    Ogryn with max hp curios+60% hound resistance
    Be last one alive and have near full hp

    Funny enough i used to have 9 Stamina on my trinkets. I started adding an extra wound later because playing in sudden death mode after getting downed once is not fun.
    Stacking gunner resistance is my go to on curios, everything else is optional... so i'm running stamina/toughness regen (for the overall boost) and... ordo dockets because i'm constantly broke.

    On Curios then should I replace 5% Health with 4% Ability Regen on all? If I keep up Toughness I don't really have to worry about +15% Health right? VS getting the Yellow Toughness that stops one shot I'm assuming.

    • @jacobvriesema6633
      @jacobvriesema6633 5 місяців тому

      Health is still very useful, but it kind of depends on your build. Tanner didn’t mention this in the video, but toughness fully protects against ranged damage, but only proportionally against melee. That percent is based on your missing toughness. So an example:
      You have 75/100 toughness and 100/100 health. You take a 60 damage melee hit. 1/4 of your toughness is missing, so 1/4 of 60 (15) is taken to your health. What I’m not sure on is whether you take the full 60 to toughness or just the 45.
      If however it was a 60 point ranged attack, you’d be at 15/100 toughness and still full hp.
      So +heath is more useful for melee builds that take melee damage. Ranged builds may be better off with more toughness (not from curios, but talent points).

      @Shadowburn2 4 місяці тому +1

    @1:56 you state “stamina gives you more sprint speed…” don’t you mean, you can sprint longer with more stamina? Or are you suggesting that a Zealot with 10 stamina actually runs faster than one with 6? The only thing I’m aware of that affects your speed is the weapon. I’m pretty sure sprint efficiency just means you burn less stamina per second while sprinting.

    • @TannerLindberg
      @TannerLindberg  5 місяців тому

  • @YourSponsor
    @YourSponsor 5 місяців тому +2

    I'm not sure I'm sold on block efficiency on psyker. Yeah, it has excellent synergy with the funny peril block node, but it feels like overkill. Maybe I'm just a dodge addict but I don't see the value of being able to block ten ragers when there's never a situation where you wouldn't rather just dodge away from them so that they don't surround you. Greedy revives, maybe? But even then, i dont run block efficiency and i can still get people up in the middle of mixed hordes, and if they're surrounded by crushers that could overhead me, it probably wouldnt be helpful to revive somebody into that situation unless they're a shout vet or book boy. My usual psyker curio is stam regen, ability cooldown, and revive speed. I like revive speed over block efficiency because while block efficiency has kinda the same effect of being able to take riskier revives, revive speed helps when under ranged fire and is more helpful when there are active specials. Block efficiency is always active while revive speed only helps when you make mistakes, but in auric pubs that's a guarantee. I get use out of it every mission.

    • @pseudowraith
      @pseudowraith 5 місяців тому +2

      I'm a dodge addict too, but I still get tagged a bunch in large enough swarms. Blocking is a much better guarantee, and both together should ideally mean you're mostly invulnerable.
      I take frequent damage cause I don't block a lot, I just favor dodge cause most of the time it works every time, and I'm lazy.

    Toughness vs Health my reasoning is: If your build gives you tools to easily keep your toughness maxed after taking damage, get health. If your build does not let you easily top off your toughness after taking a hit, then take toughness.
    If you're able to keep toughness at or very near to 100%, then getting more of it doesn't really help. But having a bigger health pool will be very helpful to last through all the chip damage you take.

      Im running an all wound curio loadout currently for trying to learn an assail-scrier build, but once I get better at managing peril, I'll replace 2 of them most likely with toughness curios because of the insane amount of regen I get from building/quelling peril during scriers gaze. 3 wound curio has saved my ass a LOT with learning this build, but it is very strong and I can regularly carry my team once I focus hard enough.

    I think saying this video discusses "Meta" is somewhat misleading.
    Why? Because in order to follow a meta, you need to have grasped the game on a level that allows you to play Damnation, not talking Auric here.
    Many people overestimate themselves by feeling justified to run these types of builds even though they cannot even use all that stamina and toughness the curios give them.
    I for myself who somewhat plays Auric missions, am feeling decent with doing just half of what you say regarding Curios, and having at least 1 Wound so I am not severly punished when I make a mistake under pressure. Something Meta player's do.
    I just think, that in order to utilise the resources you are advising on in this video, it should be addressing High-Skill players, as "Meta" adresses the general playerbase.
