Great video. I'm looking forward to that Frontier film 🚀🌔
a superhighway for data I see
How does it work
2,8 thousand comments.. 1.7 million views ?
Light is only a specific spectrum of the EM waves...radiowaves are not light by defintion..the guy interviewed is flawed...
Light will require more energy..sure it is faster but requires more energy to emit the light then to have the electrons travel alone.
Moore's Law was Never an Actual Law. Also yes it died LONG Ago. So it is no surprise then that the dude doing this vid looks young. Hell, Darwin's "Theory" is more of a Law than the fake Moore's law. Welcome to Failed Video Titles.
This kind of tech sounds like it could potentially create a temporal paradox if data is moving at lightspeed.
Whens the IPO?
Mars 😂😂😂
If we all die due to some terminator catastrophe I know I will be blaming this guy first then biden 😅
This is not new news. It's not even NEWS! Portable Nuclear Reactors have existed for decades!
They already exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't let this distract you from the fact that a machine with computational power less than a calculator landed humans on moon while we're doomscrolling our life away on the most advanced piece of tech available to us today. With AGI and stuff, we can create and consume memes and waste everyone's time at light speed.
misleading content
WoW!
When she discovers the firmament I wonder what that will be like 🤍🙏🏾
Faster bus speed for certain (which is the current bottleneck ) but until you get light into the transistors, there is no computing with light.
Darius mentioned ✨ 19:30
LMAOOOOOOOO! What 🐃💩 propaganda. "Transistors are reaching the size of an electron. Even if we use the 1000 times too large Fermimeter scale for an electron, a single nanometer is 1,000,000x larger than a fermimeter. We're not REMOTELY close to the size of an electron. 🤦♂️ There's more wrong with this video and his claims than I'm willing to waste the time addressing.

this is just an ad
dope!! hoping it works out
on AI, it will never become conscious on Moore's law, it's death was overdue edit: wait, if you're already using multiple chips and the main GPU is waiting for data, why not offset each chip so the GPU constantly processes data at full speed?
cant wait for the skynet
Gas stoves are incredibly efficient at heating a pan if you are using a pan that is designed for a gas stove. People buy gas stoves and then try to boil water using a ceramic pot, well, ceramic takes a little while to absorb the heat, it's not as effective of a thermal conductor as say, copper. The heat source itself (flame) is providing plenty of heat but the pan sucks. If you use a copper pan with a gas stove boiling water is incredibly fast. The reason chefs use gas stoves is because a lot of more complex techniques in cooking require rapidly decreasing or increasing temperatures using a copper pan, glass stove tops retain heat even after being turned off making a quick reduction in heat impossible, my guess is the same problem would exist with this stove top. Gas stoves are the only effective method to rapidly decrease and increase temperature. If gas stoves were all that horrible, every single kitchen in every single restaurant in the US wouldn't be using them. That being said, for reasons you mentioned (health), I hope your product proves my skepticism wrong and you produce a better stove top than gas that replaces gas over time.
Kinda misleading, an startup that upgrades traditional chips with light Pci express Lanes, that is not "reimagine the computer"
Gamers won't need RGB in the future. Mobos will be a fiber optic light show all on its own.

Moore's law is no more
Admittedly I am no computer scientist , but I’m no dull spoon. Some things aren’t quite adding up to me. 1st- Why do they keep saying communicating, or sending signals “at the speed of like” , ??electricity travels at the speed of light (give or take a few incredibly small delaying factors like heat, & resistance, which the difference would count for nothing). 2nd- It seams to me that this isn’t a “new way to compute” , it comes across as some type of augment to standard processing methods to cut some corners and be able to pack more into a chip. Seams like it’s a lot of mumbo-jumbo for the lay person and unfounded hype. Anyone concur ?
Can it play parasite eve 2😂😂
I think lightelligence is some steps ahead in this field. They presented a working optical AI processor back in 2021. But I haven't seen news of major breakthroughs from them in a while.
i agree lights can go as what we see is the range of angstrom and but if we realize angstorm doesn't have any limit so with this even if we dont see that light bet there is light
Crazy to think stupid chips are making smarter faster chips while being limited to their own speed.
bro you look like zack effron after plastic surgery
One of the big roadblocks to innovation in the US is the regulatory environment. The GM president scoffed that Tesla would fail because of all of the regulations. Thankfully, he was proven wrong. Burt Rutan's early private space efforts were stymied by the bureaucratic state. He was told he needed a permit to launch anything into space. When he attempted to apply for one, he was told there was no process, so he would have to wait.... years and years. The small nuclear "battery" will be produced at some point. I wish him all the best.
I love how everyone in this comment section thinks they are an expert on this. What a joke.
Wake me up for iso linear chips 😂 Per Star Trek 🎉 🥳
After watching till 17:07, I’m confident to say THIS VIDEO IS A CLICKBAIT
Hmmm, sounds like a scam to me.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Not even a donkey will be put on the moon.
Can it play Doom though?
Sounds like another startup scam
There are still more steps, there was a phd on entangled photons and you could have a router receive entangled photons and untangle them in different variants besides just light/no light. you have differently entangled light per say. Being able to recieve/send way more data than traditional fiber. Superentagled photons.
Very cool, but a reminder that human brain achieved AGI (or GI?) with plain electricity and minimal energy
AGI is not as close to us as people like to talk about. Not fucking close. At all.
I viewed this video twice to make sense of its character. I'm just a goat herder listening and reading materials from high IQ researchers. Nonetheless, it appears that the containment and harnessing of a God particle is futile. To create a Holy Grail to drink the fruit of immortality doesn't need light, hombre.
