    Possibly the best review I’ve seen for this car. Pointing out exactly what matters. No rambling. Video shot with very high resolution when shooting the tech part which is critical. Thank you.

    I can relate. I feed six deer every evening. I call them my evening Six Pack. Two are currently pregnant . They're wild but someday I hope they'll trust me enough to approach me.

    Hey Steven,
    Thx for the review - Well done!!
    The GV70 offers a wide variety of modes for the driver to enjoy.
    As I approach 60 yrs old (and I'm a bit of a car guy) I totally love the luxury & comfort side of vehicles BUT also what to turn it up when I can. This GV70 3.5TT should really be about $20-$50K higher priced. It simply does everything really well and is 2nd to none is this segment when it comes to ride quality, comfortness, quietness all while surrounding the occupants with massive luxury features.
    It is called the baby Bentayga for many reasons. It is so quiet & refined when you want it to be - When you're stuck in traffic or going no where fast. My wife asked me if it was an EV as it was so quiet. Those double paned windows really make a huge difference. Plus the massaging seat is nice!!
    When you want to drive spiritedly switch it into Sports + mode and you easily hear the roar of the engine and the sweet exhaust notes while enjoying the rear wheel driving bias sporty experience.
    In comparison, the RDX A Spec it an excellent top rated vehicle but that engine is super noisy vs the GV70 and its a much more stiffer ride. Plus I wasn't impressed with the 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds to the GV 70's of 5.7 (4.9 seconds in the V-6). And the RDX weighs 450 lbs less.
    Its the luxury components/options, higher tech, standard features & options, the ride quality (can be extremely quiet & smooth AND aggressive and sweet exhaust notes) that makes this GV 70 THE clear winner in segment.
    Overall the CLEAR winner for me the is the GV70 3.5TT in Sport trim level. I'll take it in that Gorgeous Mauna Red exterior colour with 2 tone interior combination please:-)
    In Canada that full load price is $76,500 plus taxes. The F&PDI is included in that price. No discounts from that at all.
    The electrified version is coming out in 2023 but in Canada the top trim level will be about $25K-$35K higher cost to the ICE version. Besides its NO Gas requirement the EV version is a littler quicker with 0-60 times 4.3 to 4.6 seconds. For me I'd put down my deposit yesterday if the EV version had a time in the 3.5 second range. It will have a 500 kms range on a full charge.
    PS - Lots of dealer problems with Genesis in the States. Here in Vancouver No problems at all. I have 3 dealers within 40 minutes and the nearest is 15 mins away.
    Cheers all!!

    Nice review. I just had my one year concierge service on my 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige (Uyuni white over red/charcoal). I would buy it again in a heartbeat. At any trim level the GV70 offers a great value, beautiful styling inside and out, great warranty and concierge service.

    Great job! I just bought an Advanced in Red/Black yesterday. I was going to get the beige interior as I think it looks really nice, but I have several friends who have had it in various cars and ALL of them say: “Never again! It get’s dirty on its own somehow and your new car can look old, fast unless you are regularly cleaning it!” That isn’t me! 😅
    I definitely think the Advanced offers the most for the money and I didn’t really need/want what the Prestige offered as the Advanced is so well appointed and equipped! Right at that perfect intersect of quality and value where I would have to spend significantly more for a small gain. I wish it had a heads up display too but I only want it because mine doesn’t have it! 😅 In truth, I would rarely use it.
    I’m questing it’s my hearing but I can’t quite make out what you said just around 25-…”of having a Genesis.”
    Thanks again! Can’t wait to pick mine up next week! I did better than MSRP in that my dealer offered me 3K more for my trade in than another dealer who wouldn’t budge and I was already paying what was on the sticker.
    Oh! I was desperate to get a 2023! The 2024 Advanced models drop several great features including the great stereo system!

    I just put my deposit down today on a 2023 white GV70 Advanced. I wanted the cool digital cluster and HUD in the sports prestige, but couldn't stomach the mesh seats. That ruined it for me. The Advanced model seats are just more luxurious looking. Just wishing I could have the digital cluster.

    It’s a shame most dealers are adding 17-20% mark up to the cost. 😡

    • @StevensCarReviews

      Thanks for watching! Yep, the car buying world is pretty crazy right now. The person who owns this car was able to get the car at MSRP about 6 months ago, so it’s definitely possible still to get it at MSRP!

    • @otm777
      @otm777 Рік тому +3

      I got mine in Jan ‘23 here in Florida. The first dealership wanted $5k over MSRP and I seriously thought dude was crazy. Next one wanted $4k over, and the third (which was the lowest) wanted $2k over. Realizing central FL is probably a hot market, I decided to look outside my state in smaller/less demanding cities with the thought of having the car shipped to me. I figured if I could get it at a descent price, the overall cost (with shipping) would still be less than paying thousands over MSRP. I eventually found one at MSRP but the deal fell through as another buyer had the car reserved. Bummed but determined I continued looking in other neighboring states and eventually called another dealership 165 miles away from me. It was there i was blessed to get it at $800 BELOW. It’s crazy, just a few years ago paying MSRP for a vehicle was like committing the unforgivable sin, but nowadays we’d gladly accept it without negotiation.
      You definitely have to keep looking because most dealers will use the same excuse (although true) to their advantage…low inventory, supply chain issues, chip shortage, etc. In all honesty, inventory on the GV70 is pretty scarce, and it was a bit more challenging for me since I wanted a specific color combo (Uyuni White/Black) along with the Advanced trim. All in all, I was very fortunate and it worked out. I highly suggest shopping around, even outside your hometown and don’t settle for the first offer if you don’t feel 100% comfortable.

    I'm torn between the Adriatic Blue exterior with the Sevilla Red interior or the Mauna Red exterior with the Ultramarine Blue interior.

    • @StevensCarReviews
      @StevensCarReviews  2 роки тому

      Good choices! If you’re getting a sporty trim like the 3.5T sport prestige, the red interior really pops! I’m not the biggest fan of the blue interior, but it is very unique.

      My local dealer has two in blue with red interior and they remain unsold even in this tight market. I checked them out yesterday. That combo, IMHO, looks really loud colored and a bit “pimp-ish”. The two colors together clash. Sales guy called it the “clown car” combo. Be sure you actually see one and don’t just decide from online photos.

    • @gestebu
      @gestebu Рік тому

      @@atomicrancher3745 Yet they don't allow the Cardiff Green with Havana Brown combo which would be my choice. You would have to get the matte Brunswick Green to get the Havana Brown. But they allow the Adriatic Blue with Havana Brown. Can't figure that out. Seems you could at least special order any combo.

      The MSRP of my 2023 2.5T Advanced with three accessories was $53,550. The dealer marked it up $7000 but accepted $2000 over MSRP (less than Edmunds True Market Value). An outstanding car!

      I was able to buy a 2.5 Sport Prestige for MSRP plus &995 (down from $1,995 ask from the dealer) that include a front windows tint, clear protection for doors edges and handles, and a dash camera. Not that I ordered those extra items, but for $995 seems fair to me. This is in the DFW area, but I think now dealers are starting to be willing to negotiate

    • @gestebu
