How heavy is it?
Do they offer a payment plan?
That is one sweet ride you have there ❤️
Had me a bit worried you were going to skid out in that construction zone.
I have MS and Vertigo is my enemy. I can’t balance anything, so that nice Step-Thru will have to go to someone else.
Great Video today. I really enjoyed it.
Cool looking bike. At 67 not a good idea for this old bag. Nice clean boat. Rinse, rinse, rinse before hauling in the stuck in the mud stuff. The little truck would be nice restored. Ever restore the old airplane? 👍👍
"The ole shoe shaperoo" as you called it, is a cobbler's hammer form, used as a way to replace soles on shoes way back in the day, and they often came in different sizes and shapes for various shoes and boots, it provided a hard surface for the cobbler to remove and replace soles on footwear. It would be mounted on a bar with the sole for facing upwards so the sole of the shoe would be face up and ready to be worked on.
That's pretty cool, I guessed it was off a snowmobile.
down here in SW MO they call it a 'shoe last', where 'last' derives from an old word for 'form' or 'trace' (as in tracing an outline of a foot)
Came here to say this.
It’s probably worth a good bit of money too!❤
@@hollypierce3076 I guessed either in a shoe store for repairs etc., or an olden day prosthetic 🤦🏻♀️🤣
The little curved blade that Alex caught made me think of a leather working tool. Then, almost right away you caught the shoe shaped piece and that is for making shoes. It's a cobblers tool and I think it's called a lathe, or something like that. They both look like they could still be used. Always something interesting at this spot.
You're thinking of lasts, the wooden foot shaped that helps shape the leather. The cast iromn stand is just the stand. It was for putting on soles and sewing or nailing.
Shoe shape is a last.
@@artbrownsr Did I stutter?
Metal part from a 3 ring binder. 😂
06:47 that is a shoe stand for cobblers to work on the shoe. you have to hold upside down, 15:12 paint scrapper. 16:35 looks like a rotor for electric motor. 21:32 part of a binder (school stuff)
@@davidturk6170 the rotor is magnets the stator (or casing) has the copper.
The glass frame with hinge and catch was off a 90s camaro/firebird rear hatch.
You win a cigar! Got'em all correct.
AND, the piston you thought was for a screen door, actually went with the window frame. There's usually one on each side to hold up the glass!
No it wasn't for The window frame.....first of all that was a GM window frame for a trailblazer which is one of the GM big screw-ups that they made, an actual window that popped open salad glass inside of an actual pop-up back door. The window was separate from the back pop up door but it was all glass and it had window hinges and a single hydraulics and that was all that held it in place and they shattered all the time if you slammed them too hard..... second of all the hydraulic thingy found had the little tab on it to keep the door open on a screen door so it was definitely for a screen door.
Gotta bring a shop lamp for those night time fishing videos! 😁
Also, have you thought of selling the tools and restorations at a flea market? It would be cool to find how much people will bargain for the stuff you find!
That shoe thing is from an actual shoe maker that used to repair or make shoes. Very old and antique I have several of those😊
It’s a keeper. Not for scrap.
That spot will probably still have stuff in there for weeks to go. Major dump area, and fun to watch. 👍
I love when your at that old wall. It's amazing how much stuff people have thrown in the river, but it's a great treasure hunt for you & Alex. Can't wait for the next video!
Always good to see your river getting a little bit cleaner The Fisher 👍☕🐠⚓⚓⚓
That iron shoe is the top of a cobblers anvil.great find
You got some good finds brother some of those old metal toys are worth money have a good night
That "shock" is what keeps the storm door from slamming!
117° here in Oklahoma. Glad to see your video today because it's too hot to get out and I was tired of looking at these four walls. Just love your videos and when finish watching one can't wait for the next one
117?! Holy smokes 😅
@@TheFisher that's the heat index. Texas is getting worse and here
109 in pahrump nv, lol hang tough.
