Many happy memories from back in the 80's.I feel so sorry for the kids of the day who will never experience anything like the fun we used to have!!
Matty Hethers totally agree im 49 now and i miss it so bad
punks not dead man don't fret for the younger folks
I agree. These kids today have shit for music..... .....good thing Bad Manners is playing this next Saturday (this 44 yr old can still cut a rug!!) Oi!
I love bad manners I’m 14 years old
@Stevie Raven66 what is it then ? skinhead ?
Saw Doug (Buster) climb onto the stage to sing with Desmond Dekker at a Scooter Rally back in the 80s. Feckin' awesome...
The whole ska scene was really tight. The clubs were amazing. Take a lot of high-t young men and turn it up LOUD. We had all sorts and very little trouble. And you went home soaked, knackered and profoundly deaf.
I was there,Doncaster race course there was a riot and buster came on stage and mooned the crowd! I think I also saw the racecourse grandstand on fire during the ruckus
I was going out with a beautiful Lorraine at the time and at school boy did they take the piss out of me at the Christmas 1980 school disco still love both the song and Lorraine
I saw them at San Diego State, Buster is a madman! One of the best Ska bands or their day!
i absolutely love buster blood vessel bad manners are still brilliant
Cos I'm 'Enry the Eighth I Am.
These are happy MEMORIES so many talented artist/ groups
We need more in the 2020s
In the 80s you were allowed to be different.
The sheer brilliance of this song can't be overestimated, from the cheesy lyric to the costumes and of course Buster. One of the greatest, yet most underrated bands of their era - but still out there cooking!
Best part gotta b wen he said why u laughin at me
lol
@@mydigicraftscrafts8649 why you laughing at him
I remember him saying Are You Laughing At Me, and the guy froze in fear,...must be the Mandela Effect
Bad Manners, Judge Dread, The Hotknives, Madness, The Specials, and The Selectors would have been my ideal line up.
+futureman1400 Mustard Plug and the Good Skamaritans should be up there.
and iron maiden
It's The Selecter. Spelled with an e, not an o and no s. Never heard of The Hotknives. I'll look for them 'ere.
Yes and Air Supply. Whaaat the fuck???
I hope you found The Hotknives, @@matthewstetson711.
Best ska song ever, this version
Song is nice but playback is awful
The best thing they ever did. And bloody good

The brilliant Winston Bazoomies on Harmonica… absolute legend..

