      I mean it isn't your normal type of content but could be interesting to make a video going back up in that area like if you can get your truck over there somehow to just be cool to pick up a whole bunch of that metal one you're cleaning it up the area but two like seems to be a lot of stuff up there so could be well worth your time

      By the way that big clamp you found that honestly looks like one of the clamps that are sometimes used on backhoes like on the Digger arm or excavators on their digger arm

      That was a close one. Glad u got ur bracelet and all was good with the Go Pro and Phone they aren't cheap to replace. It would b nice if u could get all that stuff out of there. Maybe pull another kayak and see how much u can put in it. Might take a few trips or maybe bring help. But cleaning it up and money in ur pocket is a win win. I truly luv watching ur videos u find some interesting stuff. Thank You for ur time have a great day.

    • @countyseatadventures
      @countyseatadventures Рік тому +2

      @@raymcginn2952 EXACTLY!!!! 😕 Can't believe he had it n wasnt wearing it. 🤷‍♀️ I'm guessing that since they can be restrictive, he doesn't like wearing it. But...Tyler, there's MANY to choose from now that are very small as to 'wearing coverage', ya just pull a tab to inflate via a CO² cartridge n it inflates to save ya!!! 😉 But a heads up about those...be sure to check the cartridges as they have dates on!! My cousin found out the hard way n it almost cost her her life!! 😦 There's a bunch of UA-camrs who wear them or similar...like Jake, Tristan n Brendan. They use the HYDE Wingman vest n I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! ❤
      So...PLEASE get one n WEAR IT!!! 🤞🏻🙏 We want ya around a long while yet n most importantly...Lil Cash needs dad to be there for him!!! 😏🧑🏻‍🦰💙 Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye...I know very well as I almost lost my cousin last summer as she was yaking in Eau Claire with friends. A boat went between them n the waves tipped her. She had a vest on, but when she got her vest, she wasn't told to check the cartridge n it almost cost her dearly. 😒She'd pulled the ring on her vest n it didnt inflate..n knew she was in trouble. She was swept downstream rapidly n was struggling to stay up n hanging on to her yak. Some people on the walkway bridge seen her n even tried to help, but to no avail. She seen a few low overhanging branches n tried to make her way over to them, but the water swept her to quick as she let go of her yak n she wasn't able to hang on well and it was over her head to stand n was able to grab some grass clumps n hang in enough to get up a bit on the steep bank. She was able to hang on til rescue crews came n she was taken to the hospital. She was pretty beat up from the rocks n such, but was EXTREMELY fortunate to have survived and was released the next day. Ironic part of this whole thing is she's been a HUGE advocate for life jackets since tragically losing her 3 yr old grandson a few yrs ago to drowning and is a co-founder of a group that donates life jackets and free swim lessons to ANYONE who needs them. She's speaks at schools and to groups of all sorts and has received recognition from the Red Cross and others for her work. She now has added the info about the CO² cartridges n the importance of checking them and replacing regularly to her speeches and tells her survival story as a testimonial as well as that of life jacket use in general.
      So hopefully he gets n uses a life jacket!!!! 🤗💝

    I mean , it was bound to happen sooner or later. Thankfully u were in shallow waters so you were able to recover quickly. You had some pretty wild finds there today. It's the river that keeps on giving. You have found ankors before, perhaps keeping a small one on board will help keep you from being swept with the current when u find a sweet spot that u want to keep fishing 🤷‍♀️ thanks for taking us along on another great trip down the river.

    Knew it was eventually going to happen, just glad you got it on video for our entertainment. L😂L! But seriously, I'm glad you're ok and wasn't in any real danger since the water was shallow.
    Before you go kayaking again, I think you should invest in waterproof cases for your phone & go pro. Also get a self-inflating flotation harness. I assume you know how to swim, but if the water is deep and you can't get yourself out for whatever reason, the harness will keep you buoyant so you're not expelling too much of your energy and getting wore out. I would also suggest finding a way to strap your backpack to the kayak so if you do flip again, you won't lose it. Put your keys in a pocket with a zipper. Sunglasses, keys & cellphones are the main things lost in waters.
    I wonder if you could find something that floats you can put your finds in & tow it with you instead of trying to fit it in the kayak with you. Not a second kayak because that would cost too much, but some kind of floating platform or container or something.

    Sorry you fell in the water, but the awesome thing is I told my Daughter everything you could have lost and you didn’t cuss. Your Blessed to be okay. I was in a hurry the other day and didn’t take the time to say those were my first posts to you. I’ve been watching your videos since Covid started. You do better than all the other magnet fishers with your excellent video and audio recording abilities. Thank you for all the entertainment. I magnet fish now to. I like to say I get metal drunk.
