I’m speechless that this project is finally COMPLETE! I didn’t think it would take this long, but none of us were expecting 2020 to happen either.
It’s wild to me that a spur of the moment idea on an Uber ride would launch my entire UA-cam channel. I had lurked in the Multi Animator Project community for years and just one day decided that I could give it a try XDNow I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with dozens of incredibly friendly and talented people. So…thank you all, my viewers, the animators, for everything!I did the entire outro in 3 days, and 12 hours straight of editing and not knowing wtf I was doing, a common theme in this first time hosting project XD
I’m incredibly proud of this video!
Side note: I don’t actually read the books, so some characterization may be off, but it felt prudent to give my own interpretation of the relationship between Nightcloud and Crowfeather. Basically in summary, they both have valid points but also suck for various different reasons XD I don’t want to advocate for or vilify either character. Relationships are complicated.
I do wish I could have featured the rest of the designs a lot more, maybe in the future… Although there aren’t any plans for anything like that anytime soon.Till next time, go forth young heroes!! Onwards to creativity, memories and imagination!!

I like how this shows how truly incompatible Crowfeather & Nightcloud are. Nightcloud has unrealistically high standards, and wants to change Crowfeather into someone he’s not, while Crowfeather doesn’t have the patience nor temper to be with Nightcloud. They can be amazing as friends, but nothing more, and that’s ok!
Can I also say.. that I ADORE Leafpool’s design? She’s so cute!

This was really good! Damn, that ending tho. It's kind of messed up if you think about it. Nightcloud wants Crowfeather to be someone he's not, which honestly I think is the main problem in their relationship to begin with. He was never going to give her what she wanted out of a relationship. And when Crowfeather refuses because he doesn't want to change himself just to stay in an already not great relationship, Breezepelt just attacks him? Like damn, you're one to talk about improvement, Mr. never apologized to the people he actually attempted to murder.
If the relationship needs one person to change completely for it to work, it really should just be over. I'm glad they were able to compromise in canon and remain friends.

The one thing I’ll add is that while Crowfeather’s point in the argument is valid, he comes on WAY too aggressively. He essentially likens her a stupid kit, yells in her face, and calls her idiotic in a fit of understandable frustration since he’s been trying to appeal to her for the whole map. But that’s no excuse for him to treat her so aggressively when there are way more elegant ways to air his concerns. Him insulting her is why Breeze socks him in the jaw.
@@Cookie-Brooke Thanks for responding! Agreed, Crowfeather could've been much nicer, but I think Breezepelt hitting him was a bit too far, especially considering his history of being overly violent. It always bothered me how in Crowfeather's Trial they never actually bring up that one time he tried to kill a pregnant queen and a medicine cat and that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like the authors wanted to shove away the truly bad stuff he'd done instead of making him confront it. So yeah, he's far from my favorite character in terms of writing.

I love how this depicted how Nightcloud never really love who Crowfeather really was and that she only loved the fake Crowfeather that he never could truly be, to the point where she tried to make him into someone different with promise of being the once "great family they were" (which to me it was never). I also love how it showed Crowfeather's stubbornness and unwillingness of changing.
This was really cool!!! I've never seen someone do an outro like this one, the comic style was a really great chance to get to use text in the video which doesn't happen in too many MAPs and really helped make the story clear. The whole thing was really nicely designed with the characters and colors and overall vibe, i just love this!!

It shows how flawed the family is and how genuinely unhealthy it was for everyone, and is a great example of canon and not just Crowfeather being the one at fault.
Crowfeather not being honest with Nightcloud about why he became her mate, Nightcloud pressuring and basically forcing Crowfeather to be *her* ideal mate and father without any compromise and getting mad when he’s not and using that as an excuse to turn their son against him, and Breezepelt automatically siding with his mother because he was raised to view Crowfeather as the enemy. It shows that not one singular cat is at fault here- they all made poor decisions, but it’s not fair to Crowfeather that he’s the only one who has to make changes because the other two are biased against him.

