      Thank you for your question. Its' May to Jun in the UK. It is seasonal but that makes it nice as you appreciate it more. if you harvest it and dry it properly it can last a year.

      Peppermint is not tea. It's a totally different family of plants. You're referring to an herbal infusion. We just call it tea for short.

    So, I think why many people prefer to add milk to tea. Milk binds the tannin, lowering is nausea - inducing cpacilities. Anyway, more than anything else, most people in the oriental countries would drink tea with their foods. Its help to ease the discomfort after drinking tea. Good advice Bernie sips. Great information.

    Does this need to be diluted before serving? I think of extracts like vanilla extracts made in alcohol and are a super concentrated flavor of the ingredient. Is there a difference here between brewed tea and tea extract? Thanks!

    Awesome, thank you for making this video! Do you happen to know if cold brewing your tea reduces the amount of caffeine? I love green, whites, oolong, black, etc., but I’m so sensitive to caffeine :/ Just came back from Jeju in Korea and bought a lovely Jeju Halla Rock Tea from the Osulloc tea museum

    • @berniesipstea
      @berniesipstea 29 днів тому

      Hello! that's a great question. It has less caffeine in general but certainly not enough if you are sensitive. Please do drink this in moderation and only in the morning or early afternoon. The Jeju Halla Rock Tea is lovely! It would do really well with this method. Enjoy and let me know how it tasted?

    You say, "healthy amount of salt." For this recipe (these measurements) could you give a more precise amount? ps: I've already made this 3 times! It's my go to. But still don't feel confident about salt amount. Will venture into using other veggies using same concept. NOTE: Other pickling recipes on UA-cam are crazy precise about salt amount. Is this because the salt is part of the preservative aspect of it? -warm regards
