Plenty of Action at Tehachapi Loop | BNSF & UP | Downtown Tehachapi at the Railroad Museum(8/3/2023)

Had a great day checking out the Tehachapi Loop. Due to some people talking and lack of filming, I did miss a couple BNSF helpers heading down the grade to assist in pulling the IM train shown in the thumbnail. I passed the train on my way in, and there were a bunch of trucks parked at the front of the train with workers outside. I suspected maybe something wrong with the lead power after seeing the trains heading down to assist. I know, I need a radio…Also noticed the CEFX 1042 engine in the middle of that long grain train. There is a scenic overlook that was built for railfans on Woodford-Tehachapi Rd just northwest of the town of Tehachapi. If you type Tehachapi loop scenic overlook into most gps systems it seems to bring you there.
