It took me WAY too many rewatches to realize Ashfur's spots were lemons

After reading this right before watching I saw it
I can’t stop looking at them now that I’ve noticed them-
I didnt even notice and Ive watched this severals times
and when bramble gets possessed his snoot marking gets lemon snubs

I like how there’s a lemon on Bramblestar’s nose when he’s possessed by Ashfur. I just think it’s a cool little detail that goes unnoticed 🙂

01:11 I like this scene of ashfur rolling the lemon around with his claws like he's toying with the idea of going with Hawkfrost's plan and then you can see that he does. Just a cool scene I thought I'd point out!
I love the detail of all the cats besides Ashfur and Squirrelflight not having black lineart. You can definitely see that in Brambleclaw, Hawkfrost, Firestar and the three! Just shows how Ashfur was possesive over the fact that only himself and Squirrelflight were in the centre of his mind, no one else.
I love the symbolism of the spot on Bramblestar's nose and on his back changing into the shape of a lemon when he gets possesed, really cool little detail.

One thing I’ve noticed is how everybody but squirrelflight and ashfur himself is lineless, almost like they are irrelevant and the only important person to ashfur is just him and squirrelflight

FORGOT TO LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS!! this was one of my favorite maps, portraying squilf and ash’s relationship so well!! the details, from the backgrounds to fur patterns, they’re all gorgeous, and the song is so fitting. loved this map and all the stunning animations!! incredible work to all the animators!!
Every map I’ve seen so far always makes ashfur look like the always angry savage one but many times squirrelflight is like that too!

It's funny how many people interpret it as imposter Bramble yeeting Squilf of the High Ledge, but he really dragged her down the rockfall.
When I was still writing the script, my country had not yet published that episode, and I thought that was the truth, so I wrote the script like that lol

every time this song came up in my playlist I thought of how perfectly it goes with Ashfur and Squirrelflight and how it would be so cool to see a map with the song, and it’s taken me until today to look up and see if there’s a map for it,,, AND THERE IS!! this map is beautiful, I loved everyone’s style flowing together, everyone did an amazing job!!

*SPOILERS* I love the way you showed how it was ashfur and not brambleclaw (ashfur manipulated him) the way you faded the background into black at the end but left his eyes glowing out of the darkness was very creative and spooky.

out of all of this, Tenkitti (LonelyKitten) is my favorite, i like their simple yet not too simple art, when people try too hard to make art realistic, it ends up not looking too good, and if they try too little, it looks like blobs with ears

Just a bit of history, lemon in this context is way older than that 7 yezrs ago it was already a well established thing. And it's for every fandom. Now this term seem outdated and replaced by 'smut' tho. Ik this comment is from 2 years ago but idc :D and maybe with my comment you will rediscover this map lol
