Exploring an Underground Tunnel Complex in Cavtat, Croatia
Переглядів 1,3 тис.2 роки тому
Exploring an abandoned underground tunnel complex at the historical port town of Cavtat, Croatia, on the Adriatic coast near Dubrovnik. It’s a real labyrinth inside, and kind of creepy when you're alone and get lost! Is it a relic of the Communist era? Or a leftover from World War 2? There are lots of remains of coastal fortifications nearby, bunkers and gun emplacements pointing out to sea.

There are a couple of submarine stories involving transfer of atomic technology from Germany. I 52 was sunk on it's way to Germany with two tons of gold on board to exchange for uranium and other technology. Another U boat with technology and scientists on board was hunted and sunk in the Pacific if I'm not getting fiction and fact mixed.

I learned this to fight against Spain. At that time, Spain was increasing the number of Christians in Asia, causing rebellion and invasion. Japan had no worries because it had a powerful military, but if China, which had ten times the population, was invaded and turned its troops against Japan, the survival of the country was at risk. So they tried to invade China first. Proof of this is that Spain's Armada withdrew around the time it was defeated by Britain and could no longer devote its resources to Asia.

No the Germans were looking into nuclear fission, there was no progress in producing a bomb, only vague theories by 1945. Likewise the Japanese had no weapons research, just laboritory work. The weaponizing of atomic energy was a project in the UK called Tube Alloys. This was passed to the US and a joint project was initiated in 1941 by the UK, US and Canada to build a bomb, later called the Manhattan Project.

I've often wondered if the invasion still would have happened if Oda Nobunaga hadn't been assassinated. Was his talk of invading China hyperbole or unrealistic? If he'd taken the longer route of conquering Japan military rather than diplomatically, would Japan be strong enough to invade? Would Nobunaga's tolerance and appreciation of western technology have granted him the ships and cannons to defeat Korea's admiral Yi (who is credited as the one man most responsible for thwarting the invasion)? Ultimately, history is _what happened,_ not what you wanted to happen or believe should have happened... yet a large part of appreciating history is understanding just how significant certain events are, and the consequences thereof.

It is incomparable with the Spanish in America: the Incas did not know gunpowder, the Ming had cannons and they even chased away the Portuguese incursions on the continent and the Dutch on Formosa. The Ming later lost to the Manchus, due to their economics and inability to pay soldiers, as well as the betrayal of some who opened the Northern Gate .

The building house American cyclotrons was ONE Square mile in size used one seventh of all American electrical power.

It's fucking laughable how the Japanese Korean and Chinese always fight for who is superior who is better at fighting blah blah blah. Why don't everyone just shut the fuck up. Look at the 3 countries today. 1) China is a shithole now because of communism, sure there's a lot of rich people but completely lost its culture, while the rest 90% of the country is still dead poor. Confucius what? Next to no morality. Taiwan is what a democratic China would look like, too bad it's so small it is insignificant and forever will be. 2) Japanese people, fuck your own pride. You got fucked by the Americans in the most embarrassing way. ALL Of your aircraft carriers were destroyed by the Americans.. ALL of them... You make cell phones the entire time, yet it is apple who changed the cell phone industry, a company that never made cell phones, this should be an embarrassment to your own ingenuity and creativity, just like how you wanted to fight America using conventional warfare when you were destroyed by 2 nuke bombs your emperor barely had time to react. You tried to invade the mainland thousands of times throughout history and you fail each and every time. They say a smart person only make a mistake once. Seems like your race is extremely dumb because you keep making the same mistake for a thousand times. That level of stubbornness is borderline retardation. 3) Korea, sorry to say but without north korea united, you are also insignificant in this world except for some entertainment, and that is only because you copy black people better than other Asians. Your government, still, cannot make a single decision without the influence of America. And from what I understand, the government is still corrupt as fuck. The only good thing that happened to you is Christianity, and that is not even an Asian thing. SO how is Asia great right now? It' s a slave to the western nations. It is divided, it is confused, and there's absolute no alliance between Asian nations. This is so dumb. Do you know how strong Asia could be if the powers in place just learned how to unite and work with each other? Europe has the European union, what the fuck does Asia have? Just a bunch of stupid people hating on each other for some stupid shit that happened a few thousands of years ago. Let's move on please, any more lingering of preexisting hate is an embarrassment to the entire Asian race..

I am very sorry, because Kitano is a highly talented man, but this film is an empty nihilist creatur made by an ill soul. It seems that Japan is before a complete desaster because can not learn from it's valuable sacral past, complete cut from it's mighty tradicion. It is a horrible massage about the declane of the whole western globalist Empire lead by USA, what is like Sodome and Gomorrah and it's fate will be the same, aswell.
