You can buy the specific type HP fluid outside of the dealership too on rockauto under brands Beck/Arnley, Idemitsu, and Aisin. By the way that clunk you feel from reverse to drive is due to a failing $2 o-ring deep in the transmission. It’s pretty much an issue on every transmission for this car from 2002-2008. Unfortunately it’s a big job to access it so it’s better to just live with it. Anywho, great video!

Why cant the gear alone be replaced? If the wheels are otherwise good, why not just replace the gear. Gear Part number 115-4666. Also is there an alignment issue that is causing uneven wear? Shouldn't that be addressed.

What exactly is not as good in terms of ride? Are they stiffer? I wonder if you replaced the old springs into this FCS assembly if it would be any better. I'm hearing the springs in these are too stiff perhaps that's the problem

There is a wheel lock that will lock a back wheel when I go to turn the mower 180degrees. Is there a way to disable that?

Great how to video thanks. The only issue I have is that if you got the filter off amazon and not the dealer you probably got a clone and not a real OEM. If it's a lot cheaper then the dealer chances are it's not a real OEM part. It may look the same but is not. Amazon is not to be trusted with after market auto parts. Sorry.

I did FCS on a Ford Edge.... One of the struts makes a noise on big turns... but overall OK. I got some more for a different car. The ride is OK, and the price is right.

Like other people have commented, your son is too young to understand the concept of this type of vehicle. I've had mine for almost 4 years now and have not had to replace replace near the parts you've had to. Of course I don't have a 4 or 5 year old to tear it up.

2024 and i just got one and put in bare minimum upgrades so far and its a very capable rc crawler so far ive put in less money than other rc cars stock and its already out preforming the more expensive options so i have to say i dissagree and i would recomend to anyone who is just getting into it and dont want to spend an arm and leg but have a capable crawler

I think the sport was for people to have fun and then blow money on parts that’s went bad lol I’d rather just get the pro axles tho at the same time and put them on the sport I have been super rough on mine and I’ve pulled my daughter around behind it on a roller board so it’s definitely strong but gotta have a few plastic parts swapped to metal but the front axles are the biggest pain I’ve had no doubt

I’ve got a 15 crv and was leaning towards saving up to get KYB struts and reusing my factory springs with new Honda strut mounts but a complete of FCS will only set me back 275 bucks on rock auto.

Thanks man. Having issues with my Briggs and Stratton 1022, the belt keeps slipping while throwing snow. I'm going to give the 4pk945 belt a whirl. It seems like the OEM belt i have, Part no: 709868 is way too loose. I can slide it on the pulley with ease.

My eBay coil did NOT work and I had to replace it with the Stihl coil- runs great now!

That filter is now $48.99 on Amazon.

Do you remember how long the mounting screws were? I'm using a different style plate that didn't come with screws.

This works great! I took an old .005 feeler gauge leaf and used it to replace a broken reed valve on my compressor (Cal Air charges about $39 for one). Once it was all back together, I also replaced the air filters assemblies (found them online at amazon, 2 for $8.99) which were broken off and missing. All of the sudden my compressor was quiet and my compressor was compressing and the easy-start valve snapped shut almost immediately! Thank you so much for the idea. I did not try to shape the end of the reed valve round, just cut it square. Thanks again!

With the right gearing you could run car lawn cart tires on a Maxx it's the only car you can run almost any tire on

I watched a video on upgraded the rear shocks on my widemaxx to the shocks off of a sledge. Made a world of difference. Instead of washers making a 10mm standoff inside the shock body. I used fuel tubing instead. The standoff is really needed if you upgrade to the metal cvd's like I did.
