Editor saves Mike.
Asmon moment right there

The year is 2139.
Retro gamers all around the world Play star citizen on their antique silicon based computers.
It's announced SC will be released in the 2nd half of 2140
still waiting for 600i rework😢
Same. I just want to enjoy flying the ship but its layout is just so bad. Still my favorite ship.
i half expect them to leave it the same and make a "brand new" 700i instead
Yeah I may get one if they ever do it
@@JohnSmith-ue3pt I would snap…
I just like cruising around in my Avenger.
3:20 I really love Star Citizen has added the ambulance Ursa medivac for Search and Rescue medical gameplay.
Props to Jared for these questions too. He catches a lot of flak and I typically roll my eyes at him, but he got my respect for these questions. More of this and I may even become a fan.
But to be fair, there were a lot of questions in the Q&A thread that IMO deserved to be asked and it felt like they talked 50 minutes about stuff we already knew and ignored like 99% of all questions and instead asked the ones they wanted. So why even bother to create a Q&A thread then?
@@Kessra Because Q&As like that are marketing instruments, not actual informational events.
I mean he plays the game too right, that's how he started, he played the game and was a content creator before getting head-hunted by CIG
That’s what he wants you to think
@@explorer47422 I said if he keeps doing it. We'll see.
Waiting for 4.0 since at least 3 years.
Goon Citizen...😅😂
I've been waiting for these damn games for 8 years. Answer the call 2016? 2024? 2034?
Watch it be 4years+
Hopefully it comes out on time that would be a nice change of pace.
You too?😊
@@Vioblight they are cutting corners constantly now, so the patch goes out even if the gameplay is fully broken and not fun
The Connie Andro should be able to dump missiles faster than anything else.
Mike will advertise anything. Make that money!
Sugar-Free-Mike
I would too lmao, just skip the ad. If I got money for eating cereal i wouldnt say no
How about holding them to the stuff that they chopped from 3.23 and throw some water on all the 4.0 stuff. Until they get the persistent hangars, inventory, interactions, and looting working then a pushing 4.0 is a setup for disaster.
They will add the cut stuff at later 3.23.x update they said
They wanted to cook that stuff more since it's a big deal
We need more info on the cargo update still..
They definitely didn't want that stuff breaking freefly and Invictus
@@Vengeanceforhat4924 yeah hopefully just that and no big issue
4.0 is just to drive up sales. It will sit there on the release view for years getting chopped and changed as marketing requires.
4.0 is A next quarterly major patch after the 3.23 cycle, i think we'll still have a minor/major point patch like we saw with 3.17.2, that will add some more features like the cargo/item banks and freight elevators, then spanning this summer, we're in a direct line to 4.0, which is amazing if you think about it
Yes, 3.23.1 for ILW has been surprisingly stable despite very low server ticks - TBF, based on the PTU lead-in, I _was_ expecting a repeat of 3.17.0 or 3.18.0.
I just hope that (a) Persistent Hangars + Cargo Elevators gets into PU soon after ILW and (b) is in a good enough state that it doesn't need to be pulled from 4.0 - _assuming_ 4.0 makes it to the PTU this year.
What I'd _like_ to see released with Pyro is the Liberator, but this is highly unlikely on the basis that ship teams will still be up to their ears with the big RSI craft over the next 6-12 months.
Where is my RSI Apollo? 6 months ago they said it was “actively” being worked on.
On T2/T3 beds: We all want this to work and make sense. I've read all the drama concerning Medical Bed T2/T3 re-spawning and understand the solution won't fit what everyone wants/thinks due to things not making some sense. "Regenerating" from the back of my tiny truck is too much magic.
I was thinking, what if we don't actually "regenerate" when we have a medical bed 50km/20km away (whatever the distance) but "teleport" to it just before we die. We would then appear in our T2/T3 Nursa/Pisces bed and get immediate medical assistance. Not a regeneration because we didn't die, and no need for regeneration "goo". And to make it more believable we would carry a device that would allow teleportation to the bed we had set as our "regeneration" point, except I wouldn't call it "regenerate". The device we carry is linked to our mobi-glas which will indicate how much time we have. One can be either rescued by another player OR if our wounds are severe our mobi-glas would indicate one's a goner and tells the device to "teleport" us to the medical bed Nursa/Pisces/etc...