@@MarkLittle-jg2ep it's just getting hot and miserable all over. We are supposed to get a break in the heat with rain tonight
@toasted4112 cool, no break here for a while, but it's all good , casinos are nice and cool, .25 cent poker, ice water, cuties, lol
Fantastic finds today Tyler, and Alex. That pitch fork was an amazing find. Its from the 50's. I have the matching shovel, that how i know how old it is. My father gave it to me a few years ago. The boat looked good all cleaned up. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.
That fork is really called a spading fork it's for gardening
Guys, I think you guys should consider in getting a good radiation detector. You already picked up something that was detected at the yard and today I see that Alex got something "warm" to the touch. Uncontrolled radiation, is really a nasty stuff and you should keep clear of it all the time. Great show and please keep posting.
Thought I was the only one who caught that. Very true!
Yeah that's exactly what I thought!!!
Right? I immediately began freaking out that they found some random orphan source of radiation.
The little blade that you recovered is that of an Alaskan "ULU" a type of knife that is historically Alaskan.
I love every video you make! You are always excited. Great finds today. Today is a good day for both of us! This is my rest week and I feel good! No chemo this week! Going try to look for your merch! ☮️❤️
Sending virtual hugs and healing thoughts your way.🙂👍
Fisher is on fire!!! Keep up!!!!
You literally are the craziest UA-camrs
I get the feeling that whoever cleared that end lot couldn't be bothered to sort and haul away the contents of the garden shed so they just dumped it all in the river.
The whole garage or shed for sure.
Hey fish great video good to see you back my friend 😀👍👍
Fun fishing today. And, Alex was here, too! Thanks Fisher, keep these videos coming!
The pitch fork you found is typically called a "tater fork" in my part of the country. The forks are flat, and the handle is short and used to dig up potatoes. 😊
Tyler you never disappoint me! So glad you guys went back to the honey hole by the wall. I hope there is an old motorcycle in the river along that wall. I would love to see you find something spectacular like a motorcycle or riding lawn mower. It seems that area was a dumping ground for the previous homeowners. You and Alex stay safe. I just checked out your restoration channel. You are too too much fun to watch. I never look at TV anymore🤪
Definitely better than TV!
Good afternoon Tyler. I love your video's and keep them coming. I still enjoy the sound you make. I think there is a lawn mower in there. Because of all the oil you are finding. I enjoy you and Alex work together ☺️☺️☺️❤. You guys have a great day 😊😌😌
The marshmallow thing looks to me like the Internal shaft and magnets to an AC electric motor. Dang you were so close with the three ring binder back.
I agree
That pretty thing that you found that was partial ring with the holes in it is part of the base of a lamp. An antique floor lamp😊
@21:41 that three rings thing is from a three ring binder, Frankie. Lost his homework!😂😂
Love watching you two your so funny and entertaining fisher keep it up
I really enjoy your videos . So much fun and stuff to find.
Love watching you guys! Keep 'em coming as fast as you can.
Just wanted to tell you that I have been learning a lot of tips and tricks for magnet fishing from you!!
Possible radiation comes to mind for pulling that metal emitting heat? Never know who dumps what. Might wanna get a giger counter lol.
Just found your channel, love it already and I'm all the way over in england.
Bro I love your channel I’ve been watching for a year now and because of you I started magnet fishing
The Fishers channel never, and I mean never disappoints me on his adventures! You and Alex are just, just amazing 🥲!!
The toy truck is super cool! You def should restore it!!
You two crack me up so much guys love the videos can't wait to see the next one hope you have a great day
Cool pitchfork & sweet toy truck Tyler; it would be very cool to see that truck cleaned up 😁👍Thank you, guys 💖💖
Love the old metal truck!! So awesome!! The pitch fork is saweet too!!