I LOVE THIS MAP SO MUCH,, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS AMAZING~! I LOVE CROWFEATHER-MAN,,ugH- AND I LOVE TIFFANY HADDISH NIGHTCLOUD ,,, I LOVE THE AETHETIC, THE CHARACTER DESIGNS,, ALL OF IT! EASILY ONE OF MY FAVOURITE MAPS EVER.
I love the designs and the characterization. Nightcloud is such a queen and Crowfeather as Batman looks very cool for some reason XD.
And the comic at the end is just fantastic. It really shows how they should stay as friends, and nothing else.

oh man, did I love this MAP! From what I've read up to (OotS & Crow's Trial), Crowfeather and Nightcloud are my favorite canon relationship. NOW WAIT A SEC! Hear me out... They're my favorite because they're not good together... but how they were able to redeem themselves enough to not hold grudges anymore and even be friends.
I really enjoy projects like these that try not to show either in horrible lights, but showcase their problems at the same time. Their whole relationship never worked from the start.. literally the only, canon reason Crow got with her in the first place was to boost his reputation, as at the time he lost a lot of rep and trust over his situation with Leafpool.
And I enjoy that this MAP heavily focuses on Nightcloud's problem with wanting to change Crow. Wishing to mold him into HER perfect mate, while he barely wanted to be in the relationship in the first place.
And all of their personal issues are only elevated by their son, Breezepelt. He really is the definition of a mama's boy, so of course he'd stand up for his mom if he found it necessary, while his parents really do not need another person trying to force them to stay together.
and to top it all off, it's also slightly funny to me how someone who has never read the books, and is going off of pure fandom speculation and made a very, very good MAP that is extremely accurate to the character's canon situation.

i came here expecting only to laugh and grin at the fun, goofy concept and great parts, but now that ending has me in genuine tears ;w;
this turned out SO GOOD!! everyone did an exceptional job with all the expressive faces and body movements and poses! i'm also in love with how everyone emulated the comic-book style into their parts in their own, unique ways!

Maps of other franchises would be fun to see crop up more often ^^ I see a lot of catified Marvel maps and Star Wars maps out there sometimes

Actually, Crowfeather is in the right here. Nightcloud won’t meet him halfway and wants him to change his entire personality and appearance to make her happy. That is not how a relationship should be. He’s right, they are impossible standards, and Breezepelt should not have attacked his father for wanting a compromise rather than being asked to alter himself to that degree.

Saying he had it coming is immature, as she had too high of standards, Breezepelt is a brat, and Crowfeather never moved on from past mates. None of them are all that great.

Beautifully done, such a cool aesthetic to base a map on! And I love myself a map that presents arguments from both sides. Specifically with the outro you guys did such a good job with crowfeathers characterization, making him brash and argumentative but with a solid sense of morality backing em up.

I've almost finished crow feathers trial and recalling reading the lines of crowfeather and night pools relationship has really made me come to appreciate the map even more, it's funny how accurate the parts are and the art is AMAZING and I have re-watched this at least 1000000000000000 times. good job everyone its great, good map 10/10
Oh my gosh that was incredible!! I absolutely ADORE the pallet, style, and designs of this whole map!! Every animator did absolutely perfect!! And I wasn’t expecting that outro at all, but that was such an amazing addition!!
Did I ever see this being a Warriors thing? Nope, not ever. Am I glad I found this? 1000%! Love the designs and just the whole story of this! The ending is definitely and interesting take, one not too far from canon really. They both have standards, but just are both too stubborn to hear the other out, and with a momma's boy like Breezepelt, well things will always be difficult. Amazing video and great job everyone!

This has gotta be one of the best maps I have seen all year, even if it's been just two months in so far but still! I loved the color pallette used and the way it all reminded me of the older superhero comic panels in some parts. Everyone did a fantastic job, and the addition of the comic at the end is just the cherry on top. There's nothing new i can add about the portrayal and ideas perceived from Crowfeathers and NightClouds relationship, that hasn't been said already but I do got to say I liked the way it was put both visually and structure wise. Another note I want to add is that I also loved the designs for this, never seen a superhero anesthetic before so it was cool to see

If I had to give a vote on who had the more valid request, Crowfeather by a small margin. Nightcloud is forcing an unrealistic standard and also attacks Crowfeather, though Crowfeather should have stopped long ago as it's clear the Nightcloud isn't into him. Crow is right in wanting a compromise, but Night seems to be establishing a standard that gets what she wants, either she stops getting chased by him or she gets him to change into something she feels she could marry.

i honestly feel the most bad for breeze in this situation, when you really stop to think about it, he was manipulated by his mother to hate his father and crowfeather wasn’t around to see it or stop it. most of the shitty things he did in the books were when he was an angsty brooding teenager, and he should’ve properly apologized for them, but i think it’s nice in the end he got to do the right thing and make his father proud
