I keep hearing UA-camrs say they can't live without cruise control. I never use it. Possibly it's the nature of the rides I take. Freeway traffic and mountain roads primarily. I suppose HWY 40 from the Colorado River to Barstow could be a reason to switch on the cruise. From the river to the B let my right hand be free. Nice video Dave.
Funny that dual sport should be defined as to work or to a beer or coffee. Beware of the clip ons, the attachment points have been known to break or ruin the plexiglass on the stock windshield
Two of the best moto upgrades in the last 20 years fuel injection and cruise control. I dislike any of the other electronics they paste on bikes these days.
AZDD! Cruise is nice but I rarely use it. I was just having fun on this short clip because people I know base buying a bike or not, solely on cruise control. Kids! This bike is for sale I went back to a Tenere T700 that I missed. Cheers.
Yep, I understand … use to like the vstrom 650 then fell in love with the 1000/1050, maybe more so the V1000. But I chose to go back to a T700 and leave Vstroms for good. Mine have been ultra reliable and changed bars, seat and lowered pegs to fit the bike.
Dual Sport AZ Dan! Just a great day to get out after a month in the garage. Bucket list day at the Space Age restaurant, breakfast in Gila Bend. Great to be alive. a bit of road therapy.
Ah yes, the magic of cruise control! I don’t use mine very often but when I do It was needed.
Me too, it was a nice break. Just having fun with it. V1050 cruising along.
DOC !!!!
DUDE - you just crack me up !!!! Although I watched on my phone the other day - I just love it !!!!!!
Just having fun and goofing around on the bike OW, such a nice day for a ride. Always great to hear from the DR650 master.
Nothing like some good wind therapy !!!
Yes indeed, I have been wrenching on my days off for the past month, had to reset the stress meter. It’s damn good to have you back.
And breakfast! Yes hood to get out and ride
"Z" !!!!!!!

I’m the same way Rob, I remembered it was there and settled in, but it would not be a deal breaker on a bike for sure. The new generation I guess?
ROB !!!!!

Lots love the VStrom, I hated mine, great engine but didn't like much else about it

Patrick! living the dream if only for a bit, you know all too well the joys and freedom that comes with a cool sunny day and a motorcycle. Cheers.
@@verbalwidget7267 there’s nothing like it! Great for the soul!!!
So no more off road exploring?
Never! Just sold big yellow Vstrom replaced it with more off-road T700 Tenere., DR650 and new improved KLR ready for the backroads.

😂
get a car, you are more suited for that.
Is it because of my big a$$?
With a drive this boring you might as well do it in a car.
Boring never happens, the freedom, wind and the sun washes away all stresses and life's BS like no car could ever do.
@@verbalwidget7267 Well said!!!
