I hope you all enjoy it! This is based off of warriors starting with The New Prophecy going all the way until Crowfeather's Trial!
This is very much from Crowfeather's point of view, I'm not trying to portray him as a character who didn't make mistakes. I did want to make content based off of a character who was easily recognizable, but not so written on that I couldn't put just a little bit of a spin on things!

YES CROWFEATHER NOT BEING A VILLAN FOR ONCE! Crowfeather is my favorite character and my son and I will protect him at all and any costs. Literally everyone he gains an emotional attachment to dies, no wonder he's distant from his family.
List of everyone Crow has lost + some commentary:
- Eaglekit, his older brother from a previous litter. His cause of death was never specified.
- Deadfoot, his father. He was killed in the BloodClan battle before Crowkit was even born.
- Hillkit and Downkit, Crow’s siblings. They had names and were reported to have been healthy at least one moon after birth- so he had to have had time to bond with them and stuff. It’s unknown how they died.
- Feathertail, the cat who first showed him how to open up and learn to love again. She got through his shell and softened him up a little, only to be ripped away from him. After she died, he literally tried to commit suicide, remember? He jumped in front of a car.
- Mudclaw. Mudclaw was his mentor, and presumably a pretty bad one at that, because Crow seemed to hate him and sided against him in the rebellion. Still, it must’ve sucked to watch him get struck down by the cat gods themselves.
- Leafpool was his second chance. While Feathertail was like more of a high school sweetheart, Leafpool really meant the world to Crowfeather. He was willing to leave the Clans behind and live the whole rest of his life with her. He really did love her. But he put his feelings aside in favor of hers when she wanted to return to the Clans. Honestly, who can blame him for feeling a little bitter about that?
- Nightcloud’s two kits. Yeah, Breezepelt had siblings. Since they don’t have names, they were most likely stillborn, but still - Crow probably interpreted it as a sign that having kits with Nightcloud had been a mistake. He lost two children. What else could it mean?
- Hollyleaf. He barely even knew her, but she was still his daughter. She was the one who revealed the truth that he was her father. There’s a moment in The Last Hope where he mourns for her with Leafpool, and it’s sweet.
- Ashfoot. Holy fuck, Ashfoot. She was his mother, and the one cat who seemed to have been by his side for all of the disasters he caused. And he lost her, too. For god’s sake, pretty much all Crow had left to live for by that point was Night and Breeze, since he could barely get to see his ThunderClan kin- hence Crowfeather’s Trial.

He had other familial issues as well. As mentioned by one of the replies, his dad's siblings died as kits. His mom's siblings were Morningflower and Onestar. Morningflower died (and her kits died young), and Onestar _hated_ Crowfeather - he even tried to exile him. Crowfeather's only cousins were Heathertail and Darktail (and Darktail's siblings, although they don't really count). He had a pretty decent relationship with Heathertail since she was his apprentice, even if they did argue a lot. And she became Breezepelt's mate, so that was probably nice. But... still. Damn. Onestar and Darktail ended up killing each other, too, which couldn't have been great.
His granddaughter Smokehaze was killed. That probably sucked. Also, Crowfeather was forced to mentor an apprentice that happened to be a female gray tabby........ and her name was Featherpaw. Featherpelt. Who do you think _that_ reminded him of every day? Oh, and he drifted apart from his journey pals. We never got to see him interact any more with Bramblestar, Squirrelflight, Tawnypelt, or even Stormfur when he temporarily went back to the Clans. And we get to see pretty clearly in Crowfeather's Trial that the dude has no friends and also suffers from a lil bit of ptsd.

yeah i think during the moment shadowclan was attacked by monsters and was being torn apart crowfeather(Paw at the time) jumped in front of a monster but was pulled back by someone, not sure who.
It was either squilf tir leaf pool that saved him

Also (it's not very important) his father had two siblings that died as kits, although Crowfeather probably never knew about them, if he did imagine how it would effect him with the loss of his two litter mates and Breezepelts two littermates.
Edit: One of the new Super Editions changed his aunt and uncles fates but he was still never able to meet them because they were two of the three cats left behind when WindClan was forced out. They were never seen alive by a cat after that.

