As far as people who don't have the option of Spot Lock -- I've used a mesh bag full of small rocks, tied to a light poly rope, as an easy way to anchor a raft in one spot. It's pretty self-explanatory, but you can fill the bag with rocks when you get to the lake, and dump them out when you leave (you don't need that many, only 5-10 pounds). Whenever you want to stay in a spot, let the bag over on a rope and feed out enough line for it to hit the bottom. Then put a 'cow hitch' loop in the rope (extremely simple) and clip a carabiner through it... and clip the carabiner to your raft or kayak.
That was cool.
perfect day PK, thanks for sharing

Stay Safe 💕 💞 🙏 🙏
making good memories again PK, very cool

Looks like the jungle.
Good video, good to see ya having fun. Love catching perch. Did you sell your boat? Thanks buddy
I would like it if you mention the location you are fishing at
Hey Buddy, its Kevin! Those backwater sloughs can be adventures, The Perch King finds the perch! I am going to quit typing and get back to the show.
Also, to keep the line tight, keep the tip up! Use the spring in the rod, this is even more important when using barbless hooks.
