Great video! A couple notes on your technique with the Hario: -Folding the edge of the filter (the rough line where the filter is glued together) makes it fit better into the brewer -Wetting the filter is done in order to remove the taste of the paper. The water used here should be disposed of before you put in your tea, and should not be a part of your final drink. Onwards and upwards!
Hi there! Thank you so so much for taking the time to share improvement techniques. This is super helpful for everyone. I think I'll include a washing of the leaves and paper step into this technique. I can't thank you enough for the tip. Are you a coffee lover?
I am so glad you found it useful and thank you for taking the time to watch. If ever there is anything you would like to know about tea you need only ask. Happy Holidays!
I’ve used the AeroPress for months with coffee. Tried some herbal tea with it, and it worked great. But, I couldn’t get the tea smell out and my next two cups of coffee were horrible! I bought a second AeroPress and now use one for coffee, and one for tea. 🤷♂️
Indeed. So much better is you have one for each. Soaking the areopress in vinegar and water usually helps remove the smell. But I agree, this practice is best.