Have you ever thought about using a fish finder to scan the bottom? I guess that could show you bulky objects that you might want to pull out... 🙂
He tosses an underwater cam in on occasion & maybe a finder once ..he did a vid a couple years ago that he busted out some fishing tech
@@beccamac3520I think I remember seeing that video you spoke of. He was ice fishing, in a tent, and was using some sort of camera in the hole. You could actually see the fish schools very well! He caught his limit of Lake Perch in no time flat! That was a great video!
That 3 ring is a binder to keep papers in, that one thing that was shaped like a foot (shoe) is a shoe is what a shoe maker would use, and the thing you said was a marshmallow maker goes inside of a motor, and the scrapper you said you thought was a dry wall scrapper is a paint scrapper
Nice finds Tyler!!!! U nvr and I mean nvr disappoint!!!! 💜🐈⬛🐾🐾
Crazy finds! Love the toy truck, that’s super cool.
The spot is still juicy. Still pulling interesting stuff out of it. I love the little truck can't wait to see that one cleaned. Love the video😊
The thing that you pulled up at 16:06, is the rotor armature out of an electric motor. I'm amazed, that you're picking something up, every time you throw the magnets!
I know some cranks and their handles have been missing for a while 😂😂
Hi team magnet fishing enjoy your viewing
From Singapore keep up
Good work regards to your
Family
Your shoe shaperoo comes from an old shoe shop. Either to make a pair of shoes with, or to repair them. (?) who knows Tyler, it could be an old foot for in a shoe of someone who needed a prosthetic back in the day (?) I’m thinking though, with Alex’s mini blade find that it’s more than likely from a shoe shop. ❤
Not sure if you’re keeping “all” the good tools you find, but that hammer and pitch fork can be cleaned up and sold for a buck or two….🤔 or three.
Giant Marshmallow in a stick 😂
19:31 love those door knobs. We have them all throughout our house. ❤❤❤
23:39 water level looks lower 😮
The long handle thing, with replaceable blades could be a carpet laying/stretching tool. Seen one used years ago
That tool is a paint scraper. New blades are available for it. It can be cleaned up and used.
The shoe thing is for making shoes, paint scraper and car parts🤣
Thanks for sharing
Idk why but I always love it when you find toy cars
Great video, Tyler and Alex!
Fisher, at 3:25 that is the blade to an ulu( ooloo). A knife used by Inuit and Eskimo people of Alaska and northern Canada. Translation " women's knife"
If that E-bike was free you got a nice deal there my friend!
Tyler when you restore the toy truck, you can replace the tires. You can find replacement parts like that at a hobby shop. That’s an interesting place you’ve found, so many good finds, and the canal gets a little cleaner with each trip there. When I think about all the scrap metal runs you’ve done…that’s a whole lot of crap you’ve been able to remove. Shame on the humans who disposed of their scrap waste in our waters! I bet they never dreamed that someday some guy would come along, and make a profitable career out of making videos of himself removing their shady discards 🤣. Thanks Tyler! Thanks Alex!
I'm so jealous of everyone that does these videos that has a boat!
Imagine the guy who bulldozed all that stuff into the canal, now watching these video and seeing how much 'cold hard cash' he coulda had if he weren't so lazy...
Hi Alex. Hey Tyler still loving the videos, doing great work with the boat. Awesome ❤ purchase. We are going to have to start a go fund me for you to get a barge for all of the scrap your finding. Cleaning the waterways, recycling, UA-cam paycheck = cash money baby.
That metal thing that looks like a foot or shoe is a shoe last. Those sell on sites for up to $300. Cobblers used them to make shoes by hand back in the day. Might be best not to scrap that.
6:46 - find that in a shoe repair shop. Believe it or not, before everybody wore these rubber soled shoes, most shoes had leather soles. Shoe repair shops would replace the soles and/or heels, amoungst other types of repairs. That piece would be on a post with the smooth side up. The cobbler would fit the shoe over it so he could work on the bottom of the shoe facing up.
Wow you guys tore it up! Love the pitch fork old car wow awesome finds! Have a great weekend!