We would actually DIE if we are not carrying that teleport device and we would wake up properly regenerated at a T1 bed at a medical facility which will affect our overall regeneration cycles.
The teleport device would be used in conjunction with the medical bed one set to "re-spawn" at. AND it would have a limited number of teleportations (limited energy usages... batteries?), meaning we need to be prepared to carry multiple batteries/devices or risk being regenerated back at a T1 bed back at a medical facility.
Teleportation would also avoid all the dead bodies left behind AND in the future when death of a spaceman becomes active this could help minimize the counter towards eternal death, passing all our possessions to our dear nephew "Bob" who will continue our legacy...
My two cents. I placed this in Spectrum. Someone smarter can add/improve on this idea.
For 'regeneration' immersion, we should all prob be waking up in fluid filled tubes.
That bit at 4:12 was golden. Props to the editor.
I love it when you are this sweet on SC. It must be the Magic Spoon cereal. 😅
CiG can say whatever they want but unless I see it happen they’re just muttering nonsense.
I was holding off buying anything Warbond due to recent big family purchases.
But that Nursa..for my Corsair🤑
They did fix the back lights on the MSR, no more annoying flashing. That is really nice, it wasn’t really a flash, but a pulse it messed with me some, and now it’s gone.
Like you, I can't see how they can do 4.0 soon with all those features. Good, informative video!
Fingers are crossed for Pyro and server meshing, the 3.23.1 release filled up my hopium tank enough to believe this will be before fall. But with them still needing to put in hangers and the new cargo, I am not sure it might be a little after fall but I hope it is this year.
They could literally have sad "Guys, we just thought it was a funny way to show off the Ursa Med" and it would have been totally fine.
Cautious optimism has been my stance on anything CIG gives a timeline for for quite a while now. They have a track record many years long of being tremendously inaccurate with predicting dates for delivering content
Yeah exactly. I can't believe that people actually think 4.0 will be released this year. No. Next year.
I have a bug right now.
So I mined in a rented prospector, no problems. I refined 3 orders, waited 24 hours.
I came back on for a transport and sell game. I transferred what I had into my Constellation Andromeda. I then checked to see if the cargo was in my hold, and it was.
At The TTD, and I've brought it to all TTDs after this... As well as admins. My hold shows empty in the terminals.
I cannot resnap my cargo to the grid because my boxes are 200kg to 400kg. So even with the larger handheld gun I cannot lift the cargo to resnap it. I even tried to do this in Zero G, but it didn't work... In fact I got stuck in the boxes twice trying to do this. Because moving from zero g towards the cargo... Basically lands you inside the cargo boxes.
I still have my ship and cargo, so I'm not accepting the lost cargo.
My only idea is to open the cargo bay in space... And blow it up, so I will have zero g. Because then I might be able to move it. But it's too risky. Even If I could move the boxes I might have a hard time snapping the cargo to the new ship as there is gravity generation. If only I could turn off the ships gravity generator in the Conny.
What sucks about it all is basically it's a massive time waste. I've been playing since 2016, so I know how it goes. But this one here Has been the worst experience.
It's hours of work to get to the point I did and at the very last moment the game denied me.
So I'm hoping for another patch, not just for me but for anyone else who has issues.
Thanks for the video I really need to try that magic spoon I thought cereal was off the menu
Your videos are way more polished than SC Patches!
unless its on my SSD and I can physically play it I don't count on 4.0 around corner. CIG has great track record of taking things out of updates and or missing deadlines.
My experiences with 3.23 and 3.23.1 have been very positive! I've had a couple server recoveries, but they only took a couple minutes and everything was fine after!
