Roadtrip Vlog - Day 5 of 5 - Hiking at Zion National Park! (June 2022)
The last day of our 2022 trip where we hiked the Thompson Trail and Zion National Park in Utah. A fantastic hike!! I originally only made these trip videos for my mom who doesn't travel or use the internet and lives on the other side of the US. She never even finished watching them (yup 🙄). So I uploaded them here because why have all this effort wasted? Enjoy!

Day 3 of our Colorado trip. This day we had a fantastic hike on a trail in the Rocky Mountains just up the mountain from Red Rocks Amphitheater, where we went later that day to see Andrew Bird, Neko Case, and Iron and Wine in concert. I originally only made these trip videos for my mom who doesn't travel or use the internet and lives on the other side of the US. She never even finished watching...

This tutorial shows a very easy way to make a lidded jar without needing a flange. The kurinuki technique is a Japanese method of pottery making that lends itself to experimental textures and forms, and you can't really mess it up.

How I pack and Ship Fragile Ceramics

My tried and true method for packing and shipping my pottery! I've been shipping ceramics for over 15 years, and haven't had anything break in transit in years. @loriphillipsceramics 11 місяців тому

Yay! Glad to help! If it’s joined well enough, and stuff enough, you can carefully lay it down right away. But I usually wrap it up well for a day or two so the moisture of the piece and the seams can even put/homogenize. 🙂
