harvey's Kitri ❤; she's gorgeous, tall and fiery ❤. Thank you @ B Q ❤😊.
20 из 20. Честно говоря, Синюю бороду угадала методом исключения😊. Остальные балеты и большинство артистов балета на фотографиях знаю. Сам тест очень интересный!
Огромное спасибо за эти великолепные фотографии!!!❤❤❤
You're most welcome, and thank you as well for watching ❤❤
18/20.😁 C'est un merveilleux hommage aux figures historiques du ballet classique.😊Bravo pour l'idée et la réalisation. J'ai adoré ce quizz. ❤
Mille mercis ! Je suis contente que ça vous ait plu 😊
20/20! To be honest, I knew all the historical figures that you showed and the roles that they did. But I got an extra help from the music as well!
Perfect as always! Well done 👏