The game feels so much more responsive and worth playing. I don't have to worry about losing everything due to a crash 😂
I had the server crash one time during the event and I timed the recovery it was at 2min which is very nice, after recovery I did have to land and cycle ships power to fix some mining issue
Love what you do. Keep up the good work
Thanks Mike! I wouldn‘t mind an entire dev post section, as the content allows for it.
The Ursa Medivac will be big even with current game loops. Now you can have a spawn point within walking distance of major POI’s without having to worry about getting spotted by recon ships.
I will look forward to 4.0 but I sure as hell am not going to hold my breath its coming anytime soon!
Haha right! First it was “we’ll start testing for 4.0 in Q4 of 2022, with a possible launch near Christmas if everything goes smoothly.” Then it went to “we’re planning on 4.0 by Q2 of 2023.”
Now they say it’ll be here Q3 of 2024, which probably means Q1 2025 if we’re lucky.
BUT it does seem CIG is making massive progress this year compared to the previous 10+ years. So maybe they’ll start hitting targets more often.
@@MrMcReetiesprobably cause SQ42 is done now and they can actually focus more on star citizen
@@MrMcReeties if it helps to make it stable and polished enough to have a great experience, im ok with q1 2025. not ideal. but they have been delivering it, and at this point in time, asking for more time in order to deliver i'm fine with it. tbh the whole base building stuff, won't be ready imo anwyays. so focus on this, and make server meshing good, im all in for it.
@Nipeno sq42 is done when we see it. Like the rest of the game. I've been here so long that I got to the point. Nothing is real before it is in game. Remember the sandworme any one. I am not a hatter I just hate being foolish. I don't think the game is a scam. CIG seriously just need to respect it's community more and be honest.
At first, I really hated the idea of being able to spawn in any medical bed, but now that I know that the bed tier will correlate to spawn distances I think it's a good change. And adds functionality to tier 3 beds that simply wasn't there before.
I love how we went from seeing 3-4 patches in advance while having consistens releases every 3 months to now patches maybe every 6 months and we can barely see the next patch content…
freelancer mis had component hatches in the ship on iae wich was nice to see. Hype for 4.0 maybe releasing at end of summer for extended testing :D
great update!
The new Argo MPUV isn't a variant right? They said the others would get the new chassis eventually (but would have to buy their own tractor beams). So more like modularity than variants I thought. Still frustrating that they essentially gold standarded an existing ship and want you to pay for the upgrade or wait longer though.
They said that the pods will be able to be exchanged so that part will be modular and then also indicated that the other MPUVs would be able to add tractor beams later like you said. I am a bit surprised they didn't update the chassis for the other two versions though.
The Convention Center has its own storage. So if you buy a bunch of stuff your going to have a hard time getting it back to A18. If you fly over to the event you prob could throw it in your ship and take it back to a18
ahh that explains when I bought some weaps...thx insight
Could also wait until the next reset and all your stuff will be there at your home station (if you're okay with waiting).
I appreciate Jared being real with us, I appreciate that.
They don't expedite shipping yet but it says "it's worth a few days wait" I assume the Magic Spoon cereal will be coming to other countries tbh I would really like this cereal no soy, wheat or sugar are all big bonuses and since it's natural sweeteners from plants not the artificial kind that trigger health issues in my heart I think it's a way forward for me I hope they come to the UK theres a big market here for healthier cereals as we are a very cereal centric place especially in england from schoolkids to adults we all have cereal in a morning at least the go getters anyways!
CIG is secretly operating on a money based update schedule. 5.0 will drop when they get "donations" totaling the GDP of a small country. 😊

“Let’s get into RoadMap UpTATES.”
Hah! You like Andrew!
At this point I feel like all my comments on your videos are just salt mixing with more salt.
Thanks, Mike
23 seconds after upload, that’s the fastest I have ever been lol
I had a server recovery last night, took all of 52 seconds before I was back. Damn impressive tbh
I actually liked the nURSA video. It's the current reality regardless of what anyone thinks about it.
the Tali being cheaper than a Raven is so funny to me
There are still a bunch of fundamentally wrong things that need fixing. like how my ship blows away after just buying it full of cargo, where empty it was standing just fine...
