Been with the post office 10 years thinking it would get better. Our own union is literally screwing us. Regretting staying this long. Us table 2 guys have already lost 10s of thousands of $ and most carriers are weak and accept crumbs. Union (they are not really a union) has no backbone and can’t even strike
Thanks for the comment. Over the past couple years, I've spoken with carriers and one of the main complaints is the union as you've just described. I don't agree with people getting pay cuts as I've learned that's a thing.
And USPS is still considered a service our prices will always be cheaper than everyone’s. We have no choice in changing that. Our prices will go up with inflation but doesn’t change how our service is.
If UPS is increasing their price on surepost they will bring their business back to USPS in the busy cities forsure it doesn’t make sense for UPS to convert more drivers just for surepost. They’ll stick to the cheapest labor they can find USPS
Hired in with USPS in 1995 resigned in 2020 to move to Tennessee, hired in with UPS in 2021 as preload, hired in with USPS in 2021 still working for USPS, never quit 😂
I hear you, but there's always different perspectives. You'll always have people on all sides of things. I see this as a good thing for UPS, but not everyone feels the same. I want to hear everyone's views.
Usps if you look at it like a service & not a business. Usps brings in a incredible amount of money to ups, fedex, & Amazon being the biggest revenue increase. It's because they do it for pennies. The workers prioritize packages over mail now. They'll send whatever back up is needed to get the packages out. It's a middle finger to Employees bc it's less work coming in. Usps will eventually become universal delivery services always government funded. It's not a bad service. It's ran poorly tho
Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure I can quantify an "incredible amount of money". And it is a business, the service is the business. I can also see why they would prioritize packages over mail. Maybe the USPS structure might change over time. Possibly a private company buying it and run it better. Therefore, the government won't have to worry about subsidizing. Just a thought.
Management told me we were originally charging UPS 25 cents per package. Now we are asking for 60 cents per package and UPS don’t want that

Those surepost parcels will go to usps

Sorry my friend, UPS went cheaper by using USPS
I'm trying to understand what you wrote. I think you meant "UPS went cheaper by using USPS"? Is that right?
Their service sucks (USPS)
Well, they purposely have been sabotaging post office for years. The infrastructure is old, broken and disgusting. Now our own union is against us.
😂😂
That's why UPS, Fedex and Amazon use USPS, because it sucks? Might want to check your facts before making asinine comments.
@@SergioHernandez-ft9uv it's not the service, it's poor management
