Remarkable Results! Ultimate Metal Cutting Saw in Action!
Welcome to the channel where we do a little bit of everything. In this episode I show you the awesome 18v Milwaukee Fuel 5.375" Metal Cutting saw in action. We are cleaning up around the shop and getting rid of some of these old jobs that we rebuilt. Due to size constraints of our scrap bin, we had to cut down some heavy wall tubing and c channel.
The more I use this little saw, the more I am impressed with it. This is still the original blade this saw has come with and we have used it a bunch. Quite remarkable with how well the blade has held up. If you are interested in this check it out!

While that is somewhat easy said for us, some of our best four legged friends just don't understand (hint). Today, we are designing, cutting and tig welding aluminum into amazing wildlife cages. These cages must not only be nice to look at but also fu...

In this video we take a dive into learning about the health of my 2023 Toyota Tundra engine. With my truck being one of the 100k affected by the recall, I decided to send a oil sample off to Blackstone to find out what problems I could have lurking and to give me a base line for future testing. Oil analysis can be a great tool to help understand if you potential issues. The big questions are ho...

Picture Perfect! How to Machine a Camera Lens Adapter
The saw seems great but the real story is the blade, what kind of blade is it?
It's the standard 30t blade that comes on it. It has held up very well for the abuse I have put it through
If you're from Georgia you never want to be caught fiddle farting around.
Hahaha, well it happens
I have 120k kms on my 22 SR . Still sounds good . I hope mine makes it until new engine .
Heck yeah! Hope you make it as well. I think most are fine. I did just send in my next oil sample. Curious to see if there is any changes. Also did get them to test oil life left since it is right at 5k miles. Curious how that will come out
@LivingwithCable I change mine at 8k km which I believe is 5k miles . I use mobile 1 synthetic with toyota filter .
@@LivingwithCable 120k km is 75k miles
I was able to trade my 23 platinum no hybrid for a 24 1793 hybrid got good money for my 23
After seeing some of the new features the 25s will have, they perked my ears up but I am going to hold on to this one
Nice truck I have the same truck 😂 I have a 22 model I’m running Mobil 1 0w30 engine they replace my engine 😮
I honestly love the truck. I am kinda waiting for it to go kaboom. I am getting close to the mileage most seem to blow. Until then, gonna keep on
Sold my 1st gen 2007 with 225K mi and replaced w/ the '24 SR5. I "looks" like my mfg date is outside the recall dates with latest mfg dates of 2/23. Mine is 10/23. I HOPE this is the case and best of luck to you folks who are affected by this. I'm already getting emails from lemon law attorneys. They're clearly smelling Toyota blood in the water.
I wish I still had my 07. Don't get me wrong, I love this truck but I would have kept my 07 for a work truck. They still have not produced a remedy on the app. They did have a release saying that new engines will be installed. Next week, I will be heading to the dealer for my 35k mile service. I also am about to pull another oil sample to send off
What happens the the odometer after the engine is replaced? I’d want a new one!
Unfortunately it will still show the old mileage as everything else on the vehicle will be that old.
Does it go back to zero?. Well I own a 2023 Hybrid Platinum Tundra I don’t know what to expect?! It’s the same engine.
@herlindorocha8938 no it will stay at the same mileage as you took it in. I am sure there will be a note of some sort showing the mileage when the engine was swapped on carfax. I am surprised they haven't recalled the hybrids. I have a feeling they may only recall the regular ones because of "safety" but only do the hybrids if they decide to let go. I hope not but you can never really know
Been there before lol 😅😂
Unfortunately it's about every other day for me! Haha
Someone besides Toyota will pay for 102,000 brand-new engines. What happens to the old ones? Shipped to India and salvaged? I sure hope THAT will not be the case. But ...
Yeah I wonder if they will pass the blame off. I keep hearing they are going to destroy them. I wish I could keep mine but that won't happen
I have a 2022 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition with 26,000 miles with no engine issues so far. I did get a notification of possible engine failure.
I just turned over 34k today on mine!
