Thanks for this. I upgraded to this one from the Ninja 400 and couldn't be happier. I'm 6' tall so the seat height is much better for me, but I installed a Puig touring screen to reduce buffeting. Rides like a dream. Oh and maintenance/repair cost for Kawis is minimal, compared for example a BMW GS.

When it comes to chinese bikes, I think Voge isn't a bad choice. Never tried one, but from the different reviews I've seen, it's not a bad choice. Plenty bang for the buck.

Need to get on and off better. Instead of portly ballet student throwing a leg up and over its horse rider mounting a tall horse. Step up on the left peg with left foot, reach over to bars to steady as you lift up. Then bend right knee and foot back. Then knee over as you are up and leaning forward. Just have to boxes to avoid with the right knee over. Should look more graceful in public 😂.

It looks a nice bike and plenty of gear for that price, I think it would be a bit slow for me, my CB500f was at 47bhp, also, I wonder how it would fare under a cover for a couple of winters, now I know Honda’s build quality isn’t as it has but my Hornet is standing up well.

Hi Nick and Jodie (Long reply alert!) TL;DR - looking forward to seeing some more bike related content and banter from you guys. Have a great Christmas and New year, see you in 2025! I found you guys a while back after watching one of your Interceptor Pillion videos, so I've been watching you a while now and have always enjoyed the content (even the "naughty" off-road stuff 😉). I know myself how difficult it is to keep coming up with new ideas, especially if you're not able to commit to this as a full-time job! Time, money, family - it's a bit of a nightmare isn't it? You've done great so far though to be honest, and I'm pleased to hear that you'll both be back in the new year. I keep checking your channel to see if I've missed an upload as it's been a while since we've seen you! I've been trying this year to be more creative with my own channel and post more content than I used to. I have had some success, one video of a series of 4 (a four day road trip to France) has well over 10k views! But the latest video I posted up is struggling to reach 70 views! I really don't get how this algorithm thingy works! I've only got 300-ish subscribers, but I find myself trying to chase the views and subs now to try and get to the magic 1000. And even with such a low number of subs I feel under pressure to put out videos more often than I do - which isn't always easy with a full-time job and other commitments etc. I think I'm going to try and chill a bit and not try so hard to get the quantity up, but try to concentrate on the "quality". To be fair, it's the editing together of bike rides that I enjoy the most of this - so maybe I'll stick to just doing that. I do enjoy the "vloggy" stuff, but less people seem to watch it. I guess I'm too boring! 😂 Basically, I think what I'm trying to say, using my own "newbie" experience as an example, is that if you're not relying on this as a full time job (which let's face it, most of us aren't), then I think the best thing to do is just do whatever you bloody well want, and enjoy it along the way - some will like it, some won't - but the minute you start churning out video after video because you feel that you have to, I think the whole reason we started doing this in the first place is lost. Hope you guys have a great Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2025!

Merry Christmas, In my humble opinion Nick, You are an excellent Mechanic, And I loved your video's on Royal Enfield's best 👍 You should both get yourselves some Royal Enfield's, I would suggest same as myself, An Interceptor 650 and a Hunter 350 each, These are by far the Best one's on the market by a long sea mile LOL 😅 Based on my motorcycle experience of over 50 years All the best for Christmas 🎄 and the New Year 🎊 Cheers Paul 👍

Stick with your content of riding bikes going to destinations and a bit of mechanics when appropriate. The old saying, "If it isn't broken, don't change. "... l started following you on the NC and bought one as a new biker a few years ago ... just do what you do.. it's a winning formula, and don't chop and change.. all the best for 2025.

Hi Nick. I enjoyed this review as I am the same height and inside leg. Haven’t test ridden this yet but my local dealer gets test bikes in February. I would love a Triumph Speedmaster but can’t ignore that this just as nice and is basically half the price. Also Triumph suspension isn’t great either. I have a T120 and the rear shocks are poor. Methinks Hagon is calling. If I do go for a SM I will add Hagon rear shocks and a DNA filter, and possibly better tyres though interested that you find CEAT ok. Lots of reviews suggest they are a bit slippery, but then they are test riding whereas you speak as a former owner. Regards
