Yes he is at the rate he is going that boat till be junk in 5 years you need to use a big tarp to cover like 80% of the boat when you go out then all you have to is hose down the tarp and let it dry.
he makes me cringe for what he does to that boat and agree since i told him how he should of used a tarp in the beginning since i know he wont do that
@@kuoasify I suggested he should use a tarp in the first video he used his boat. He will not use a tarp paying $15 to $20 every 16 to 18 months for a tarp will be way better than having to spend $3k to $8k for new boat every 4 to 5 years. A all aluminum 20ft jon boat with no carpet would work way better.
This was so satisfying to watch! That boat definitely needed a good cleaning, especially after how much it has helped you go places you couldn't on the kayak! You should definitely clean it after every or every other run on it. A little bit of cleaning done at regular intervals helps, so you don't have to do everything in bulk. Also, make sure to check the connectors to see if everything is in working order before going out!
On a side note, the back of your truck needs a good power cleaning as well! Other than that the boat looks like new and she probably feels like it too! ❤

If you don’t keep the boat clean your gonna find yourself out there broke down, as a veteran of the coast guard an all the people I rescued , the first thing is , thank you thank you I thought we were going to sink an drown … we don’t mind rescues but when you go out an see a vessel an wonder why you didn’t take better care of your boat an then take your kids out in it…. I've never been around boats so I didn't know you could just power wash the whole thing without filling it up or hurting the electric! It makes sense of course to have a plug to drain from the inside. Very satisfying, would love to see this again like a once a month/season deep clean.

Same here lol, when that boat came up the drive we knew to get our butts out the door and get to cleaning. (Unless we went with that day, then we got out the vehicle and got to cleaning lol)

Never in my life did I ever envision myself watching a dude clean his boat and be fascinated by it. I guess you've hooked me on magnet fishing and all that it entails from finding the stuff, to scrapping it, to restoring it, and now cleaning it. That was a lot of mud! Quite an expensive wash too! I suggest that after each magnet fishing stop by a self-service car was and give it a good spray out, It would keep it from building up the filthy mess like you just had. Keep up the great videos. I really enjoy them. Have you ever seen outdoor weekly? You should be in touch with them and add your weights to their "Clean stream movement. They are trying to get 100,000 lbs of trash out of the water in a year.

YAY! Finally! But did you learn your lesson? The longer you wait to clean your boat, the harder you have to work to get it clean. And if you wait too long the damage may be done and it will never look the same again. Just a quick spray down after each use and the boat will look top notch for a long time. 😁

I carried sometimes my portable pressure washer that uses standing water, in my case I use rain after that I collect in my rain barrels, especially when I go magnet fishing to clean the muck off the objects I pull out of the water. You should install a metal rack outside your boat so when you pull something in you can use a portable pressure washer to not only clean the objects, but also keep the muck out of your boat. Just a suggestion.

Sometime when you do a good cleaning of the boat, you should put Scotch Guard on the carpet. Great video Fisher, can't wait to see you get the boat dirty and filled up again. Good luck.

I’m going to make a suggestion to clean the boat more often. First, take the amount of time you have had the boat. Then, in that time frame, count the number of times you went magnet fishing in it. Finally, divide the bigger of the two numbers by the smaller and the answer is a rough estimate as to how often you should deep clean it. After that, just come up with an average time for a simple cleaning.

With such a dirty job the boat will get dirty. And I noticed how very cold it had been up there. You may would have had an icey boat floor. Sometimes best to wait regardless if we want something clean all the time. Great job!! Hope you catch a lot of fish when you go!!

Although, I have never said anything about the dirty boat, I have thought about it 🤣Maybe this one should have been on the restoration channel 🤣🤣I am so glad you got it cleaned up. Maybe place a tarp on the bottom of the boat and dump each trip?? Might save you a lot of work in future.

Mr Clean sponges works great on the seats and walls. Plus console. That's what I use to use when I had a pontoon boat
Wow only been 2 months of river filth. I'm so glad you got it back like the first day you bought it. Like I said the day you got it get heavy duty tarps and put over the floor and sides. Just pull it out and the boat will stay alot cleaner. Loved the video😊