It’s just a piece of junk get rid of it
If it break after warranty, it will cost 30 plus to fix it , don't worry you got money
I would drive the original engine till it blows, then get the new one. It’s a safety recall so they will honor it forever
I hope that's what they will allow me to do!
I’ve got a 2022 with 49,000 miles with no issues. I have received a letter from Toyota and it does say a total engine replacement.
I have been happy with this truck. I really can't complain
Toyota could’ve done the right thing by building a quality truck in the first place.
This is THEE BEST pin for all people new to pinball to get introduced to playing it. The objectives are clear & simple, as are the lights & locks. I only wish the Tasmanian would spin as fast as the reel on Jaws. (It’s also funny to know the identical table is used for the goriest game ever made). 😂 GREAT footage!!
Hahaha it is a fabulous game. I really like Luke Peter's rules. He also did Scooby and to me, they are very challenging but yet very easy to understand and do.
Would you please look oon the door frame sticker and see the date it was made? My son also has a 2023 and it was made in the third week of February, 2023. Just curious. He hasn't received a recall notice yet but may get one.
As soon as I get back in just a bit I will let you know. I want to say it was made October 2022 but not certain.
October 2022 is the build
@@LivingwithCable Thank you!
@@garymeyer3294 you are welcome!
The failure mode on these engines is the front main bearing AFAIK. Your bearing metals are very very low, so this suggests your engine is OK.
They’re doing a recall go for the long block now you start all over With the mileage part on your engine
It’s a sad day for Toyota when owners have to do this
It's a recall. Exercise your recall right if the engine ever blows up...until then drive it.
The tests get expensive And really proves nothing.
Dope. Now make my stand die.
No comprende no hablo ingles
I have done oil analysis for 40 years. Silver should be zero, unless the spectrum line Blackstone is using has an overlap from another metal. Hopefully Toyota wasn't stupid and used silver in the bearing material.
I have been trying tofind out for sure what materials are used in the bearings. I don't think it's from bearing wear but until I get a definitive answer on what is used, it's hard to say. I am curious as to what the next analysis will show.
you will be fine ❤ 100% guaranteed
Mever buy the first yr
I would say that but I bought a 2007 Tundra new and that truck was great. I would still have it if I hadn't hit a deer and totalled it.
I have a2022 no problems 30.000 just wind noise 😫
I have been lucky, I don't seem to have wind noise
I have a 23 Platinum tundra with about the same mileage. No issues yet .Just got my notice to swap out for a brand new engine!!
I think we are starting to see the wave of notices. I think it will be interesting to see how the go about scheduling and executing it. That's a lot of engines! Good luck on your journey!
$495 for cheap window tint
Yeah these windows tint prices are absurd. Of course the last time I had my windows tinted was 2007 but back then it was $150 for really good tint. Actually that tint was still on the truck in 2022 when it got totalled. Still was in great shape.
The debris probably isn't the lose stuff floating around. It's half-ass machining parts breaking off the inside of the galleys later on. When the pieces decide to break off from the sloppy work is what decides when your engine blows. It'll be interesting if Toyota goes beyond the warranty. They don't stand behind all their lemons. I found that out with my 2020 Camry I bought new. It was the worst car I've ever owned. Toyota saying all the problems were normal wasn't a fix for that piece of junk.
Man I hate that! I am only on my second Toyota and both have been Tundras. Can't complain with either one. I haven't had good luck with Chevys and the Ford I bought I liked it until I started to tow with it. Worst towing truck I have had.
@@LivingwithCable I hope Toyota comes to their senses and starts putting a proven V8 and transmission back in the Tundra. Maybe even bring back the old Tacoma with dependable parts. I couldn't believe when I read about the standard transmission breaking apart. Seems like everything Toyota is making is falling apart now. Toyota has joined the ranks of a overpriced Ford, Chevy and Dodge.
@OnlyMeee-ie3dw I do wish they still had the 5.7. I can only hope to have the luck out of this one as my old 5.7. Although this recall is pretty major, haha. Unfortunately I believe it's due to the workforce we have. People don't have pride and care anymore and the "it's not my job" mentality.
