@@carkrazy8597 I had installed a big pressure horn / Skoda / Creta type horn for that had kept a separate button, currently that horn is my main horn and on main horn pad so now that button is useless

Hardly 2-3 pulls, you don't have to constantly drive in 2nd gear just redline in 2nd gear 2-3 times that's it, by doing that your car will reach optimum heat level

No issues faced as such, mileage will go very down if you are driving with a heavy foot with this installed, acceleration and peak power increased and you feel it in high rpm range, NVH more or less the same, lag while picking up car from very low speed is totally gone now super smooth acceleration especially while picking up car after crossing speed breaker in 2nd gear no need to downshift to 1st easily picks up with AC on Turbo kicks in very quickly bcz of this ECU

@@daninwheels1006 thanks for your response.Did you get a chance to drive in hillstations & uphill roads? A friend was complaining of inconsistent/weird power/torque delivery in uphill roads in his ecu upgraded Polo GT.Did you come across any such instance?

@@jayaprasanthcg There's a big problem with Altroz's accelerator pedal, it does not take response of our leg pressed, so especially in hills if you own an Altroz Diesel you need to be careful if there is a sharp turn it's better to be already in power range or else the rpm drops and when you press the accelerator pedal fully then suddenly car responds and then you either get way too much power or else wheels spin, as I'm owning my Altroz from a good 3.5 years or more so I know exactly how to drive it in hills but a new owner will surely struggle, when I see a sharp turn in hills I immediately drop a gear and keep the rpms high

@@jayaprasanthcg Note: Car is not under powered but accelerator pedal response is absolutely shit, like my older Diesel Tata Indigo had such a beautiful accelerator pedal it was a pleasure to drive on hills but this Altroz is not that great in hills once you get the hang of the pedal then you can enjoy the drive in hills

You are right I'm a car enthusiast myself, that being said I do have knowledge about cars and atleast about my own car if not for all cars, I just did my 3 free services from TATA which are done within the first year of car purchase after that the next time I did service that time I put Shell fully synthetic oil which was done around 23k kms and now my car has done 33k kms exactly 10k from the last oil change and I'm still going to run it 5k more before next oil change, at next oil change as well I'll first do a complete engine flush to remove all the sticky dirt that gets collected inside engine chamber and then again put Shell fully synthetic engine oil, my coolant is always topped up so my car absolutely stays relaxed in this 40 degree heat as well

At 40k kms mark I'm planning to change my tyres and upgrade to Continental UC6 195/60/R16 and also brand new brake pads

@@daninwheels1006 oh bro bang on, I have this Shell pump near my home and I get the oil change done there. I go semi synthetic because where I live the temperature stays 10-35 degrees Celsius.. year round. About the tyres mine have done 19k only but they look like they will do at least 60k before even looking like they need to be changed. Roads have gotten better. I like your point.. tc

@@Betelgeusewaitforit Good for you bro that roads are better, here in Mumbai roads are not that great, plus I drive with a heavy foot so you know hard acceleration and hard braking causing tyres to wear out quickly, also if you notice I've changed by alloys around 3 years ago so the stock tyres are just a bit narrow for these alloys so my ride quality has become very bad, now that I'm used to it from many years but as soon as I sit in my friend's Altroz or he sits in mine the difference is noticeable, so I said that I'll upgrade tyre size for a smooth and silent ride

Rs. 7500 and already painted in gloss black +500 for installation so totally Rs. 8000/-

As per my understanding and experience if you don't use Altroz diesel regularly it won't make any issues, but when you are driving it if you drive it too slowly like a petrol car then you'll definitely get dpf filter clogging issue as your car's exhaust will not get hot enough to get the accumulated carbon heated up and evaporate in water vapour form

I've been owning my Altroz diesel for almost 4 years now and driven only 32k kms bcz my car was standing without running for 2 years due to wfh, believe me not even a single time I faced dpf issue never ever, bcz while driving I try to give it hard acceleration 2-3 times that heats up the exhaust system properly avoiding dpf issues

Yes definitely if you install this ECU and put it on the P1 mode which is Med Performance mode then the rpm rise is super smooth as well as lets say you are crossing a speed breaker but haven't shifted to 1st gear and continuing in 2nd gear itself then rpm will quickly rise up giving you almost no Turbo lag feel, overall your car will feel lot more responsive and lighter / quicker on accelerator inputs

Approx 10-15 bhp and 30-40 nm torque

Yes the accelerator pedal delay feeling is still there but the initial rpm is higher by around 300-400 rpm so let's say you approach a speed breaker and go to first gear, before installing this ECU my Altroz Diesel used to have a super shitty and sluggish pickup and then suddenly it used to go like rocket, now after installing this if I keep my car in P1 mode i.e Med Performance mode then the transition from lower rpm to higher rpm is very smooth but also quick no lag feeling

No bro no warranty issue as there is no power cutting and anyway my car is 3.5 years old so my warranty period is over

Bro I know super busy with work, but sooner another video will be put regarding tyres, just merely managing to record a video in this busy schedule even this above video was shot in October 2023 and posting it now

It has nothing to do with warranty sir, you are just removing / unplugging the couplers you are not cutting any wires so don't worry. I've been using my Altroz with those couplers removed for over 3 years now everything works perfectly fine and my car does not honk if pressure applied on bonnet while cleaning car or anything.