It's awesome to make new features but completing some would also be nice...
14.26 minute mark...where do they get the model of the Vulture from? That's pretty cool. I want one👍
I feel adding the dev comments and stuff would be nice. Specially if its included in the other topics throughout.
You should read whats going on spectrum regarding to the polaris.
“The upcoming Pyro system” will be here in 2024.. cannot wait, I jumped through a couple of months ago and server meshing worked, albeit early days. I think it will be released to live in September in 4.0. CIG have great momentum and deserve our support, they have made up for their enormous arrogance and complacency from the 3.17/3.18 era where they just assumed funding would keep going up regardless.
I think we will get the zues mk2 es, as well as cl, seeing as the MR showed up in the greyscale box.
The Polaris has to be my most favorite looking and functional ship that I would never have a reason to use other than as an expensive camper to house me and a couple of my friends and carry some ships with me. Will I still pledge for it? maybe. Do I make bad financial decisions? also maybe.
As a part-time medic I don't mind the new respawns and the new rover, so long as it's temporary.
It will let us experience the game without some of its biggest, most annoying time-sinks for once, but it will need to be rebalanced with Death of a Spaceman obviously, to make professions like medics viable again and to keep a meaningful experience.
Mercenary missions simply don't work. Only ones where you defend a bunker. Raid on Orison doesn't spawn NPC's, Drug bunkers are bugged
On the note of Star Citizen I said the same thing about Medical Beacons but some dude went off from his own experiences that it was unaffected but it all but the experience in crusader and micro is different i'd also like to note due to people having less money with the new economy that has also affected how much you get payed for helping in a medical beacon cause not all the jobs pay well and some of them are even bugged I feel like it's having some effect on pricing and even rarity of medical beacons and i've seen plenty of people complain about this at microtech it's making me wonder if I should of spent that nearly 2mil in 3.22.1 that some whale gave me on a ship more versatile than the cutty red!
Just a note on 4.0 and fire, from the Roadmap Roundup: "For the initial release, fire will be set up on a select few vehicles"
And however I hate hearing Mike being Salty just for the sake of it, I kept coming back after all. This is a toxic relationship, I love it.
I really hope eventually the devs make playing the game more if a serious experience. Its far too easy to get rich and n top of that nobody cares about risking it for the biscuit. I know we have a long way to go but they really gotta get death, risk, and wealth under control.
A drake heavy fighter would be awesome
This is probably never going to happen but I hope that one day Star Citizen brings in survival and crafting like space engineers then letting you build from there
It was surprising to me that CIG said the Polaris will be the first flyable capital ship in the game and not the Idris given how long the ship has been almost ready.
Interesting that only 2 versions of the Zeus are being worked on, and we on the DL hear that they are the Zeus ES and the Zeus CL. Why no MR love?
I thought the 325 a was supposed to be able to fire more missiles when it first came out right wasn't that like kind of its gimmick and then it got real back in or something I can't remember but I think there was something like that with that one
I dont know... there's a ton of gameloops missing. Huge tech leap but in terms of activities nothing has changed
Mike, from watching that SCL, I'm getting a strong feeling that the Zeus MR is coming last after the other variants, because it is waiting for the bounty hunter gameplay which will probably be released shortly after IAE. What d'you think?
im just really waiting for the perseus, hopefully it comes next year
There will be a new ground vehicle at one point. Remember Citizen Con and when they talked about Base Building? Players will be able to build tents and very basic stuff only and the next level above that is a ground vehicle that allows to build base modules. For anyhting above that level a Galaxy or ultimately a Pioneer is needed. As CIG hasn't talked much about that ground vehicle yet, I assume it will be coming as a concept sale somewhere this year, probably as they already started basic design on how base building should work. For the time line I think they might start with basic tents and the ground vehicle and then add Galaxy and Pioneer over time. On taking a look at the current backlog of ships though, I don't expect the Pioneer to be ready within the next 5 years as ~70 ship designers are not enough to push out more than 2-3 capital ships per year and they also have to introduce new concepts along the way, which for simplicity will for the most part remain small to mid-sized ships only.
