I find it helpful to hum the song first, while trying to do the very fast strumming. Good way to transition into singing the lyrics.

Have you done tutorials on these songs? I would love to learn them!

All sound great. Hard to pick one The aNueNue does seem a little brighter. But you can’t go wrong with an Ohana. Love hearing you play. What was the second song you played ?

Kelly, I have listened to the three of them a number of times. In all honesty I would be hard pressed to choose my favourite. However, the Anuenue C4 is my pick. When I started my Ukulele journey with my significant other, purchased B&M Tenors Solid Spruce and Solid Koa tops, laminated sides and bottoms. Still play them both but much prefer the tone of the B&M Koa that Hubby uses. ;-) Upgraded eventually to Ohana TK- 35G-5-string Ohana CK-35G-5-string Ohana CK-35G All solid build mahogany.

All are wonderful. I like the Anuenue best. Sound more resonant.

i messed up on the sledge hammer was using the top string for my up strum instead of bottom string LOL figured that out today. Now have to retrain my brain!

Hi, Kelly very good with the chord melody. An this ANUENUE seems outstanding. Mhhm im a bit skeptical because with the slotted Headstock, i prefer the normal one due to personal experience.

Rats. Just took “the leap” and bought an Oscar Schmidt based on a video. Haven’t even tried to play an instrument for 40 years. And that was me “strumming up” because I just flipped my brothers garage sale acoustic guitar because I’m lefty. No lessons. Just the Roy Clark boot (❤) and a wicked case of ADD. Now I want to string inverse so that my picking hand is still my dominant as I recognize that’s important on a banjolele and I’d rather re-learn and convert the cords for my right hand and get the picking/strumming correct. Love your style. Subbed.

I just cant get that strumming. Keep breaking in to island strum. Do I have the number of beats wrong?
