I just want to get into the habit of uploading somewhat regularly without worrying about having some grand video. And people like watching throwing, so there’s that. 😆 I’ll do an actual tutorial for throwing if people seem to want it. I just figure there has to already be a ton of those on here. But everyone throws different, so 🤷♀️.
Oh no! I'm sorry you'll have to re do your work. I'm a bit sad when i have to redo, but i like that with pottery, nothing's really wasted, not materials or even time.
True!! Thankfully they were ok though. 😃 Just a little dryer than I’d like on the bottom, but I was able to rehydrate them. Woo!
To get your mugs about the same size every time, do you weigh out a certain amount of clay or just eyeball a certain size lump? The embellishments are so amazing, but I also love the base shape!
Thankya! I weigh it out to about a pound, but other than that, there’s usually a good amount of variation between each one. I’m not so good at throwing an exact form over and over. 😝
