    Bro, i have booked altroz zx plus diesel , but now i scared after watching DPF issues vidios, kindly suggest me that it is really a big issue, when we drive on hills, where speed is restricted..and in normally driving, this issue can trouble me.

      No bro don't be scared at all, you can watch my some of other videos especially a video named "How To Drive To Avoid DPF Issues" you'll get an idea on how to drive to avoid dpf issues

      I am owning Diesel Altroz XZ(O) from August 2020 and I didn't get dpf issue even a single time and believe me my car just sits in my parking from Monday to Friday and runs only on weekends hence completed only 12k kms in 1 year 8 months of owning it, just drive it properly and you'll never get dpf issues and even if you get then it'll take lot of time like after 20-25k kms, I stay in Mumbai traffic is horrible over here, so if I can avoid dpf issues then anybody can

    Bro atlroz ka petrol ka tyre size 195 55 r16 h, lekin diesel ka 185 60 r16 hai, it means dono ka allow size same hai lekin tyre size ka khel hai na?

    • @daninwheels1006
      @daninwheels1006  2 роки тому

      Yes right kyuki Petrol ka weight kam hai so rubber ka contact patch thoda jyada diya hai so it is 195(this is tyre thickness) and Diesel ka weight jyada hai so naturally it'll put more pressure on tyre so uska thickness 185 diya hai and also thoda bada tyre hai at 60 (this is tyre size or you can say extra rubber)

    • @daninwheels1006
      @daninwheels1006  2 роки тому

      So basically Petrol ka tyre Mota hai (horizontally) and Diesel ka tyre Bada hai (vertically)

      @@daninwheels1006 so in diesel we can automatically upgrade to 195 55 r16 without emerging any problems

      @@deerghayuphukan1215 Yes absolutely we can infact next time when I'm going to change tyres I'm going to put 205/60 R16 (Nexon Diesel tyres)

    But what about the tyre profile bro?
    For example- the stock tyre profile of Altroz is 185/60 so even if we install aftermarket alloys of the same rim size i.e 16 inch rims can we decrease the profile of the alloys down to suppose 185/55 or 50 and will it have any effects?

    • @daninwheels1006
      @daninwheels1006  2 роки тому +1

      I would never suggest to decrease the tyre profile for obvious reason that given the shitty Indian road condition, a low profile tyre will for sure burst when you go through a deep and sharp pot hole, still if you want to change tyre profile then yes you'll end up having more planted feel at high speeds but again small road bumps will be felt really hard inside and will surely affect ride quality, simply it'll be less comfortable

      Thank you so much bro your videos cleared all my doubts. My family is planning to buy Nexon Dark edition but confused to pick between petrol or diesel. Honestly I test drove both and the petrol Nexon is not exciting to drive at all it feels quite dull inspite having so much power as on paper (120ps @170nm torque) but on the other hand its diesel counterpart is completely different and the diesel Nexon is in a league of its own but because of DPF problems that so many people are facing nowadays I am a bit skeptical whether to go for the diesel or not even though my heart goes out for the diesel and since our running is kind of mixed as sometimes it's less and sometimes its quite a lot but your video on dpf cleared all my doubts and thanks a lot again.
      Also will you make a video in future if any dpf related issue occurs?

      @@BatrickPateman001 I'm glad that my videos helped you so much and gave you a clear view of what to choose, for sure as soon as I get dpf issue I'll try to make a video on it honestly I'm not bluffing that I didn't get dpf issue even once bcz I do drive my Diesel Altroz with heavy foot so I don't think dpf issue will occur in my car but let's see as soon as I see it I'll make a video on it, also important Note : I'm WFH from 2020 itself when I bought my car since then my car only runs on weekends hence total running is just 13k when car is 2 years old now still didn't get dpf issue till now and pretty decent city mileage of 14.5-17 with AC always on and on highway easily 20+ and I do drive with full enthusiasm like always in the range of 100 kmph to 120 kmph again AC always on

      @@BatrickPateman001 Absolutely go for Nexon Diesel, I have a Nexon Petrol top model in my family, at any given day I absolutely leave it in dust be it a drag race or long race bcz even if Altroz Diesel is low on power but the power delivery is very aggressive so once you are gone then you are gone

      @@daninwheels1006 Absolutely bro , will go for the diesel . Currently I drive a 2012 Ford Figo 1.4 tdci and it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it . It's a very fun to drive car with unmatched ride and handling and the closest replacement to it will be the Nexon diesel I think in terms of driving pleasure. I personally love Altroz too but the low ground clearance is what bothers me and since coming from a hatchback wanted to upgrade to a compact SUV. After the exit of Ford it is quite concerning and you never know who's next in line so vocal for local is what I believe 😆
