A 20 litre water container can be from bunnings for $21. Adventure kings sell a toilet for $100/ Working your way up to buying and installing these really make a difference. Been travelling across Australia for 12 years. Its a great chance to see things and live true freedom. Be safe and the most important thing I have is my Camera.

Great video! I have always put out favorite photos and in any cute frames. One of my favorites is of an Icelandic cow walking around in a bra. You will never be as cool as a cow in a bra. I like several dimmer lamps in the evening and late at night. A salt lamp, a decorative star shape hanging that has a 25 watt bulb, cool metal lamp with stained glass shade, six or seven in one room, but none so bright they stand out. Thanks!

I look on the map. Get out of town. Turn off main roads go down rural roads to a river or beside a railway. Find trees to hide in. Don't make smoke, Nore run lights most importantly. A bag full of other people's rubbish take everything with you. ( This has got me good points in the past). Oh talk to no one, tell no one.

How you handle toilet?

Park legally and don't make any sound when your in the van and you don't need to be moving the whole time. I spend two full days and nights in the same spot in the nicest areas of Sydney and Melbourne. Do have a van that I have made to look very tradie like.

Stealth camping might not be on the books for me. I have very severe sleep apnea so without my cpap machine sleep with the sound of a roaring freight train! I could get a surgery to help but all my doctors say its pretty drastic. I have boney growths under my tongue which pushes my tongue up into my throat blocking my airways (mandibular tori). I still haven't bought a battery in case I'm without power, they are super expensive and I"m a pensioner.

I wanted to spend $10,000 but they charged me 22% tax on my super withdrawal! So was pretty lucky to find a good mercedes van for $7,000! I'm doing absolutely no build. Got a fridge, got a mattress, made a fold out bench and that's it! I haven't done my maiden run yet, I've only had the van a few weeks now. I'm going to try it out at a local caravan park in the next few weeks.

Gray wood floors always makes me this of a weathered barn. Why weathered barn on your floors?

Shucks. You're giving us courage. Even though you're so gifted with being personable/welcome-able. I don't know haw my keyboard did this slanty-thing (just now); but i'm about it. ...Probly never happen again so.

Horrific feng shui. Both before and after. Especially the plant. Plants need water & soil. They will get sick and die; the people breathing that in all night, every night. Plants are for a Very sunny, high ceiling living rooms above ground-level with a windy balcony; with double doors or huge windows. There were no pictures of the door. Or window. was there a window in that bedroom? The location & opening direction of the door - & what's beyond that door, And window specs (size, where in regards to the door, sun direction, etc) are paramount to the direction & position of the bed. Those 2 pictures weren't much to go by, but the bedside tables are a smidge too high to be that pointy-cornered (& bright white). The drawers beside the bed stand OVER you like a soldierly entity. Very not good. And pale coloured enough to glow in the otherwise peaceful/restful dark. Also not good. AND it stops airflow fluently reaching the Two-ppls air-intakes in what already looks like a room with no window. The Framed painting sounds like it was already in the works; but that frame looked like trypophobia's wooden bubble brother. Not to be mean. Your van stuff was great. [apart from the 'coloniser in sheeps clothing' part where you bunked-with & made named-pets of spiders the rest of us kill on a weekly basis]. But i would highly suggest the youtube channel 'Dear Modern' for some serious, informed, and scientifically founded, inspiration in healthy home-living that is so entertaining u don't even know you're learning the ancient, tested, & enduring art-form of better home-living. Keep being out there and brave, and we'll keep watching. And keep learning.

I recently moved from a grey apartment, and one of my criteria for the new place was no grey! It was very difficult. Why do they all choose grey!? Some places allow you to paint, but that seemed like too much work. Thankfully, I found a nice cream-white apartment. I can't tell you how much lighter I feel.

So many new builds in my city were this hideous grey scheme. What the fuck. It's so ugly, lifeless and doesn't pair well with many beautiful wood tones.
