Kayak Outrigger Stabilizer Floats Kit Raven - Kayaks2Fish
New & Improved 2022 Kayaks2Fish Outrigger Kit
A Kayak outrigger is used to add stability to your sit-on-top kayak and is a great accessory when using your kayak for fishing. Kayak Stabilizer floats allow you to stand up to cast and land your catch an also adds safety when using a trolling motor.
Each float comes with built-in 6-inch storage compartment giving you more space to store your gear.
The double floats are attached towards the rear of the kayak using built-in rod holders so that they do not impede your paddling stroke. The whole kit can be removed for transport and storage.

Well done mate...Great install vid
Thanks mate 🙏👍🎣
Great vid thanks 👍
❤️🙏🎣
Looks awesome re, what a rig !
Thanks bro 👍🎣
Hopefully for version 2.0 the Z bars will be able to disconnect at each end away from the straight bar via a 'twist & lock' mechanism. This way there would be no need to remove the entire bar from the Kayak as the straight through bar can remain attached to the Kayak permanently as there is little to no overhang.
Having this option would be extremely handy after a long day out on the water, especially for a quick getaway prior to loading onto a vehicle's roof racks, etc. What do you think 🤔?
Nice one David that would work for sure mate 👍🎣
I'd say a system like metal walking sticks. They have pre drilled holes and a spring loaded ball.
It could be done so when you put the Z bar on you push down the ball, insert the Z bar and when it reaches the appropriate distance, the ball pops out of the pre drilled hold and connects the straight bar and Z bar together.
Remove the middle black wing nut, slide outrigger out then put the black wingnut back? Centre bar stays on
Does it matter which way the outriggers face would like to know as I have a pair of them and have the outriggers around the other way with the storage compartment up front as you have them at the back
Hey mate
They are multi-directional it's not a problem which way you set them up 👍
Hey, do you have an electric motor to attach to a kayak? Just wondering how it would be done with outriggers on as there's only 1 groove for bars to go through the hull left to right.
No I don't have one just yet but will in the future. The rear of the kayak motor mount ready so you can screw it to the Yak. Or you can use the option where you take out the Maxdrive and place a pod instead to put an electric motor ❤️🙏🎣
If we are handy, could we tack-weld the brackets to the main bar across the kayak. Just so the main bar can stay in the 1 place when removing the out-riggers? Just a thought. Keep up the vids, but we need you to be out on the water aswell👍
Hey mate that is an idea that could woik to 👍 I will be able to get more vids on the water Fishing soon unfortunately haven't been able while my kids are on School holidays for Christmas break. Thanks for your patience 🙏👍🎣
What would you do with the tack welds after? Can you grind then undone and get the weld off the bars without damaging, or seeing where they were tack welded?
@@milkshakemuncher to be honest I have no idea I don't know how to weld. I personally will not be welding my own as I want to be able to completely disassemble to be able to store away when not using 👍
@@milkshakemuncher I would only be tack welding the little brackets to the main bar. The main bar could stay in position and then just remove the top screw to undo the out-riggers?
