Let people believe what they want in their own version of god. I looked up to this man, I really did, but since I found out about hateful he is towards people who aren’t of the faith, it really hurts.

Any Christian who uses "woke" as a pejorative just exposes themselves for who they really are. And that's how it should be, we need to know who they are.
P.S. The religious narcissists have overplayed their hand, missing such a glaringly obvious fact, that being "woke" simply means being aware, being kind, empathetic and compassionate. In other words, being a good Christian.
This blunder is similar to the "cancel culture" blunder, where the abusers complain about the "cancel culture" not realizing that they are exposing themselves as the "abuse culture".
This is how hidden secrets are brought out to light, and the perpetrators do it themselves, without realizing it. 😏
I love that there are a few Christians finally not being the gatekeepers for someone LGBTQ. Why can’t they worship who they want?

And yet folks are finding Flamy Grant music and returning back to Christ’s embrace because grace is extended. Go figure. Are you mad about Flamy or are you mad that y’all ran off Derek Webb?
That's not really true, those people "returning" still wind up at not actual churches.

Oh pipe down. Flamey Grant brought me back to Jesus after straight people pushed me away from him. She's the only reason I'll still be saved and I'm forever greatful.

Derek is a musician, not an "agitator." Maybe Yeshua, especially given his activity and demonstration in the temple, was one however. Looks like a privileged, wealthy Christian-famous guy got triggered... Calm down, John. But maybe you can scare some people into emulation and non-thinking if you repeat "apostate" enough times.