@@OnlyMeee-ie3dw Toyota is not gonna go backwards. (Lessons learn about the engine. I’m sure they’re gonna take a new approach on these machine parts and hopefully wash out the block real good or whatever the protocol is to do so.)
@@user-vh9hs4qe7r Toyota started going backwards in 2018 with the Camry. It was one of the most complained about cars on the road. Toyota wouldn't try to fix that crappy 8-speed until they were sued. And now they put it in the Tacoma, made in Mexico, and having the same transmission problems. On top of that, the standard transmission in the Tacoma has pieces breaking off and drive train components snapping under light loads. Toyota is defiantly going backwards while pushing the accelerator.
May I ask what 0W-20 brand oil you are using? You want the viscosity at 100c to be closer to 10. Yours is fairly low at 6.47. I use Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 in my Toyota and my Blackstone analysis comes back consistently around 8-to-9.
@jamesplotkin4674 I will have to find out from the dealer. I am still under Toyota Care so they have been doing all of my oil changes. I want to say they use Mobil but I need to verify
@@LivingwithCable if we start at the dealership, I was told they use mobile one even the car care nut guy says the same thing mobile one
Nice video! Thanks for sharing this info and your experience. I appreciate your perspective. 👍
@c.a.r.s.carsandrelevantspecs thank you and you are welcome!
Been waiting on this! It’s like the movie premier
Waiting for this
Wait no longer! Haha
Why would anyone waste their money on a Tundra. You can buy a real truck for less
@@jamesavakian4977 what do you consider a real truck?
@jamesavakian4977 I have owned Chevys and Fords before. When it comes to half ton trucks, in real life scenarios the Tundra performs better than any of them. It tows trailers better than any other. Sure it probably gets the worst fuel mileage out of all but I didn't buy a truck for fuel mileage.
Pinball is awesome, always liked it and wish I had a machine in house(I play on playstation but there is nothing Like the real thing😎👌)got to play abunch of pinball games in Rhode Island at this free lay arcade(like 20 tables)even had black night and getaway which were classic before my time but I played them on the Williams and stern games. Jaws and the iron maiden tables were my favorite 👏
It is and is addicting! I wish we had a free play place closer to us. I would like to open a free play arcade up one day.
You get a brand new engine that's great
Once they start working on the truck tho the truck is ruined so glad you're happy about this but better off with a new 2025 at this point. 100,000 vehicles plus affected is not that big a number Toyota produces this many Rav 4s in less than 3 Months.
Always positive. We need more people like you men.
I try to be! Too much negativity in this world!
My dealer has a lifetime powertrain warranty so
Yeah I have one too from a third party that the dealer included. Not sure how good it really is but who knows, I may eventually find out.
Check with your Toyota dealer and make an appointment to get your engine replaced or you can wait till your engine goes south and leaves you in the middle of nowhere and then call your dealer and make an appointment to get your engine replaced.
Nowhere in your vlog do you state what year your Tundra is. Without knowing the model year of your truck for reference, your vlog is of no interest to this first time viewer and owner of a 2022.
I did add it to the description!
@@LivingwithCable thanks
Thank you!
@@LivingwithCable BTW- You gotta new sub. Much success to your channel.
Thank you! I am trying and learning! I have to slow myself down!
I got a 2022 platinum, I'm at 34k miles, haven't had any problems, I'm on the same boat as you! Just gonna wait to see whats gonna happen.
@@rubenarciniega10 I kinda hope they let me keep driving it for a good while before installing a new motor.
I've been selling tires on the service lane at a Toyota dealership for over 1 year now and I haven't seen one come in with any problems yet. I do believe I have heard a few say they were there for a recall notice but no engine replacements that I have seen in the shop yet. I haven't even seen or read a recall letter from anyone regarding this.
I am curious to what the actual number of people who have had a legitimate issue is. I did see a post with a letter to managers but that could have been photoshopped but I did read it on Toyota website under newsroom.
Yeah, the recall notice left Plano, Texas ( Dallas ) on 30 May 2024. I guess news travels slowly in your part of the world.
