They have made no confirmation one way or another on whether or not they're planning on closing down the 32bit servers. If they are, it probably won't happen for a while. We'll get more information on their plans in a Q&A they'll do some time next month. Until then we are left in the dark. This is pure speculation but I can honestly see them closing the 32bit servers in due time. That may be in months, or years. But I feel like it's coming. That may sound bad, but in actuality it would make the remaining servers feel more active as the playerbase condenses. But until this happens, they're just spreading out the playerbase even more thinly than before and risking the 32bit servers becoming a ghost town in the process. The actual rollout to 64bit is a good thing and long overdue. Additional quality of life updates in the near future sounds great too! But honestly the only reason people talk about that feeling of more players and a bigger community as you mentioned is purely down to those servers are legendary servers which have a hard level cap, everyone's in the same areas questing so naturally it's going to feel busier.

When people start transfering from old servers to new 64 bit servers, they will die very fast. No matter how good community can be, legendary servers die very very fast when SSG open transfers

Eh. The quality of lotro's story is really hit and miss. I kinda want to do a deep dive about it, something that would take actual effort to make but also give some informative takes on the story in a way that isn't just blindly praising the game. So to that end, I ask you... What issues do you find with the Song of Waves and Wind quests?

@@Grotmaggot The story was good enough until the last bit in near harad, when gandalf arrives and send people to gather an army and they come back inmediatly, and at the end you go back to the city and Gandalf follows you in an instant, considering how far Umbar and the other places are it really brakes all the inmersion, I understand lotro works with a "frozen timeline" but making it so "on the nose" disregards the scale of the map greatly, feels like everyone uses swift travel lol. The lore of the DEI elves being Avari and all was acceptable (the best possible excuse for really) and the Gigachad orcs were a clever idea, good lore. And I agree that lotro is really hit and miss when we are talking about stories, but this particular chapter feels super odd. PD: You make the greatest lotro videos, good memes PD 2: Yeah and Scenario is really the GOAT, the new zones are quite good

@@andresbarriganicholls9853 Thanks for the take. This is useful for me. I've been quietly jotting down notes on what I find fair to critique with lotro. Considering one of this game's strongest suits is the IP, I find it very fair to rip into the story where it matters. Just gotta make sure my bases are covered. Together, our memes will bring lotro into a new golden era. We just need to believe :^)