Oh sorry to hear this, but if you've faced this issue 3 times then definitely something is wrong with your car please get it checked thoroughly

Pass wires below gear box packing, it has lot of space to pass thick wires it's actually 5-10 mins work, if not able to do then let your local mechanic do it

Bhai left side passenger door hai uska agar tum door padding open karoge toh uske niche sab speakers ka cable hai usme BassTube connect karlo, mene bhi vesa hu kiya hai

High Beam 120 watts Low Beam 75 watts and Fog also 75 watts so total 120+150=270 watts and using them for like 2 years no issues at all and no load on battery as well

@@gogglebaba09 Mere hisabse 1st deal is better as kms done is 49000 car will be obviously in better condition mechanically, mene meri vali 2017 1.0L AGS (Auto Gear) mene 3.20 mai sell ki and it had done only 36000 kms and it was in top notch condition also had installed brand new Yokohama Earth-1 tyres on it just 2000 kms before selling so I feel aap 1st vala deal done kardo but price negotiate karo 3.50 is too much for a car 7 years old 3 ya max 3.10-15 mai try karo, obviously car ki condition dekhlo esa nah ho ki engine acha hai but baki car ekdum ghatiya unmaintained nikle

We are exchanging our manual wagon r 2018 sec owner 51k km done with automatic 2017 first owner 49k km done. And he is taking no extra money. Is it worth?? Or shall I pay 1.5 lakhs for new wagon r 1.2 2019 72k kn done. After exchange of my old one??

@@gogglebaba09 Technically a lesser kms done car will anytime be better but make sure the car he is exchanging is properly working fine but why would he exchange his automatic with a manual transmission, make sure to take a test drive check all electronics if they are working fine and ask him firmly why he wants to exchange his car and if you feel everything is clear no false information shared then go for it, save yourself that 1.5 lakhs might need to use it somewhere else

Yes if you have a hatchback or premium hatchback like i20, Altroz, Jazz, Tiago, i10 Nios, Figo, WagonR etc then 8 inch is more than enough, you get a proper thumping bass and vibration from the Basstube and as it's only 8 inches so you literally have like 85% of usable space in your boot left for luggage

As far as I know all modern cars are tested a lot during production so it's absolutely fine to redline your car once in a day, as your car is new don't actually redline it very harshly but just bring it close to redline don't hit the redline or rev limiter mark as engine still needs good 2.5k-3k kms to set in properly

But do drive it normally giving it hard acceleration sometimes and sometimes smooth acceleration, sometimes heavy load like climbing slopes etc as when engine will get used to all types of load so in future it'll always give you good mileage and power

Yes there is visible dust inside my headlights compartment but it's not that much that it'll hinder my lights performance it's just lill bit visible if you stand really close to it and see

Bro I've using my car this way from past 3.5 years and there is no issue with boot, my boot door locks absolutely fine and properly, no matter how much forcefully you pull the sensor with time it'll again settle down and in 2-3 months you'll again have the same issue

@@daninwheels1006 just try opening the boot once after locking the car with a single beep sound. The boot will open even without the key

@@kanishkgunsola3190 If the boot door is shut properly the car doesn't do single beep bro, I've researched enough on this before uploading video and that's what I'm saying I've been using it this way for past 3 years or more and I have no issues with boot door or any other door being not locked even when I lock my car with key or the request sensor

I've had enough visits at the service center in my early ownership days when car was new, honestly I stopped getting bothered by it and now when you asked me this again I just realised that my car doesn't rattle from left side door anymore rather it rattles from everywhere else 🤣😂 due to bad broken Mumbai roads

Jokes apart I saw a video long back somewhere in which a person explained that the rattling sound is actually your battery touching/rubbing your cars metal body portion inside engine bay area and if you put a padding in between those two parts then the rattling should stop, Tata service center guys tell some nonsense about door sound updation every time you go to SC but that will surely not help you as it didn't help me as well, let me see if I'm able to find that video and I'll paste the video link here

My car was done with 3 services. I informed service center in every service regarding this ratting noise and no one really cared. It is really disappointing to see a minor issue which is always overlooked by service centers.