@SpicyRok7482 the recall was then but there was no fix until July 25th
@@LivingwithCable That makes sense. I'm going to keep my eyes and ears open on this and respond back if I get any updates.
Awesome!
Houdini and Legend's Of Valhalla are the 2 best from American. Not a fan of Galactic Tank Force
I really like Houdini. Yeah I didn't care too much for Galatic. I really want them to succeed, but man they are making it hard.
@@LivingwithCable nope I agree the two games I listed definitely are the two best
@@LivingwithCable they are the best looking the best playing and I get they wanted to finish Barry's game but not a big fan of that and galactic tank force is okay at best they need to go back and do what they were doing before with Houdini and Valhalla I wanted Hot Wheels to be better white roller coaster tycoon I've played all that stuff I like your Looney tunes I have a Bugs Bunny Birthday bash that I made look like that with the orange love Scooby-Doo and technically if I was going to buy another game other than the 90s Data East stuff I would definitely buy alien because that's the best value in pinball right now that and cactus canyon
@Pitbull0669 in my opinion, they should have done Barry's game as a one of one last tribute and not turned it into a production game. I am curious to see how the sales are on it.
@Pitbull0669 Alien is a good deal! It looks pretty dang awesome too! I agree, they need to step back and regroup
Great video! I am new to the hobby and got John Wick Pro as my first machine. I wasn't willing to drop the extra money for a premium so i'm super glad the pro is just as good as the premium. I've had it for a few days in my house and absolutely love it.
Thank you! Welcome to the hobby! I really enjoyed the Pro. I remember when I bought my Willy Wonka, I couldn't justify going up to a Limited or Collectors! By the way, be careful, these things multiply fast!
Thanks for another pinball review. I'm still waiting on my Looney Tunes CE with butter cabinet. Morgan from Spooky said I will probably get my machine in the fall. So looking forward to it. Also, I just wanted to let everyone know out there. I actually did an unannounced visit to Spooky Pinball, and Luke Peters took some time to show me around and even let me play some pinball on a Looney Tunes machine that was in production. He was super nice. Spooky Pinball company is great. I've heard them say many times on their vidios how they love their customers, and they really do mean it. Morgan Emery on the phone was also really nice as well.
You are welcome! I bet the trip to Spooky was awesome! I am going to eventually make the trip! The butter is so dang gorgeous! It needs to be out in the open to truly appreciate it. I spoke with Bug a good bit at the show. If you watch his livestreams, he is just like that in person. No fake persona.
Let Toyota engineers explain their problems is like asking the USA Secret Service explain what happens with Trump assassination …
Hahaha good point
Amazon used to be the greatest customer service and they were the epitome of professional but now they’re just crap. I’ve already canceled my subscription two times. I think I’m about to cancel it a third and final time.
It doesn't surprise me. On my front door there is a sign 10" x 14" that says, _"ALL DELIVERIES TO THE BACK DOOR"_ with an Arrow pointing towards my back door (inside a screened porch). About four feet from the door on the outside wall of my house is an Identical sign except that it is 18" x 24" I finally have most of the Amazon delivery people trained~ it took a year, but UPS and Fed-EX are horrible.
Only had this issue with Amazon. Really it has only been this once so I am not sure if it was a new driver or what. They do seem to change often. It wouldn't be a big issue but there is only 2 of us that work here and we have issues with thefts around here.Heck we just had a shooting next door at the gas station earlier
I hope you take these comments seriously and as a lesson. Most people don't care about someone else's perspective on issues like this. Lots of Amazon drivers having to deal with surprise dogs or people pissed that they're in the back of their property despite a sign or in app request to put it in the back. Put photos of the back if you put it in the app so people know.
I might be dumb, But isn’t that the side of the property? 🥺 I’d be confused too, I walked to the right then see a fenced up area. 😅
I mean the FedEx and UPS drivers have never had an issue. Technically, the side is the wall on the right with the steps and other walkin door and roll.
Is Amazon the only place where we buy things 😅
They are the only ones that my wife buys from! They also are the only ones that you are not sure if it will be delivered in the mailbox, in the street or where it suppose to be! Hahaha