The bulki thing on the stick ist a rotaryshaft of an electric motor.^^
If anything, cleaning up the drink is good. 👍
Thank you for cleaning up the river!🥰
Thank you for watching!
The metal shoe looks like a brace for an old pair of skis maybe
Also the 3 rings goes into a binder, kids use for school. It holds paper.
@21:40, no it’s a 3 ring binder for a notebook. 😂🤣😂
That's a Cobblers Anvil for Crafting/Making Shoes.
That's a Stator for an Electric Motor. It's the part that spins inside the Electro-magnetic Field and drives whatever it's being used for
Wow that truck is a keeper it is so old they quit makin them back mid 60s i believe. Awesome finds the both of you. Take care guys love you both CleanStream Movement thank you. I dont think you wont find a bare spot where you been Magnet fishing :)will take at 2 more years gettin that spot clean non stop
The 3 ring piece is the center piece of a binder, they open up and you put paper with 3 holes, popular in school
I love the concrete wall area! That place is some of your most awesome finds!!
Find out whats leaking oil! Nice clean on thebiat dude 😊
Hi Tyler! Cool to see a Honda commercial since I had just bought a 2023 Honda Ridgeline! It is so awesome to drive and love the features! Cheers!
Sorry talk to text. Congrats on your new home. Owen must love it!
You guys have the best times...🎉all that scrap pays for the gas for the next adventure...(also don't forget the snacks...😅)
Love that old toy truck you found, had a could like it in my youth.
Btw, i really enjoy your show!!
looked like a great day of laughter and great finds keep dipping thanks for sharing
The foot is what a shoe repair person would use when working on shoes.
the shoe shaped thing is/was used for stretching shoes to fit someone.
The thing with the three rings is from a three ringed binder
Did you knock that poor fish out, throwing the magnet? 😂
Wow nice job on the boat 🚤 😊👍
Great job, guys. I love your videos. 😊
At 6:32 you pulled a cobbler's shoe last off of your magnet. It would have been used to make sole repairs or resoling shoes.
The thing with three rings is part of an old notebook binder. The rings open and you add paper and close them up.
The S.S. Cash Money looked pristine at the start then like a bomb had gone off at the end! LOL!
The thing at 16:30 looks like the armature from a starter motor- the thing that spins inside the motor. That thing is LOADED with copper!
Some fish swimming by WHAM magnet to the gill ahhhhh, lol
It’s like listening to scooby do 😂 love it
The item with the 3 rings looks like the spine of a binder (file / folder - and the rings would go through holes in paper for eg).
Nice finds again at that honey hole!!!
All those old files are popular with knife makers. They heat, hammer, and grind them into various types of knives.
and here I am! lol the big marshmallow on a stick is the inside of a big electric motor. clean it off and its all copper and a big wrapped up bunch of copper wire.
The GM on the Rubber with glass is General Motors and most probably a windscreen or even part of a sunroof from a car. And the part of metal that you said was an animal trap I would agree with you. It certainly looks like a type of animal trap.
That crank you caught, yeah, It was 100% used to wind the springlocks
The 3rings is what's left of a loose-leaf notebook
The little blade at 3:25 is a mini Alaskan ulu blade missing the wooden handle. I have one that size and one a little larger I use to process deer.
The shoe thing could be part of a cobblers last as suggested, but could also be a shoulder brace for a large hand cranked drill, I have one, it is very old.
At 16:39, it is the spindle of a motor, with the coils inside, and the rotating contacts, also, on one end of it.
At around 2148 you picked up at 3 Ring Thing. It's from a three-ring binder. You know for school. Just no covers left on it.
That straight tool that has a razor area was a window scraper. In NY our inspection stickers went on the inside of the windshield for a year same with the registration. I used one to scrape them off for the new ones. Mechanics used to use them.
UA-cam playing games, I wasn't notified of your uploads. Keep them coming dude!
