Oh these pieces will be killer gorgeous! Just breathe, you're doing great. I'm a firm believer in "we are EXACTLY where we should be at any given time". Your creative brain space is still working even when your hands aren't. Here's to continuing to shine on! 💕

Thank you Jess! I’ll definitely keep uploading! Getting my channel monetized is one of my biggest goals for 2023. 😁

I liked how authentic this video was. Some weeks are low energy and that’s totally cool!
I hope you’re having a nice holiday season.
P.S. I’m really looking forward to your Pocosin Arts workshop in March! I attended the 12/9 workshop and thought it was great 😊

Thank you!! I’m having a low energy few months, lol! But I’m comin’ round.
So glad you enjoyed the workshop! I’m looking forward to the next one! ☺️

Sometimes I think the low “unproductive” days or periods are a necessary part of the creative process. Almost like you need the lull in order to recharge and then there’s a burst of work followed by another lull. It feels like you’re just sitting around, but maybe the body or creative part of the mind is busy doing stuff (like when sleeping)? I know it’s gotta be frustrating when you’ve set deadlines for yourself but hopefully you’re being gentle with yourself too. i
It’s super cool to see someone so admirable like you be so vulnerable too.

Very true! I just hate how most of the time my bills and bank account dictate that I really can’t rest at that time. *sigh* Most people struggle with overworking. I struggle with getting to work at all. 😖

I love your work, but today I especially love your sharing. No one would say I'm ADHD, but I have really been struggling to focus. Anxiety or lethargy? This video has been uplifting. Thank you.

Thank you so much Jackie! That means a lot, and makes me feel less “oversharey”, haha. 😆☺️

Always love your hair. Also if you ever want someone to talk about adhd and related struggles I've always got an ear. I was diagnosed in 3rd grade and my executive functioning is BAD so I get it. I'm also up at 5 or 6 most days lol.

Thanks chick! Man, I wish I had a diagnoses in school! I have no idea how I got through it all, lol. 🤣

@@loriphillipsceramics know how that goes! ❤️ I had a ton of coping strategies that worked through school, but having a job broke them (can't knit to pay attention if you have to use your hands on a keyboard all day...). I got diagnosed last year and holy cow medication is life changing! I like to tell people my brain is like trying to work in a busy coffee shop. There are several conversations going on, I can't decide what thing on the menu I want, the barista is taking orders, the espresso machine is noisy, people coming and going with traffic outside the door, and there's a singer/songwriter in the corner with feedback on her mic (i have tinnitus) who only ever sings the same eight bars of songs, over and over and over. Medication is like putting on noise cancelling headphones and blinders. Distractions are still there, they're just a bit easier to ignore.
The struggle bus is real, but it's good knowing we're all on the journey together.

A very good way of explaining it. 😆 I tried Strattera and like it, but even though it’s not a stimulant, it was giving me weird heart beats, so I went on Wellbutrin instead. It’s very helpful with emotional disregulation, but not the executive function. I may try something else in the coming year.
Driving the struggle bus off a cliff, but singing the whole way! 😂