I could also imagine some ground vehicle that can be used to extinguish fires at one point when this "game mechanic" is added to 4.0. I don't think that they will only have fires within ships. CIG loves to lure us into buying those vehicles when ultimately you can't really use them as you basically crash on each little stone or bush.
I think one of those moons may actually be one of the other planets in Pyro, not sure where I heard that. 🧂
I need finally the Cargo and Hangar Mechanics :/
I wish the other sabre variants looked like the firebird and raven. Maybe in gold standard pass.
Also i like how they broke the Retaliator, add modularity but don't implement them.... So now many people have a $150 paperweight.
The Sabre Firebird isn't totally unique, the Spirit A1 can fire 5 missiles at once. Based on when I last flew it in 3.22.1. I have yet to try it out in 3.23.
Meshing will be sweet!
Remember released doesn’t mean it will have game play attached. Just a flyable asset.
Good stuff...
Drake concept YAY...
It's only a Concept... Waaagh
Polaris hmmm 🤔
4.0 bugville ?
Excited for 4.0 but I'm just worried about a lack of stuff to do in a larger area. They need to add content that makes people want to do things because if they just increase the space we can go but not adding more to do the game won't change. Excited to see the mk2 but am disappointed it's the ES and not the CL.
There new types of cargo in missions already! Just not the missions most people want to do. I have seen many new box types included in the classic delivery missions such as ammo crates.
Hope they fix the contracts as since 3.23 I haven't been able to take any contracts
Lowkey irritated that more ships that are new are being done than ships that were already concepted. but oh well.
You Are doing good with the comercial
Do we think 4.0 is going to come with a "Current Standard Pass" for all ships, since components are a large focus of Engineering and many legacy ships don't have accessible components? Or do we think Engineering T0 will be relegated to only some ships? It would be pretty shitty to be flying along in your Connie only to get lit up with distortion damage and be unable to do anything about it.
The Andromeda is a missile spam machine,,,, at least when I owned one. Pretty sure I remember it firing off at least six at a time.
Also that missile tank could shoot much more than 4 missiles at once. Forgot how it was called. I just remember it can store 84 missiles
OMG. Tanker cargo. Put it on the back of an Atlas platform, give it a nozzle and hose, and let us refuel our own ships. Cannot wait. This would allow us to be even more independent of civilization, which is my long-term goal.
Downward facing missiles designed for the Nursa Ursa lmao 🤣
would be nice to get a fast, light hover tank with twin gatling guns for taking out pesky smaller craft
You can fire as many Missiles as you want but they have bin broken A long time and can’t hit anything unless the target doesn't move
Can't wait to wait for 4.0.x patch! 😅
As for the dev posts, whatever is easiest for you to produce man. As long as we get the information, do it however you find best for your life.
wow fire extinguisher simulator
I'm confused as to why you don't like the MPUV-1T
It's been 84 years
Ah star citizen the laptop melter
I think if they add a rare resource (or just resources in general) to medical gameplay then the whole "respawning in a Nursa" drama will be fixed. Right now there's no effort to make that respawn point, other than just buying the vehicle. I want to see people have to go out and collect resources or hunt animals for medical resources.
There’s only too hot or too cold planets and moons, where are the Goldilocks planets with the tropics? I see a lot of tropical backgrounds with the Origin ship pictures but nothing on the horizon
Talking about the real stuff, why at the invictus convention aren't they selling pants and shoes!?
So when we get Server Meshing will the game be playable?
Everytime I play Im falling through elevators or ship randomly blows up etc uninstall and try again in 6 months
ELEVATOR DEATHS ARE BACKK BABYYYY
Whats up SaltEMike I am Fran and this is your Week in Review comment for the algorithm.
