Being in the south east, that lawn looked pretty damn good before you started compared to here! Need some balls to try that here at the moment! Brilliant content as always Dan!
Yeah, my lawn suffered massively this summer even sans hosepipe ban fairly regular watering - we get two days of not all that much rain, starts growing like wildfire, cut it, verticut it (which actually didn't have much to pull out) and now it's looking great again not even two weeks later: certainly does come back. Even my Japanese maple that was very sad and dropped all it's leaves has started to put out leaves again which is pretty crazy.
loving your vidoeos, thanks so much! I live in a warm wet climate, and have a real problem with worm casts literally covering my lawn. It's so unsightly. Is there a way of getting rid of the worms?
That looks so good compared to ours. I need to weedkiller first though as the weeds have survived better than the grass. Is it ok to weedkiller before overseeding though?
Dan, would you estimate its down around 10mm now at the front? Front looks superb too. I know your other gardens have better and more defined stripes, but I like a close mown lawn
Hi Daniel I have an electrc rake but not a cutter blade attachment for scarifying? I've only a small lawn so do you think I should buy one or is there a cheaper way Also I have creeping cinqufoil and can't seem to get rid of it thanks
Dan, love the vids. I cut a lot of lawns, but don’t have the knowledge yet to be able to get to the standard that you do. Or the customers willing to pay what you must have to charge either 😂 Just curious, do you take all of these machines out with you every day? If so, what vehicle do you run as even my MWB Sprinter would struggle to accommodate comfortably
I’ve got a new lawn complete renovation in May and used a fine fescue mix (yes I know, not the barrenberg ryegrass seed that you recommend). Is it ok to scalp it now do you think? I’ve been using your products on it by the way!
@@Ian-kw3iz most people dont buy everything and buying 10 porsches would cost in region 1 million crikey thats expensive but you would buy just one not ten
Quite alot tbh couldnt get anymore equilibrium due to the ukraine/russia saga shortage of the fertilisers so got equinox as a sub, will have equilibrium Back in stock next year
Rakes not much use on small amounts it doesnt rake little bits up it just passes through the teeth plus i have sciatica at the minute quite bad so cant bend over to pick up the piles
Cranking video again Mr Hibbert, can I ask how long your equinox feed takes to dissolve? I'm only asking as I applied another granular feed today and after 30 mins of water tha grain had hardly started to dissolve at all. Also Is your equinox feed pet friendly?
Yeah all granular feeds are pet friendly really, unless its like a 2 in 1 with weedkiller, equinox is polymer coated so it wont break down fully for a few weeks, depending what granular you have used most have fillers in which are inert these just help spread out the active ingrediants these can take a while to break down
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert Cheers Dan 👍🏻, when I've put granular down on the back lawn my daughters jack Russel runs along picking it up like Mrs Pacman. It's never made her ill but it had concerned me in the past.

If we don't have the "Old faithful" as you do will the allet/atco scarifier (springs) attachment do or is it too severe at this time of year?

Hi Daniel. I follow all your videos and notice you never use an aerator? Your lawns always look amazing...is it not needed?
Nope not in my eyes
I'd never recommend anyone to use an aerator on their eyes!👀

When you get as old as me, the water pressure will be half. I can't shoot across the backyard anymore.
