The XR400 front fender looks great. Did you need to modify it at all or just put it on?
@@WaveformWanderlust no it went right on. No mods.
👍👍
👍👍
Marshal pass and Keebler pass are two good rides for fall colors also, me and a couple other friends were out there same time last year on adventure bikes for a week and road a bunch of passes. Keep having fun and enjoy it while you can
Looks like t7 heaven
I did Cinnamon a few years ago on my DR650. Near the top I was in awe of my riding skills, then at the top there was a 110lb gal riding a GS1200. Ego crushed, but she was nice enough to take a picture with me.
You were lucky with the weather. I was there once in late June and got snowed on from Engineer to Lake City.
I agree, this was a crazy year for hitting good weather on several multi-state rides. I'll take it without question.
Well done two 👍👍up
I apricate that thank you for watching. It was an epic day in many ways. Putting together the videos still hard to believe.
What a beautiful ride. Memories forever.
Thank you, this was one of the best days I ever spent on a motorcycle. The day never stopped giving.
@verbalwidget7267 I rode my Honda xl 250 from Silverton to lake city in 1976 on a similar day. It's my happy place now.
Thanks Yamaha T7
T700 did its part for sure, I have a box of parts sitting here to make the bike a bit better for next time. It's a wonderful machine; I just need to set it up for me.
Hell yeah brother. Great views, Great Ride!!! Don't beat yourself up for the small mistakes but celebrate the accomplishments. There is only one way to learn.
Thank you, I was frustrated at first but a few minutes later the big picture of being on top was all that mattered, and I didn't drop the bike.
More beauty. Thanks!
@@ParallelCamper ROB!! Amazing country back there, all I want to do is go back once warmer weather returns.
Beautiful canyon and a nice downhill run. Better than watching Macy's parade. Thanks!
And the price is right. Have a great Thanksgiving Rob.
Beautiful ride Widget! Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks, Dave! I keep looking at that valley and wondering how that journey would have looked 150 years ago. Fantastic scenery!
@@planeflyer21 I would imagine more ice pack. I always wonder things like that too. The first explorers seeing it , etc …

Love the back roads, Happy Thanksgiving.🦃
@@desertwolf3818 D-Wolf Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Too many back roads, too little time for sure. 👍🏼
Another great ride on a beautiful day. Thank you for sharing it.
@@vtrack1963 Thanks Tim, always good to hear from you.
Thanks for sharing an amazing ride !!!!
@@pilotdane1Thank you Dane, it was cool to see you, I never did a premiere before 😂🤣
Love the sense of accomplishment! Riding the Alpine Loop is such a cool experience.
@@AzMtnThumper It just hit me what I had rode up. Really first off road on the T700 I need to dial in the bike. But it got me there and home. 👍🏼
Dave !!! - what a beautiful ride, I would love to make that ride - Just beautiful !!!! - I kike the downhill part best !!!!
Rides like that can be great for your prayer life. 😅Incredible views-glad you had a clear day!
Standing there on top the pass looking at the beauty and greatness of it all can be a religious experience for sure. Thank you for watching.
Amazing trip down the mountain Dave! That whole area is amazing. Those switchbacks get tricky I would imagine. You handled them expertly!
DOC !!!!
Amazing video Dave! Now I know what you were talking about when you visited recently. That trail looks really steep and the views are amazing. Definitely knocked one of the bucket list on this one
Impressive is an understatement!!!
You’re saying you nearly had a FusterCluck?
😂😂😂 You crack me up Patrick!
@ 😂😂😂😂
PATRICK !!!!!
@ Obi Wan!!
Wow is right! What an incredible place, and ride!!
I’m proud of you Dave! Excellent.
@@JdilpkleRS Thank you Joe, that really means a lot to me. You are a good friend, praying that you heal up and get better soon ❤️🩹 I know it’s painful.
THE MIGHTY VERBAL WIDGET !!!! - You need to hand out with Swedish Rick !!!!! fuck me 🙂 Never would have tried that....
Happy Thanksgiving Dane!
DANE!! You and the mighty DR650 would have had no trouble at all, especially with the new suspension. I would like to go back after a few tweaks to the T700 or take the DRZ250. Thank You.
When it looks steep on the video it’s nearly straight up. Very impressive on the rock section at the beginning of the video. You and your Tenere seemed to handle it very well. Great views on top also. We have some sections of rocky roads like that in the Olympic National Forest but not that long (or high). I’ve never tried anything that challenging on the bigger bikes. I’d need to know I was going to do a section like that ahead of time to wear better boots I think, especially with bags on the bike. Great video!!!
@@vtrack1963 Thank you Tim, the views were off the charts, the Tenere did great I need to set it up for me, and get it out in the dirt more for some bonding time. When I left AZ I had no plans to do a summit ride, it turned out to be a fantastic day of riding.
"V" !!!!!!
Your Tenere certainly handles the high altitude well. Thanks for the ride!