"Occasional" harmonica.
Badmanners are still a class act
They played my small town in 2009, great night, Busters really friendly and seemed really happy to see us all
Buster blood vessel awesome singer and just amazing. bad manners are one of the best ska bands ever👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
First ska single I bought. Played so often I’m surprised there were still grooves…
*This song is such a beautiful masterpiece, I wish music was like this now a days*
Sleep in eternal peace Alan Sayag … The absolute legend that is Winston Bazoomies….😢🙏
Which was alan sayag?
@@annaritaranalli1791 Winston Bazoomies the harmonica player…
Thanks rangers...he was sure still young..how happened?
RIP 🙏🏾
I remember on Gosh It's Bad Manners. The credits listed Winston as "occasional harmonica." Fecking brilliant!
That bloke with the glasses, whom plays the tin whistle on Lip up Fatty, is also a good musician and back up singer on Lorraine here.
brings back memories of back in the days
Buster Bloodvessel, the best Hery VIII ever
pure entertainment ,musical fun .if you dont dance to this ,you have no legs
Have no legs or just dead. 👍
Brilliant, this d
From, black,Nigerian, British kid in the 80's
I saw these guys at Roskilde Festival in Roskilde, Denmark. But I can't remember when. It was in either 1978, 79, 80 or 81. I was a kid and I remember they did a song called I love beer or something about beer. I was up front and the singer threw a bucket of beer over the crowd and I got soaked lol
Good tunes as always.
Bad manners Lorraine great music and very good video to this song
Qué clásico! Siempre volveré a escucharla. Saludos desde Colombia.
bassline infectious AF
Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Buster Bloodvessel played my college ball in 1987/88. Good times!
Essa não é uma Banda musical mas sim de humoristas!
RIP Winston Bazomies
Seeing them in Adelaide this wednesday. CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If only those days were here again!!!
Ce l'ho nella testa dal 1980!!!!
I have just got back from watching him perform at the Havering Town Show, Harow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, Essex, (August Bank Holiday Monday, 2015, U.K) a very good time we had.
Douglas Trendle, better known as Buster Bloodvessel, is an English singer and the frontman of the ska revival band Bad Manners. His stage name was taken from the bus conductor played by Ivor Cutler in the Beatles' 1967 film Magical Mystery Tour.
Born: September 6, 1958 (age 56), London Borough of Hackney
Was some good times back then.
80s MTV was quite terrific…
Saw them play in Southampton last night (18.12.21) fantastic performance.
Still a tune!
Underrated poet, Buster Bloodvessel.
That bassline - damn ..
Exactly!
Watched him in aberdare last week, can't get this song out of my head
Awsome ✌🏻👍🏼👌🏼💯💜
One of my to go to songs. Always gets me on my feet!
play that harrmonica Winston :-D
The man is a remarkable harmonica player and he´s also an incredible dancer
Thinking of the families of the 48 victims of the Stardust fire, this was the song played as the fire started to spread
Classic
reminds me of my old neighbourhood 😂
Best ska band ..
I miss u dad i love u SKA FOREVER
I had a 7" single of : Lip up fatty and Walking the sunshine as a kid , But , This is better !
Brilliant ❤❤❤
For me, Winston Bazoomies and Michael, I forget his surname, known as Mr Drums, were the third and fourth best members of the band, after the saxophonist and Buster with his singing, always on the beat. Does anyone know if Bazoomies was his real surname please?
Classic👏🏽
1980 for me was the peak of UK pop music, been downhill ever since sadly.
@Warren Baldwin Yeah by 83 the rot had set in/
By the mid 80s the slick image factory thing began to take over and the music took a back seat. Still there were a few standout songs but the best are still pre 83 for me.
Best bad manners track...love it
Great song! Bought the 7 inch!
Happy music
Very Nice Video
VIVE THE REGION OF LORRAINE, FRANCE, OH OUI !

What a funny viideo.
Did these guys play on the Young Ones show? I've heard this song before and can't remember where.
I'm not sure if this is an example of the Mandela Effect, but I remember when I was a kid, at the start of the video, Henry the eighth (buster blood vessel) said, Are You Laughing At Me, and the guy Laughing froze in fear, but in this video he says, Why are you laughing at me...!
nahhh bruh this the best version 😂
Me 2 am 56 n miss it so bad

This is a bit off script, but, I'd love to see the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band do Ska, also.

Anyone know any other ska songs like this tempo by other bands. I just enjoying skanking
When i farnd her im gunna keela.....When i farnd her im gunna keela.....:)
BRASIL BRAZIL 1996_2096
990° like.Saw them on TV,Italian Song festival of Sanremo(IM-Imperia),Liguria,where Fatty cause some riot by outrageously showing his chest.Only Placebo have misbehaved since then-except for Roberto Benigni who kissed Olimpia Carlisi saying"We can do ut,even dang Wojtyla said so".Co-hosts eh!
Maybe they went in 1981,I don't know.
Do the Ska
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
Begum!!
Song is not bad
Will you marry me?
Now front mAn is much thinner
Genius song no one pulls the English humour off like this band ..if you don't understand your a waste of time.
Henry VIII😂🤣🤣🤣🤣✍️🤳🙏🙋🇮🇹7:23a.m. sud 30/10/20
Imagine trying to put a song and video out like that now? The snowflake generation and the #me too Nazi's would have them put in jail. Saw BM in Dublin a few years ago, Buster was at the main door welcoming everyone in. It was one of the best gigs I was ever at, didn't stop dancing for the whole night.
buster makes henry the 8th look like a waif....... lorraines not much of a looker.....
Probably be cancelled now as a woman beater (Amber Heard) even tho Lorraine punched him first