I’m really hoping that Crowfeather goes on to be a good leader or dies a hero for his clan. When he dies, I hope he makes it to StarClan to live with Leafpool as a mate. If Feathertail is there I hope their relationship is fine as like a sibling relationship. I’m happy he is being a better father to Breeze, and Nighycloud is like a friend to him now. He really is one of my favorite characters. He made so mistakes but he’s fixing ‘em!
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed in Crowfeather's Trial Leafpool and Crowfeather fell out of love with one another. He would likely be mates with Feathertail in StarClan

*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SQUIRRELFLIGHT’S SUPER EDITION AND THE BROKEN CODE SERIES-READ AT YOUR OWN RISK*
Yes, but when Squirrelflight and Leafpool got stuck in the cave that collapsed and they died, Crowfeather was said to be mourning her and the book explicitly said “Those feelings never left” which makes me think the Erins are hinting at Leafpool and Crow being finalized. The Broken Code series also seems to be hinting at code changes because on their official webpage they keep asking if cross-clan lovers should be allowed. On top of that, the bristlefrost x rootspring relationship hints at cross-clan relationships being allowed because they said something about pursuing their feelings at a later time when things are different... that comment combined with the polls on their website that correlate with the books they realize makes me believe the Erins want Leaf and Crow to be together. I could be wrong but there is evidence!

Yes. But she comes back to life while Leafpool stays in StarClan. They tell her she will be assessed again when she dies to determine if she’s accepted to Starclan.
There's several reasons why I love this, and not just bc I love crowfeather
I like the way you showed ashfoot several times from the beginning, ofc his mom would be worried
And mostly - unlike many crow vids I see, it doesn't end with him being hurt and grieving, this pmv goes full circle and shows him overcoming his past and mending his past mistakes

finally, a pmv about Crowfeather that is just, Crowfeather. Not him being portrayed as abusive, or anything else, just him. I love it.
I feel like a lot of people don’t acknowledge Crow’s and Night’s make up, so I’m glad to see it here and accurate to the canon!
Love the designs you chose for the characters. Finally someone chose different shades of black/grey for breezepelt, crowfeather and nightcloud. Along with their eyes. In some warriors amv I can’t tell nightcloud and breezepelt apart. this is excellent work
Thanks! I was inspired by others work to choose a pink/purple base for nightcloud, but when I was designing them I intended to give them distinctive coat patterns and fur textures!

Finally, a pmv that shows the aftermath of what happened to crow. many end with him being discouraged, heartbroken, and lined but this one shows him finally mending with his demons and making peace with the others. I especially love how it shows that you don't have to forgive someone who's caused you pain to be on good terms with them.
I honestly think that Crowfeather was so emotional at the time, he wasn’t ready to care for a son. It’s kinda sad that Breeze and Night treated him the way they did (and yes I know he did stuff wrong aswell). The family should have sat down, made some tea, and talked about their feelings.
I like to belive that Crowfeather saw Feathertail when he was hwlping leafpool up ;w;
This was a really complex and impressive animation with so many emotions on the characters and such detailed backgrounds. Wonderful work!
I really like how you show that crowfeather is sad but respect leafpool chose unlike showing him as angry at leafpool
Crowfeather and breezepelt are my favorite characters. And breezepelt really needs a lot my development. I know he was in crows super edition but still.
I really like design and expressions you gave to these characters, but what I appreciate most is propably Ashfoot. I never really seen these two interact in the books, even though she's Crowfeather's mother and that emotional glances she gave him really shows that she cares about her son. I just find it sweet

he’s made a lot of mistakes, there’s no denying that - but he tries. he’s not in any way perfect. he can be arrogant and selfish, but he does his absolute best. he’s been through so much and developed throughout it all, and he’s striving to be a better father and warrior. i love him so much hhh-
i swear to god, if he doesn’t become a leader and/or dies doing something really noble, like saving the lives of a at least half a clan, i will lose my shit

