Installed mine but hear a clunking noise over bumps. All the suspension is new and torque specs verified except the pre-assembled top bolt on the struts. How are yours holding?
@@engrxtn i found out by watching a how to change rear shocks video for my car. They tell you what to do. You just compress the shocks couple times. The fronts arent so easy so you just put them in ur car and wait for the gases and oils to mix while driving
gases and oils in a shock never mix. actually do some research on how shocks and struts are made. gas and oil in a shock will always be separated by the floating piston inside the shock@@fabtube7177
I did FCS on a Ford Edge.... One of the struts makes a noise on big turns... but overall OK. I got some more for a different car. The ride is OK, and the price is right.
What exactly is not as good in terms of ride? Are they stiffer? I wonder if you replaced the old springs into this FCS assembly if it would be any better. I'm hearing the springs in these are too stiff perhaps that's the problem
I’ve got a 15 crv and was leaning towards saving up to get KYB struts and reusing my factory springs with new Honda strut mounts but a complete of FCS will only set me back 275 bucks on rock auto.

You forgot to mix the gases and oils before installation. Im sure it will go away
@@fabtube7177 i’ve never heard of this before when replacing shocks/struts. Did you do it in the video to see how?

@@fabtube7177 interesting!! Thank you buddy!!! Yeah the front with the springs would be impossible

Hey, I'm thinking of buying a couple of these FCS shocks, are they any good??
No, I used them on my Legacy and they knock more than the stock ones pulled off.
