    A nice tip to go with BL based blocks is that you don't have to insert the center+DL with f', you can do it with S' and it's just as fast. I use that a lot to influence the second pair.

    Damn! It seems that you have been really getting back into OH lately. Hopefully you'll get the record back soon and show the world what roux is capable of!

    Great video, thanks to Brazilian legend haha. I'm always so impressed by your solves because i couldn't see any pauses. You were slower on some steps but overall it looked so fluid. I can't even do that 2H. Respect man^^

    Thats really useful in cfop as well. We can fix the dl edge in cross to avoid right left hand switching😁

    Woah this seems to be actually what I thought of when I thought about roux for oh. I don't use roux tho at least not yet, we'll see.

    Thanks for this. Well explained and nice reference to Iuri for coming up with it. Would you recommend to consider this concept for 2H as well?

      Thanks for the good feedback! I don't really recommend this for 2H because you can easily do B moves

    I am a beginner roux solver. Here are my steps.
    First block: Solve 3 edges
    Solve their corners
    Second Block : Insert DR edge
    Pair and insert
    CMLL : Solve the case like 2 look oll
    Do an A or E perm depending on the case
    LSE : 4A 4B 4C

    • @aSuperPi.
      @aSuperPi. 5 років тому

      Ron Lavender okay I am going to stop you at first block. Don’t solve it like that it is inefficient and causes you to use cube rotations. Solve it like 2nd block but on the left side.

    This seems pretty cool since B moves kill my solves; I'm going to experiment with this technique, but I'm guessing it takes quite a bit of skill to solve the DLB corner properly.
    Off topic, but at 2:55 is F r' F better for the front pair? I always solve it like that.

    • @Kian_Mansour
      @Kian_Mansour  5 років тому

      I do it both ways depending on what I feel like / how it influences SB. I think I do my way more because F' is easier than F

    I feel so fucking stupid for not doing wide Fs in OH... I would always just do an X rotation or some weird shit. Also, how recently have you learned this?
