I watched a video on upgraded the rear shocks on my widemaxx to the shocks off of a sledge. Made a world of difference. Instead of washers making a 10mm standoff inside the shock body. I used fuel tubing instead. The standoff is really needed if you upgrade to the metal cvd's like I did.
Awesome. I'm getting some Traxxas paddles as well. I'm geared at 20/54 gearing now as I run E-revo 2.0 talons now. Looking forward to the snow to see how the paddies do 😁
I dropped the pinion to a 20 tooth pinion. Haven’t had any over heating but it’s been super cold and the lipo batteries only last half as long in the cold.

With the right gearing you could run car lawn cart tires on a Maxx it's the only car you can run almost any tire on
Did you gear yours down? If so what tooth count to prevent overheating?

I don’t have the money to spend on new tires so I made myself some tire chains.
Do you have a video? I'm thinking some zip ties would also work.
Honestly don’t need paddle tires I tried it in the snow and it rarely got stuck
You are right, you don't need them. They sure are fun though.
None of this is about Need!!!!!
