Anglesite particles can be highly toxic to inhale, ingest, or contact on your skin. Galena contains lead. I do know you have been doing this for years, so I know you know what you're doing! I love the shade it created, and it's gorgeous 😍 other's probably don't know that, though.

wish this comment was higher. I like erin’s videos but she almost never mentions when she’s working with toxic ingredients and I already see people in the comments saying they’re going to try this out if they manage to find the materials

I left a comment, but it didn't stick. I said the same thing. Gelena is lead ore & when smashed, crushed it's extremely toxic!! You're not even supposed to hold it with bare hands at that stage, much less paint it on your lips.

(Editing to say that I meant the product would have the colour of the mineral, not include the mineral) This gave me an interesting idea: A line of lipstick named and matched to the colour of the rocks found in these ancient lipsticks. This one had many in it so that would be a few lipsticks already. Maybe eyeshadows too

Erin uses these ingredients to show people the reality of ancient cosmetics, she doesn't use them the way someone would have in the time period. She puts it on and takes it off immediately. She's not going to whip out this mixture as an every day or even every once in awhile product.

Hey, I agree with what you said, but this music is original music made by an Iranian artist called Farya Faraji. This specific song is called Hikanatoi, it's an original song based on Byzantine history. All of his music, and especially his Iranian original music, is absolutely phenomenal! I'm happy that at least some of his music is being promoted. You should definitely check out his channel! He's one of the most creative artists of our time!
