Good thing to note: Assail/Prescience is the objectively better pick if you are duo'ing with a teammate already going the meta trauma blaze build, as they are taking both CDR auras and the aura area extender already. The auras don't stack and giving 5% crit to a crit build is decidedly good for them and the rest of the team.
Kinda feels like it got over nerfed back at the start. I love the idea of having a problem solver in my back pocket but as it is it kinda sucks, i dont think it should need 2 resources to use. If my back is to the wall then i probably have to much peril to use it. Just wish they would make it a pure cooldown resource
Pskinetic Aura is too huge. That and Seer's Presence with the curious and it's like you're just running your ability back to back, Lol. Of course, you have people doing penances too but not on auric.
Are Dueling swords/Force swords worth using if they can still meet most break points? Or is the gap between the knife and them so massive that you're crazy for not using it. You're my favorite mechanics math guy.
Depends on which force sword and dueling sword - for both, I'd recommend trying the 4's. The other dueling swords are a little bit wonky, and the Illisi force sword is pretty alright for horde clear but struggles on single-target, which is usually what the Psyker struggles with already. The OG Force sword, I think it's called the Obscurus (?), is quite lackluster, would not recommend. Stick with the Diemos force sword, or the dueling sword 4, both are S tier weapons but the knife is unquestionably the best melee weapon in the game.
I take it the type of gun used doesn’t matter too much so long as the RoF is fast enough to rack up crits? So maybe not the shotty but the K-something lasgun with the recon scope, maybe?
Really enjoying the videos, love how you don't sugar coat anything and you're straight to the point. Have you considered doing reviews on fan-submitted builds?
What do you think of the recon instead now that columnus is two round crit and recon buffed? Please make a deep dive about how to use the combat knives, which attacks, when to punch, when to heavy, when to block attack, etc?

This is a great explanation, thank you for sharing. I'm about a level 1500 vet, and I'm usually am at the top of the scoreboard. Unless there's a gun pysker, where they are consistently 20-40% more damage than me. I've been confused for awhile now how they do it. This really helped me understand. That being said, auric malestrom is pretty simple with solid mechanics, so it's possible to just have fun nowadays (I wish it was harder)

Recon lasgun equivalent of Apriganna mk1 is just so much better and it will reliable proc psykentic aura. Also having a passive ghost blessing is just invicible.
if you put raking fire on that columnus you will destroy bosses esp slugs. scriers gaze also works well with illisi vent on weakspot strikes. you will have scrier for the entire duration of the horde

Mk 4 just feels more enjoyable to me plus I'm sick of using knife on everything. What's your opinion on mk 4 blessings? I've been running riposte and uncanny and I seem to be one shotting crushers when everything is at max stacks. Haven't done proper testing or number crunching though so maybe I'm hitting wounded ones and deluding myself.

Just tried this build in Auric Dam, and it absolutely slaps harder than any psyker build I have used in my over 1200hrs of game play.
How exactly would you use Brain Rupture just by itself, without anything to speed it up? It has like 5 second charge time, to kill 1 enemy

I think they are around the same I just like the knife