the shots in this are amazing, i think my favorite has to be the bird-eye view of leafpool next to cinderpelt at 1:55
also i love the concept of crowfeather having the dream of leafpool kitting, running to the nursery and it's nightcloud. it really puts you in that position to really feel sympathy for him. i never really imagined crowfeather genuinely caring for leafpool much because their relationship was so rushed in the writing, but that definitely puts it in a different perspective.
generally i can't remember the last time i saw a fully colored amv like this to the entire length of a 4+ minute song, it must've taken an enormous amount of effort! and i love how you subtley tinted their coats/color palettes with their eye color too. you made stonefur and greystripe both still look "grey" while also blending in some warmer orange colors to them. even though crowfeather, nightcloud, breezepelt, and hollyleaf are all black cats, you could tell them apart by coat alone.

Crowfeather has always been complicated. From a youthful young apprentice, growing into many relationships, not being the best father, to holding up as a deputy.
He’s changed and I hope that he will be praised in StarClan. I love this PMV, definitely watched it more than once
Crow is such an amazing character who many readers can easily relate to (atleast, I can.) and showing his love for his mother several times while everyone else practically hated him and he hated them hit a little too hard for me. the fact that he was able to pick everyone up, be a better father to crow, befriend Night and save their characters was just so amazing. Also I love the ending, lmao.
The way you portrayed everyone was AMAZING. You didn't demonize anybody and showed Crowfeather to be a flawed character who lost so much. It's so hard to find anybody who portrays these characters so well. Thank you.

Oh, and another thank you for using the pink/purple eye Nightcloud! It's just a preference of mine. The trend started as a means to better difference Nightcloud from Breezepelt and yet so many people complain about it. You made her look so good!
This video is absolutely gorgeous, I love the story you tell here with his character!!! 😭Crowfeather has always had the potential to be a really tragic and sympathetic figure, ever since his super edition released I have honestly loved him so much. He is a character who deals with trauma and abandonment, as well as the scorn of his clan, and eventually, his family. I really love the direction his character was taken! When he realizes how distant he has been from Nightcloud and Breezepelt, he actually tries to become a better father and forge a connection! Your art and character designs are also very clean and feel very true to the characters, excellent work! Def one of my favourite PMVs from the fandom!

This is nothing short of perfect.
Its rare to find a MV that doesn't make Leafpool and Nightcloud look like sad, mistreated, baby angels who were abused by Crowfeather. Crowfeather as a hurt cat who's relationships are strained due to his prickly exterior and his past relationships, not some kind of monster the fandom likes to largely portray him as.

I’m really hoping when Crowfeather dies, or becomes leader (I hope he does become leader in the future) he becomes mates with leafpool again (if he dies), or leafpool gives him a life for love. He truly did love her, feathertail was some unhealthy obsession. He mourned leafpool and Hollyleafs death, and I know he still loves her deep down.
I can't believe I forgot about Crow and Feather's love until seeing this now...it's been years but her death still hurts my heart.

This is an amazing PMV and I’m in love with every single bit, but what I found the most unique is, as stated by so many others, the presence of Ashfoot. Their relationship with Crowfeather is pretty much ignored and I’d love it if this PMV lead to more content with them!

I love this so much! You portray Crowfeathers emotions so so well and this is one of the best PMV's I've ever seen. Although I kinda wish you included Crowfeather reacting to hearing about Leafpools death, as I believe he still loved her very much.
It would’ve been a good thing to add! I wanted to end on a positive note, however I’ve considered making another crowfeather related video so maybe it will come up in the future!

I love this so much!! you really do justice to how complex crowfeather is. I love how you don’t show him as purposly bad that his nature of being unengaging and independant it’s just a result of his grief but also that he wasnt innocent and made a lot of mistakes in his life as well!! Amazing work!