Thank you, the T700 performed very well, and I have a small box of parts sitting here for it to fix a few of the issues. Nonuse and not setting up the bike for me needs to be corrected. Thank you for watching.
12:53 wow!!
Video coming of the ride down that way. Save your wows it was beyond beautiful.
@ I can hardly wait! You’re getting at least 2 views per video on these! On my phone, where I comment, and on the big screen where I sit watching with my mouth hanging open!😂😂😂
Ok, you have got to take me up there one day!!!
Done! The Vstrom650 will not make it, we could rent a buggy though and have a hoot!! I'm thinking bucket list!
@ 😂😂😂 Works for me! Although, I’m just ignorant enough to want to try it on my Strom…
7:53 a great place to have a 360 camera!
I'll have to put it on my list to Santa🎅.
Amazing weather too!!
For the 3rd of October the weather could not have been better. Best ride of my life in those 3 days.
You didn’t totally blow it, you stayed upright!
Yes and no, it wasn't the end, but I wasn't the moto ballerina either on that first section.🤣😂
PATRICK !!!!! - I had shit runnin down my leg just watching !!!!
@@verbalwidget7267 😂😂😂 Whatever works!!
@@pilotdane1 Right!! As he said, no room for error!!
@ Being a moto ballerina is overrated!😂😂😂
Just wow!! Stunning up there!!
Can you imagine camping up on the pass in the summer and all the stars you could, see? It's very surreal up there.
@ Bucket list is getting longer!
Great ride Dave. I would never have attempted that first climb.
I sat there and thought the same thing Rob, "what ifs" flooded my mind, but the reward was beyond my wildest dreams. like the terminator ... I will be back The Widginator 🤣😂
FNA !!!! - My heart was pounding !!!! - Dave is 10X the rider I could ever be !!!!!
3:10 and then he makes it look easy!!
Once you get back on the pegs it's all good, it was the off the path duck walking that gets dicey. Worth the effort and like I said I had a push, and the voice from above "GET OFF THE SEAT DUMMY!"🤣😂
@ 😂😂😂
2:09 suspense!!!
Dang dude, you have no Idea, lots of thought racing around my head.
@ Do you think some of the hesitation was because you have seen videos of folks struggling on that pass? I am still nervous about one section of the SM1000, just because of videos of people crashing….
I'm surprised there's no snow up there. Did you go back the way you rode up? Or continue on?
It was October 3rd - 5th the weather for the trip was stunning. I went down the other side through Lake City which was unbelievable in itself. I'll get that video up by Thanksgiving. It was the most amazing day ever on two wheels.
"DAWG" !!!!!
Steep, loose chunk always gives me pucker factor too.. on a heavy ADV. An "off" is gonna be painful, even w/proper gear. I have found, just go, do not think works better.😅
I agree, and really the first true dirt on the bike. T700 just turned 3000 miles on the way to this trip. There's a lot of potential in the bike and I have gathered a few parts to set up the bike for me. Thanks for watching.
PACO !!!!!!
@@pilotdane1 POTTY MOUTH !!! 😅
Awesome ride. Give yourself credit for the skills to keep T7 upright!
The last gasp of the old man, I ran out of skills in the first 15 feet, like the old flying novel, "God is my Copilot" I know when to let the big guy take the bars. We have to go there on 250's it will blow you away.
Another sleepless night, cool a widget video to kill some time. I knew you would make it up that mountain. You passed that jeep like…. Verbal Widget blazing through. Thanks for taking me along.
Desert Wolf, always good to take you along, thank you for watching. Cinnamon pass ride be the highlight of the year for sure. I already want to go back when it warms up.
Wonderful video Dave! You are nailing every bit of it. Very very enjoyable.
Thank you, Joe, it was a great time for sure. I'm still blown away by your video last night. Amazing skills brother!
On my bucket list. Beautiful!
@@LBRides Do it … I’m definitely going to make more trip to Colorado in 2025. I don’t know why I had it in my head I wouldn’t like it. Amazing!
👍👍
I drove the road between Durango and Silverton some 25 years ago. I would like to visit again sometime. It's beautiful and interesting history. Thanks!
It's a wonderful road to be on Rob, I was very blessed to ride it several times this year on different bikes. I would like to do more Colorado trips next year.
That looks like such an amazing ride!!! And, you were nearly all by yourself up there!!!
Just Tee700 and I Patrick, it was a wild hair I had after coming back from SD. I'm glad that I did not talk myself out of such an amazing trip.
@ you most definitely made the right choice!😂
There’s a guy I follow on UA-cam who says that eventually he’s going to have a “Death by view”….
That certainly sounds like a good way to go. The footage barely scratches the surface of the enormity and beauty of it all. Blew me away, kudos to Tee700, heck of a machine on and off road. The tweaking starts! 🤣😂
@ The best part!! I look forward to seeing what you do with it!
@@Motoramblings Just small things, I have a few boxes from Camel ADV and RM. Goal is to wash it today and knock the mud off.
