- The turrets are the main form of defense in mindustry. Along with walls, they defend your base.

did u know that 90% of turrets have pyratite as best ammo, not just because fire, but it usually gives area dmg to units

Not exactly, pairing any turret that can use surge as ammo with a wave or tsunami that shoots water has a dps of up to 4500~, thanks to the fact that the electric bolts from the surge gives the shocked debuff

I also agree that status combos can deal much more damage...
I really like the fuse and the swarmer because fuse is good against groups of enemy's and swarmer can take groups of flying units
I love swarmer and fuse is probably #2/3 for me

1:11 Salvos can turn full auto with silicon, no you dont need water or overdrive projectors
remember: all of them do have a downside
the downsides of popular turrets:
ripple: travel time, and cant hit air
swarmer: burns ammo very fast
spectre: not much downsides, other than being fairly generic
lancer: enemies could be fast and move out of its angle
fuse: bad range
parallax: useless against ground
segment: useless without other turrets and lasers
downside to duo ? none.

You can turn salvo into a machine gun by using silicon as ammo + cryo, it looks pretty sick
Yeah, I kind of always forget that silicon increases the fire rate of whatever can use it as ammo.

I'm already an intermediate in this game, and I love it, but I'm at a stage of the campaign where I've already lost about 3 times.. due to just errors in CALCULATIONS.
I like arc+water wave for early defence, also for low and medium threat sectors. And I'm moving to Cyclone+Cyro Tsunami for higher difficulty sectors.
Water wave? For slows are to extinguish fire?

In the future in v7, pyratite will no longer be an ammo for duo

Salvo its a monster if pyring up wifh thorium and dont even need overdrive and liquid just with thorium its better than fuse and deal a very high dmg its very used on pvp mid game

ik this was 1 year ago but cyclone has most dps with overdrive dome, surge alloy, wave/tsunami with water it has 2800 dps at best
I am 100 percent sure cyclone is the best turret swarmer gets outclassed by it

easier guide:use arcs and lancers as soon as you unlock them,then use lancers and salvos,then use fuc*ing op cyclone and spectre

swarmer isnt a very good turret sometimes, its very small and not very long range compared to other late game turrets

Scorch and meltdown fighting who is the best class range turrent:
Meltdown: No I'm the best cuz I do flame damage and very useful and also Can attack air units
Scorch: For your information I can solo A reign with a single line of thorium wall and also doesn't stop firing until the unit die's

Turret names actually implies what their characteristics are
Duo - dual shooters (or watever u call that)
Scatter - cone-like bullet scattering
Salvo - salvos of bullets
Wave - (somewhat) weak stream of fluid
Tsunami - s t r o n k stream of fluid (like a tsunami)
